I have got it working i changed the compatabililty to xp sp2. Thank yuo for the help.

I have installed uninstalled reinstalled Oblivion and CS. I have given both programs Admin Rights. I still cannot edit or create a NPC I go to tthe npc cration and the cs Freezes. I edit an Existing NPC ad change the Form id and i go to save and it says it saves but at the top next to the file name it still has an asterik meaning it did not save. I go to close the cs and i get a message that asks me to save the Plugin file it says Yes NO Or cancel and the only way i can close cs is CTRL+ALT+DElETE and shutdown the proccess evrything else works fine EXCEPT the NPC creation/Edit Screen PLease Help i have tried evrything

Hello i have been working extnsivaly with my mod i am creating i just need help with the following things before i release it
-An arena where players enter and are challegned by 3-12 people each time they enter THe combantants are kiled not knocked uncouncsouse (I believe that you could do this scripting but i do not have the skills needed i would love to learn) I could use the help if any has the time needed to create this you will be credited. Although i would pprefer a little guidance on creating as i want to learn myself basically what i want is a Training area with hostiles that respawn evrytime you enter or perhaps when you hit an object it brings up a screen where you pick how many to fight against??
If any body has any good linkd=s to questing tutorials could you please post them here I mena besides the ones found at http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Main_Page

Okay i have created my mod and i need to know how to merge it with another mod that i used to help create. What i mean is wheni creted my mod i used TLS Mannequins to aid in the process it Has both an .esm and an .esp i was wondering if i could merge them. When i try to merge them in CS i get them merged and then evrything works fine ecxpet my treansportation spell that i use to get to travek to the world space. I have also tryed to use tes4Gecko and i go to click on the .exe found inside and my computer freezes and everyody is talking about a .jar file in which i do not have. WHat i am asking is if anybody knows of a way to combine my.esp with another .esp and an .esm or if i have to package them together uncombined
I almost forgpt anybody know of any reason why when i try to creat a NPC in CS my program freezes and quits. I have never had that happen before it just started recently since i reinstalled it. Anybody know why??

Hey, Im an idiot, Ill say that from the start. Can someone run me through setting up FCOM+MMM+OOO+FRAN+WARCRY?
Ive tried several times now and...well, its failing to work. My Oblivion just...crashes to desktop at the Bethesda Splash screen...no errors or anything.
It would be greatly appreciated.
First we have a couple of questions
- Are you using OBMM OR WRYE BASH?
- Are you using BOSS?
- What is the load order?
Please Post Back what the BOSS(BETTER OBLIVION SORTING SOFTWARE) says just copy and paste it here and we will then have a better idea of how to fix this. FCOM is really hard to work with i have got everything installed i am missing Meshes For an example of what i am looking for Refer to Example of what i am looking for

Here is what i was able to find out with the form finder 99% of all the missing meshes where Chests and crates with id's like 0051D6D and 0015985B and 0049311 but all of them had the script 03003D6C attached to them the crates where the same except no script all crates where 00000000. There is a few icons missing like i am missing a couple of spell icons and Petty soul gems have no icon. So Could somebody please advise should i copy some meshes from my other computers vanilla oblivion over and see if i can fix it or what should I do??

for mising meshes (yellow crystals are the games marker for a missing mesh) can't really help unless I know some specific item names that are missing but, you can use FormID finder (somewher around nexus), to find out what mod it comes from and then reinstall the resources.

If you got the game of the year edition you got 2 dvds the first installed Oblivion and the second installed KOTN and Shivering Isles. The only Dlcs included with GOTY is knights of the Nine and shivering isles. The other dlcs that come with the knights of the nine are seperate from the GOTY version.(NOT included)

This is an observation on my part but i have had nothing but trouble with Alternative Start by Robert Evrae.esp every time i go to begin the game it crashes or i go to sleep on the bed. Other than that i could not tell you

Okay i am working on my first mod and what i am trying to do is create a whole new world for the player...
First off: this is none of my business. So feel free to ignore my advice. That said...
Ever since the game came out, I've seen perhaps one "with my first mod, I will remake the whole game" notice per month, either here, or (mostly) in the Bethsoft mod forums. Not a single one has ever come to fruition. Perhaps two world remaker mods have been finished, but by large teams of experienced modders, working together for at least a year or more.
All I'm doing is suggesting you might want to start with something a little less...all-encompassing, such as a detailed house mod with plenty of personal touches. Or, if you're especially ambitious, a village, with merchants and quests.
But this is entirely up to you, and I wish you the best of luck, regardless.
I did not communicate well enough what i meant by whole new world is a world space. If you mod you know what a world space is. All i am doing is creating a world space with a village a forest and a couple of ither stuff youwill find out when released.

Okay i am working on my first mod and what i am trying to do is create a whole new world for the player i have most of it complete but my main objective was to set up a huge open hall with all sorts of display cases and mannequins. Now here's the problem i was going to use Reznods mannequins but he has not been seen on the forum sine '06 Now i was wondering if anybody had the means of getting ahold of him so i could ask permission to use his mod and incorporate it in mine. Now here's a question if i cannot get ahold of him would it be ethical and allright to use his mod anyway. Or should i try to find a different way to add mannequins. Any ideas for different mannequin mods that i could contact the creator to ask permision.

If you are running Oblivion on Windows XP Media Center Edition or Windows Vista, and an infrared remote receiver is plugged in, your console may not function properly. In order to restore its functionality, unplug the receiver for your Media Center Remote. This will allow you to use the console, as the receiver interferes with Oblivion's programming. Additionally, a built-in infrared receiver on laptops can cause the same issue and disabling it in the Device Manager has proven to fix the console function. Alternatively, a Ring of Console mod has been created to circumvent this problem. I am trying to learn all about the quest window and what the varouse buttons. Some of the quests are confusing,. Basically i am looking or any tutorial that will teach scripting or questing bessides Constructions set wiki.
Bethesda Quests might serve as a could example.Until now I haven't found too many quest tutorials.

Hi i no absolutely nothignabout scripting and tutorials i have tried ot follow the tutorials and just can tso i am asking for a kittle bit of help. Here is what i have for my questi can provide images found here HEre
I do not know what i a doing wrong when i go to talk to my created NPC all i get is dialuge for Knighst fo the nine not mine. I Akso need helpo with a sscript where the NPCs will attacj the player on site
