  2. Alright, it sounds like you're buggered, but I'll give this a shot just to help you out. Start up the Morrowind Launcher and click Data Files. You should see a list of .esp and .esm files. Make sure 'Morrowind' has an 'x' in the box. If it already does, you're buggered. ... Wait, what the crap ... If you don't have the cd, then how are you running Morrowind in the first place? If Morrowind does not have the 'x' next to it, double-click it and then exit the Launcher. Try to play your game. If you still can't play the game, I suggest this.
  3. I'm carrying: Some Bonemold Armor An Orcish one-handed axe A Steel Battleaxe Some Potions Some Scrolls Some Security Items Some Animal Remains Illegal Paraphenalia
  4. UESP was down the last time I checked, but here's another link. http://til.gamingsource.co.uk/ This will give you a lot of background information.
  5. Well, I think we've pretty much covered every single monster in Morrowind at this point, everything from Slaughterfish to Ascended Sleepers. Frankly, no one can really say that Dagoth Ur was frightening, because he's ... he's just not. I mean, come on. He's like a prissier version of Clay Aiken. I can just imagine, "I'm just liiiiiike an invisiiible maaaaaaan! Nobody loooooves me! Weeeeeoooooh! Weeeooooh!" Man, I can't stand prefabricated, lifeless pop stars. Or Dagoth Ur. Moving on ... I'm most frightened by Winged Twilights. Think about this: they're the messengers of Azura. Azura. Azura, who is supposed to be helping you. They're the messengers of the only Daedra Lord who is supposed to be helping you, and they attack you on sight. What the crap? :help: Inviiisiiiiible maaaaaaaan!
  6. The Dwemer covered the entrances to some of their most valuable dwellings with maneuvering stone doors. The trick to open these doors is usually an inconspicuous crank hidden nearby.
  7. It depends on what you want to play, as Theta said. For the storyline, you can play any race equally, but the beast races fit the storyline the least. Gender-wise, it's just easier to get through the main quest as a female. I know, I know. You're thinking I'm a perverted scumbag (which I won't deny), but there are at least two parts of the main quest where it's better to be female. I have two female characters, one of which is very close to completing the main storyline. She is an Imperial Barbarian under the Charioteer sign. The Imperials have two nice abilities. Voice of the Emperor lets you charm people, which is great, and the other ability lets you steal Fatigue points from enemies. That's freakin' shiny. I chose the Barbarian, because I like melee fighting. It's just more fun. Bash. Bash. Bash. Oh, and the Charioteer gives you an additional 20 (?) points to your Speed, which is just lovely. I mean, you got to be able to go fast. Dream ...
  8. I must disagree. The only other option Mr. Bagarn has is to go out into the world. He'd get murdered if he ever went into a city, or he'd be captured and put into a zoo. "LAST LIVING DWEMER!" And that's if the Cliff Racers don't get him. No, the man is held by the force of the social convictions of the people of Vvardenfell. Sorry, that was really off-topic.
  9. A Summary of one Vivec book: "While Vivec was practicing his gigantic form, Molag Bal came out of Nowhere, captured and raped him. Vivec then fell in love with Molag Bal, and the two had thousands of children together." From what I can figure out, the Daedra Lords have interchangeable genders. They are untrustworthy even in their anatomy. Even Azura, who's supposed to be on your side, sends her messengers (Winged Twilights) after you.
  10. Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to the Outworld we go.
  11. Vivec is a great big douche, but he's helpful.
