  1. perfection. this is great. i shall begin working on it tonight Thank you for the detailing, it is greatly appreciated, as a writer i have a rough idea of what i want something to look like but implementing it into a 2d or 3d form without a guide to follow proves far more difficult\than describing it in writing.
  2. the stilettoes are going to be equipable, im talking with a friend who is foing to assist me with a custom animation to draw them from a concealed location (boots) as for the slashin animations it is a limitation that i have but is not a big one the axe is described a single head with a oak handle, the axe head is large enough to stop and divert sword thrusts from stronger individuals. oak handle
  3. Stilettos are cross hilt dagger like weapons designed with a tapered edge for thrusting. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stiletto They can be fixed blade or of the switchblade style though for the purpose of this book lets go with medieval style fixed blade
  4. So this isnt a request for someone to make a mod for me, but rather to help me come up with some concept art for a mod that i am working on, This mod is to be based off a book i have been writing features a pair of female assassins. The weapons they use asre realistic and practical but can be ornate The first of the pair Elizabeth is an Archer, who uses a Long bow, an axe, and a pair of stilettos. (all of her weapons are made of oak or have oak handles) she uses three kinds of arrows, hunting broad heads, Barbed bodkins And jagged forked arrows. The second, Cordelia Uses a short sword and bow with the same arrows listed above. Im looking for some simple concept art to bring these to life in skyrim for the two companions i have planned. (possibly a quest at a later date) Im open to all forms of idea's so please just sketch away and ill pick some designs to begin modeling, upon completion you will be credited for your work so feel free to sketch to thy hearts content!
  5. Because of the hard coding in skyrim and the fact its not (yet) a 64 bit program, Anything above 4GB of ram is moot, however if you overclock your ram to a high clock speed you can prossess more scripting quicker. The best thing you could do is to ensure ur GPU and CPU are both working the best they can without over stressing them. overclocking both will yeild good results however as the person above me said, going with the newer gens of AMD hardware would be a good idea. I myself picked up a r9 390X for less than the average GTX 960 and i am running 2k and sometimes 4k graphics with no frame loss. just make sure you have adequate VRAM with a good clock speed. Also your I5 might be bottle necking you a little, depending on if you can get it to clock a little faster. (nothing against the I5's) but ive had good luck with stability on both I7's and the AMD 8350. just my two cents.
  6. there are several "compilations mods" out currently such as Armonizer, immersive armors, and the like, compiled of some of the best mods of their respective categories. sadly we are lacking character creation compilations of similar repore namely hair compilations, eye compilations, and warpaint/facepaint compilations.
  7. im sure im not the only person who has gone through every file on the nexus several times. and im sure all of us have hit the dreaded 255 before....... so given that all of us use multiple hair mods, multiple warpaint mods, multiple weapons mods, multiple followers of the same body style. why not begin merging some of the 40 thousand mods on the nexus, into ultimate compilations, take the most popular of each group and merge them using the Tes 5 edit script in such a way that it takes what some people have 5-10 mods of and turns it into a single esp. naturally this is a large undertaking and would require getting the approval of each author involved but a massive compilations would be able to effectively increase the total number of mods a person can use while still maintaining a stable skyrim.
  8. me and a small group of friends are planning to work on a project to make a world inside of skyrim "similar" to the world presented in the anime SAO. any help anyone would be willing to donate to the project to make it better or add personal touches would be greatly appreciated. what we need- texture artists mappers modelers voice actors scriptors i understand that this is a large undertaking however due to the popularity of that anime combined with the lack of mods related to it inspired this group to work on it little by little, weapons inspired from the anime will be created, a new massive dungeon that will take weeks to beat (hopefully) AWESOME CUSTOM LOOT, nothing too overpowered. Difficulty scales from the beginning of the dungeon to the end, meaning anyone can start this but only the dedicated will complete it. adding multiple towns with custom npc's companions shop and quests adding homes that can be baught upgraded and maintained. anyone interested in joining this small team please feel free to let us know :D
  9. i was surprised to see this not done as well, i gave up on trying to get someone to make it, still i would love to see this in game
  10. so this is what i get when trying to run SKSE :/ as you can tell it is installed in the right area yet it does not pick up the TES5.exe...... any idea what would cause this? http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn66/trebor_the_armbreaker/dahell.png
  11. its been a few years since i have modded oblivion, decided to get back into modding. unfortunatly im a bit rusty, i was wondering if there is anyone out there willing to take me under thire wing and help remind/teach me how to mod skyrim. i have 3ds max. CK photoshop cs3. on a side note i also seem to have a problem installing the skyrim script extender.... help on that would rock too. thanks Robertkor

  13. Hello members of the Nexus community, i am working on a mod for my fiance (who is getting into the game when she gets her laptop) anyhow im looking to see if i can get someone who would be willing to make some stone brocks for me. some large, some small and some flat, for the flat ones (used to make a floor for a interior https://d1ij7zv8zivhs3.cloudfront.net/assets/5153445/lightbox/SA-Deep%20Teal%20Marble%20Tile1.jpg?1330258359 for a texture. black and teal marble. for the larger sized ones, they will be used to make a majority of walls involved on this mod. http://www.fmarble.com/marble-tiles/gc-white-marble-tiles.jpg https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRnhCtl71Xlyd4NXno2iCiXqNwXybJyGzUwuVeTOZoFBd0aumT7pQ https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTgTF7lo64SMLdtw9j-EPI4xsNxUM9ZWs0ZdPwcxy0Te7Lukxe2 s stated before these will be used for a wall and in game would need to be 2 feet by 3 feet. (in gme size that is) i would apreciate this greatly if someone would make these, slightly rounded edges prefferably on the wall blocks. thank you in advance
  14. because once you smelt a ingot its a lot harder to melt it. the thicker a metal is the longer and harder it takes to reach a melting point.
