  1. Ok just want to make sure thanks for answering me. Update: I just installed the Nif scripts and and 2.1.11 version of PyFFl and it still doesn't give me the option of importing .nif files. Is there something on this link that I'm not doing right in terms of installing: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12248/?
  2. I checked the link you mentioned neomonkeus and I assume that the version I should give a shot is the 2.1.11 version? Sorry if that sounded like a dumb question to you I just want to be sure. Edit: I just noticed that I misspelled you're username by mistake.
  3. To LFact: Sorry what I meant to say was that version 2.6.0 of Python wasn't having any issues with Blender 2.49b on one of my previous posts. It says I need a more recent version of PyFFI in order to run the Blender NIF scripts. So what version do I need that will work with Blender 2.49b?
  4. To Legotrash: I thought only Blender 2.49b was the only acceptable version? To LFact: I looked at what was in the package and it contained a version of python (2.6.6) and that version doesn't want to work with me. However, I do have version 2.6.0 and my computer did have an issue with it. So I was wondering if having version 2.6.0 will still be ok with the package that you suggested?
  5. I followed the instructions that was on the link that I posted in the beginning of this thread and one part of the instructions was the following: Install NIF Scripts Source: SourceForge.net (download from SourceForge only if you want to experiment with new versions) 1. Run blender_nif_scripts-2.5.5-windows.exe 2. Welcome - Click Next 3. License Agreement - Click I Agree 4. Choose Install Location - Click Next to accept default of C:\Apps\Blender\.blender\scripts 5. Choose Documentation Location - Change from C:\Program Files\NifTools\Blender NIF Scripts to C:\Apps\NifTools\Blender NIF Scripts 6. Installation Complete - Click Next 7. Setup Complete - Click Finish 8. Review the Readme and then close the file.
  6. Hello I'm a new member on the forums and I decided to try making my own weapon mods for Elder Scrolls 4. However I've run into a problem involving importing .nif files in blender that a good majority probably know how to solve this. I followed the instructions on how to installing NIF scripts over here on this link: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12248/? When I went to look to see if Blender can import .nif files the option wasn't there. If there's a topic that has the answer to this problem then it would be nice to see it.
