  1. I'm sorry Overlord1977 that I didn't respond sooner. I really appriciate u trying to help me...I have Vista with service pack 1 and 2 and have 3 gigs of ram...I have quad pentium 4 working at 9.2 ggs...I have the highest commericial graphics card Nividia puts out I believe...9200 gd. I've tried to download(and have work!) probably at least 50-60 mods from Nexus for Fallout3 and Oblivion and have only got 2 to work...(Up from one...I forgot about another I got working...) Both were for Oblivion. Whenever I try to download a mod there is always a hangup...take the Elsweyr expantion for Oblivion...there are 4 parts to download. Well...I downloaded all parts then when I went to extract It said that 2 were already extracted??? I never tried to download this mod before today.
  2. Fomm doesn't need to be put into a fallout file...It seems to work fine in the download file...though it doesn't help much there...Is that my problem? Should I have it in Fallout?
  3. This game sucks in every way except for the storyline and character creation...It seems they went for that aspect and said the heck with everything else...U can't go back, every battle u get into seems the same except for a few "special" battles...and bosses. U get crammed into a few small areas for quests...U actually have to pay for extra quests midstream after paying 50$ for the game! That blows chow in my book. If Bioware want's to make extra money, expand the game "after" it has proven itself...
  4. Well of course! If u don't put fomm here..If u don't put such and such in the data files under a such and such file that doesn't exist...If u don't change 0 to 1 on a file that doesn't exist... If u don't do this and that...so on and so forth...doesn't happen...Same old story! I got nowhere doing everything in the name of improving fallout which is a myth unless u twist your comp into a big prezel after u complety destroy your sanity... I have tried everything and got nothing...someone prove me wrong...Bben...prove me wrong.
  5. Thnx everyone!I have downloaded the files. I think the problem is that both games are in program files... I thought that I moved both of them but there they are in program files again. I think my computer hates me. Let me try to get them out of there again and I will get back to u.
  6. Yeah...and like yesterday...that went over like a fly in the ointment...Just tell me the steps to download mods for Fallout3 and Oblivion and quit "jerking" me around! I'm sure my comp isn't that different than yours as I said...I have Vista with the service pack 1 and 2...Everything else I have is compatable...
  7. I'm done with Nexus. Completely DONE! I got no help...no explanations...Downloaded 1 out 53 mods to my success...Help is nonexistant... begging...I will not do. I'm guessing this is just a big joke! You have gotten more than a half dozen offers of help, plus instructions on how to post so that you can be helped, and you've ignored all of them so far. If you are serious about wanting help, then stick to one thread, and describe in detail exactly what operating system you are using, where you installed Oblivion and Fallout 3, and at what point you had trouble. Until you can install the mods and understand how they work, a premium membership is not going to be of much use. -myrmaad
  8. Ahhh well, it doesn't matter... how can I make fomm run when it seems to end itself...
  9. I have tried to download 50ish mods for both Oblivion and Fallout 3 and got only one to work. I have the Oblivion download manager and fomm and I'm still denide.Do I need to pay Nexus to get the mods working?
  10. Thanx for your offer of help! :) I think that Nexus is looking for a monitary donation for most of the downloads that I want for Fallout 3... and Oblivion in retrospect. I would pay if I felt that they would actually work... The same with FilePlanet...They offer downloads but nothing works.
  11. Yeah...that didn't work unless I want a shampoo from Nexus.
  12. I was told to come here to make a thread by what I assume to be a Nexus GM... I have tried maybe 20 mods for Oblivion and maybe 15 mods for Fallout3. I got 1 to work for Oblivion. The one I wanted the least. I assumed that they all would work because Nexus said they should. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to bribe someone?
