  1. I don't know, if there is already something in this direction - but i found several mods, that show that this would be possible - but lack of time, i could not yet start getting into it by myself. required mods, to create the needed setting: - lawbringer - fort takeover framework - the second great war - blades overhaul/paarthurnax quest expansion - civil war checkpoints i would like to - assign blades to the forts - if the blades own the majority(2/3rd) of forts/towers/checkpoints of a hold, get a pledge of loyalty from the jarl - alternatively: if you are thane and brought the holds guards into 2/3rd of the poi's, get pledge as well, because you are the dragon born - if the holds are all yours, tell ulfric and tullius that the dragonborn is in charge now - possible shortcut: force ulfric to kneel to the dragonborn and hand over the crown - tell tullius, that the dragonborn will be loyal to the imperials, because he will be the new emperor anyways (titus has no successor and you will have the power to seize cyrodiil) and thus end the civil war and be ready to start the second great war i know, this most probably will not happen to come to life. but i just wanted to share my thoughts
  2. Your additions sound really nice. now, even when ck will be released, we just need an army of modders to start creating all those multiverses...
  3. i like the approach of calling it 'modding ideas' instead of Bethesdas list of missed opportunities. but let's first start with a disclaimer: - the following idea will not be possible before B's official mod support is released - i do not know, if it even will be possible with CK - the following idea will not be achievable by a single modder or even a small group of modders - i don't know if any of this would be achievable anyways - i only read about the vanilla alternate universes, but haven't experienced one so far so after my first playthrough i asked myself: why is ng+ just the same universe. according to multiverse theories, the number of different universes should be times as high as the number of 'my' universes. So i depict a list of some major universe layout settings, as follows: - a universe, where the war of colonies never happened - a universe, where there is only UC and some free settlements - a universe, where there is only FC and some free settlements - a universe, where UC won the war ') conventionally '') due to success of what Hadrian Sanon was researching during the war - a universe, where FC won the war - a universe, where the war is still ongoing - a universe where every solar system is it's own faction (which would be the most realistic one with humans from earth) - a universe where there are no civil governments, but corporations - a universe with a 3rd faction, the Autonomous Civilizations (AC) ... And i know, what this means - remodel every single outpost and settlement to have a UC and a FC design version - rescript every single questline and mark, which universes they can appear - create new settlements, outposts, whatever for the 'never had a war' universes so basically: creating a full new game with every universe. reusing parts, but still having a lot of work... Additionally, i would opt for some permutations for all major universes. - earth never was made inhabitable - randomly switch solar system alignment between factions i had a lot more of ideas on this topic, before i went to bed the other day - but this is what remained in my head, for now. the replayability of the game would drastically increase but this would need a team like 'beyond skyrim' and take ages to become reality...
  4. i had the same issue in the Andreja questline. we boarded a ship where we would want to talk to someone - and after the initial chatter of the npcs the questlog asked me to talk to the person on board. she gave me the stare, but nothing happened. i could not move, i could not do anything but reload. but with every reload it went the same way. the solution - which is not surprising for bethesda logic, i suppose - was: load. get back to my ship. sleep for an hour, get back through the docker and start the talking sequence.
