  1. I think spending 5 minutes is far, far too long. I put my head under the faucet in the morning, towel it off for about 10 seconds, then comb it. Done. Any more than that, and it's wasting time.
  2. Smart phones are mobile devices, thanks for the redundancy, Wiki guy (; If they are ok with it, why not have a "Continue to Wikipedia" link or something, that lets you get past the page? Either way, it's their website, they can do with it as they please, whether they want to protest a bill or whatever, that's their right. (For now  )
  3. First of all, your scam isn't a scam. It's just supply and demand at work. Re-naming that ship to the higher tier version, and selling it as such to some unsuspecting noob, THAT is a scam. One I once fell for. But I bounced back. Never seen pirates in high-sec? I have, until my ship exploded. No, they don't just gank random people. I ran a far too high contract for the ship I was in, and paid the price, to the tune of about 600 million isk. It left me with about 200 million isk in assets, and that soured me on the game, to where I stopped doing contracts, and retreated to a wormhole to do PI exclusively. In fact, the political drama that resulted from my being ganked by a player from a known pirate corp was enough to make me question why I bother playing. I've just recently finally quit, as my friends no longer play, and it lost it's appeal months ago.
  4. Go to Google. Search for your term you want to find on Wikipedia. Click on "cached" link. Like, for instance, if you wanted to read about Newt Gingrich. No, for now, you cannot edit or see more recently edited pages. And bypassing the blackout is in a way ignoring the problem they see on the horizon. But, if you're looking for something, just remember that Google does have cached pages of a LOT of stuff, so you can probably find it, even if it's outdated by a few hours.
  5. Why would anyone want half the mods on here? They just want to experience the game differently for whatever reason. Some of the mods I see people request basically don't even seem to fit, in my opinion, in the game's setting...but there's no reason NOT to do it, if that's what you want.
  6. Personally, I think compound bows have no business in the game, and I find them to be ugly. But, it's a mod, and to each their own.
  7. I have an unlocked Phenom II X2 (so B50, quad core also) that is running at 3.1ghz, same RAM, better video card (4870). I have short load times, though I can't compare those instances, as I'm not to them in the game. I assume it has to do with the video card, but I don't know how yours compares...lower number, I assume it's a lesser card, pretty simple. Since you're planning a video card upgrade, I think that should solve your loading times. But then again, could be in the hard drive, I don't know. Mine isn't especially fast, so I don't see how that would be the main problem for you.
  8. I know how you feel, but a while ago, I was similarly forced to use right-handed controls. Some game developers don't think about letting you adjust ANY keys. I use WASD movement in games now every bit as naturally as I did before with the arrow keys. Try it for a bit, once you get used to it, it eliminates much of the hassle of re-mapping keys in every game. I still use the mouse left-handed, but I use my right hand on the keyboard.
  9. I'd also like to have the option of playing left-handed. I think it has contributed to my playing archers and mages mostly, because those are for the most part indistinguishable in first person view. 10% of the population is left-handed...I'm surprised actually that more aren't interested in the option.
