  1. Hey guys, been playing rdr2 on console with my brother for years but was wanting to start playing it on my gaming pc but was looking for an easy way to 100% control the weather to your like in a little interface or something, like I've been doing when playing much more skyrim again on pc in recent years as there are numerous weather control mods available so I can make it stormy all of the time. Most recent one I've been using for a few year now is just a little book in-game that you whip out and select weather options that stay on for the playthrough until you change it. Really helps as a pluviophile to be able to have that instant anxiety and ptsd relief at will and it changes the gameplay up in interesting ways too. I was reading up here about a few methods to do something similar but all of it seems like a bit of a far reach for a technologically inept soul like myself. I also used various weather patterns and intensities / rain, thunder and lightning density as well as volume mixer sliders for thunder vs rain and droplets sounds etc but doesn't have to be that detailed & immersive. Would it be too much of a time consuming hassle for someone with code / mod knowledge & experience here to Please, please impliment a similar tool designed with the sole function of fully controlling the weather in red dead 2? It really wouldn't even need to be anywhere near that complex, just an interface with the ability to choose a weather type to stay that way until you change it with a few minimal customization options for storm/General weather variety would be more than sufficient. This would be a literal, admittedly pathetic dream come true for me, as I've racked up a few thousand hours too many of wet skyrim which is the only game that I get 100% enjoyment out of as it's always dark and stormy just how I like it, just not the same as having rain & storm sounds in the background as just playing skyrim with a dedicated weather control tool. But, more than any other game, I would love to experience the beauty of this game and it's glorious weather at it's personal best, on my pc, with mods. I'd get thousands and thousands of hours of relaxing, therapeutic, reinvigorated gameplay and i am sure at least a handful of the rdr2 mod community will also be appreciative and make regular handy use of such a tool. Thanks guys, I've actually got my fingers and toes crossed. ðâ Cheers
  2. Nevermind. fixed it by going back to a save 20 hours behind my current one. Thanks for all the help guys.............................
  3. http://postimg.org/image/h99wn7fmr/ Basically I'm doing the quest where you recover the elder scroll, I transcribed the lexicon and crap and revealed the elder scroll. But I didn't pick it up, I went and finished a bunch of other quests first cos I didn't even realise the scroll was there at first. My problem is that I've gone back to Mzark (Or whatever it is) tower and the elder scroll is there in the sphere thing, So I pick it up, and nothing happens... The scroll disappears and the objective "Retrieve the elder scroll" is still in the quest details, and the quest marker is also still there. I've tried searching all over and can't find a fix for this bug, so I'm hoping one of you guys knows what I've encountered so I can continue playing my game, if not I'm just gonna throw my computer onto the motorway and start throwing my own feces at people. Thanks in advance guys.
  4. Hey mate, I'm 99.9% sure it is the Unofficial Skyrim patch doing this. If you have the "Dragonborn" DLC, then I can guarantee that is your problem. Download the rest of the unoffical patches and it will fix it http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31083/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23491/? There is also one for hearthfire but I doubt that one is required http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25127/
  5. Sorry, but bumping this thread. Need my skyrim fix for the day and refuse to play when this bullshit is happening.
  6. Hey guys, thanks in advancce for taking the time to read this. I have been putting up with this horrid crap for a couple of weeks now and I just can't do it anymore. It's honestly ruining my game experience. Here is a very short video I made showing a bit of the problem. youtu.be/0uHz1DouFOU It might be hard to see in the video, but often I find the mountains and trees in the distance 'flicker'. And there's also sometimes a trippy as rainbow glitch thing that pops up as shown in a couple of frames on the video, but i'll post a screenshot here too. postimg.org/image/wq2hqb9hb/ Not sure if both problems are related, but the rainbow crap only happens when the terrain is flickering. At first I thought it might be the enhanced distant terrain mod, but I have already deleted the noise.dds file, and it does not stop the rancid, eye-raping glitchiness. What could be doing this? Here's a screenshot of the other Landscape and terrain mods I am using. postimg.org/image/m5nytzflr/
