Craft/upgrade multiple copies simultaniously
andiders replied to andiders's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Couldn't find a mod for this, but did find a console command that helped me. All you need is two containers. Put the items you want duplicated in container 1. When in the command console (tilde) you press container 2 and get the ID (usually something similar to "FF00213") Remember the ID (I just write it in the command console) and press container 1. Now just type "duplicateallitems <ID of container 2>" and repeat until you have the amount you want. I hope I didn't make it to hard to understand. Atleast now, my guards will have matching outfits. -
I have failed to find a mod that does this. But I would love a mod that let me apply the same upgrades to a full stack, not just one individually. So let's say I have five metal armors, I wanna give all five "shadowed", i could then do it to the "stack" and not only a single copy of said armor. And if you're wondering why I wanna make multiple identical armors/weapons... Settlements. My guards should all have matching sets of armors and weapons, making 20 copies of each piece of armor and weapon is extremely time consuming.

Something I have looked for long is a mod that add more immersion to settlements. Mainly with more jobs. I know there's mods that add the ability for settlers to use workbenches and such. But that's not enough. I would love a mod that makes a bit more sense. And more immersion. So let's list some examples. 1. Shady back alley drug dealer Maybe a rug as the trading stand, and he would only deal in drugs. Not like the doctor, but just drugs and shady wares. 2. Ladies of the night Beds used as workstations, were prostitutes can work. I know there's a mod that does this calling it "wh*%# beds" but they work like regular beds, and settlers assigned will only be there at night. Should be like a work station for settlers. And it could add happiness of course. 3. Settler factory benches Basically workbenches, were you assign settlers to produce various items. Could be clothing, armor, weapons, ammo, drugs etc. 4. Beggars Markers that add settlers as beggars. They can sit on the ground just looking miserable as hell. 5. Preachers A job marker that add preachers, who can preach the different new "religions". Children of Atom etc. He would stand and unassigned settlers could be drawn to him 6. Strippers A pole were settler can be assigned to dance more or less. Great for the more shady taverns and inns. Some ideas of many. Know there's mod that does similar things. But not well enough in my opinion. Would love the more jobs etc to assign settlers to just to give it more personality, make it less plain and boring.

There's already a few sorting mods for the misc category etc. But haven't found one for weapons or armor. One thing I really would like is if it renamed all variations of the same armor so the armor type comes first. Leather armor, shadowed, deep pocketed Raider armor, lead lined Or put them in brackets. [Metal armor] ultralight Just so all leather armors are in one place, all raider armors etc. Same for weapons. No more mess of pipe rifles, shotguns and snipers all over.

In theory, it doesn't sounds so hard to make more of the Shadw casting lights act simultaniously. It's just above my capabilities.

I'm an amateur when it comes to modding. I've made two homes in the CK. And making these homes made me realize something annoying. The fact you can only have 4 shadow-castng lights on at the same time. I would love a mod that change that. If it's possible. Having to see the lights going on and off is annoying like hell...

I've found loads of new idles and such, but none in which you force your character to use them whenever you want. I don't want to change any idles, I want to use them
-
I've searched anything I could think of. But I can't find a single mod where I can force my character (the one I'm playing as) to perform an idle. I'm planning on making a Youtube Skyrim series, and I need my character to do some of the idles. No mods for that found. Can someone make one, or direct to to an existing one/tutorial on how to force your character to it. I'm talking about sit on ground, laying down, maybe drink or warm on the fire. All existing idles but performed by my character.

So, I'm about too finish upp the exterior of my home I'm making, but have a problem. Grass. I want it gone. I changed the landscape a little, and now grass floats in the air, even after closing CK and reloading it. I want some of the grass gone totally, because it clips inte my smithing anvil thingy too. How do I do? I can't seem too find the terrain painter or whatever it's called, I tried landscape editor, heightmap etc, nowhere, and I read grass are suppossed too disappear if you paint another ground texture without grass. But nothing. And I can't find anything on Google nor tutorial on the Tube of You (Youtube) Please help. And another thing I am wonder about, but not as important. I got a trollskull I want too make Static, how can I do that?
-
So, I'm finishing up som details on my new house, and I want too make a decoration above one of the doors, using an misc object, is there anyway too make it static? I have set it too nor havok settle, but I want too make it impossible too pick up as an ordinary object. How do I do?

I need help, badly. I got an house mod I've made which I plan on adding NPCs to. The problem is, I can't make them. When trying to review my NPC this occurs: http://i.imgur.com/SijtD.png Tried atleast 15 different races and so on. Creature, beast, human... Nothing. What to do? EDIT: When trying to do anything, CK stops responding, no matter how long I wait for it too respond, NOTHING!
-
So I'm all new to modding, and decided too do NPCs for my newest home. The problem is that when I make a new NPC, choose new ID, name, set to unique etc, when I choose "Preview", my screen literally gets filed with windows sayng something like "Assert"BBsshades" bla bla line 803" and when I click anything, CK stops responding. I can't close the windows or press any button. Literally hundreds of them popup. What the hell do I do?
-
I know, but this is a small part I gotta navmesh this way. Is there any way to bypass the cellborder thing?
-
I got a problem Navmeshing my new home in Skyrim. It's the exterior and the problem is, when I choose three dots, and press A, nothing happens. It's a boat placed in Solitude docks if that is of any help at all...

Just uploaded my first mod. How do I make it possible to download with NMM?
-
Thanks a lot! Very soon, after my alpha test of the house, I'll release it! Exterior looks terrible, interior is good considering it's my first creation in CK!
-
So, I'm doing the last of the interior of my first house, so what's left? Navmesh of course. I've placed quite a few idle markers for NPSs, my question is, will they interact with furniture such as benches and beds, even though the navmesh don't cover that area, or do I have too cover the ground under beds, chairs and benches for NPCs too actually use them? No tutorials I find answer this! So please Nexus forums, help me, you've been so helpful this far!
-
Well, doing that, I found out it was just searching for "decal" and a bunch of blood textures appeared which you can "spray". Thanks for answer.
-
But sometimes you come across bloody tables or "torture benches" and areas where creatures have been killing others, and there you find blood textures as well, and they are always there, and there are no specific model with premade blood on the textures. Why can't I do the same on a table?
-
I thought you could just add the blood textures on objects, the same way it does in game when you get slashed or slash an enemy. Instead of having to do a retexture. Isn't that possible?
-
I am making a house in CK, my first ever mod and first time using CK. Right now I am making a kitchen for my house, but I need to know how to add blood to a table. It's a table with uncooked meat, So I figured some blood would make it look better and more realistic. Please forums, you have helped me so far!

Does that work when I've done so much of the house with Skyrim/UPDATE.esm as masters? It doesn't change anything? Should work, if your CK can load Hearthfire that is. I haven't been able to open Hearthfire in CK for some time now, but I think I've seen thread about fixing that, I just haven't done it myself yet. But aye, adding new master file later shouldn't cause issues. What I thought would be an issue would be switching masterfiles. Because I can't open Hearthfire and Skyrim at the same time, and since all I've done so far is with Skyrim and update as master, I thought that could conflikt the mod...

So, I am making a house in CK. I'm totally new to modding and does now wonder how to use Heartfire contant in my house. As master files I use Skyrim.esm and update.esm. How do I get the Heartfire content in CK?
-
That sounds like a possibility. Thanks!
