Thanks for responding! I took a break from trying to fix it for a bit, but i can get npc's to equip the armor, but it looks exactly like one of the armors i took some mesh parts from instead of the one i made, i'm thinking it's a mix of both 2 & 3.

Okay after some more hours of searching topics on forums I figured out how to get the geck to load the nif when I set it to the armor, but now when I go to equip the armor in game I immediately ctd ;_;

The armor NIF is a mashup of some other armors I have and is only for personal use, but I am a newb to creating meshes so if anyone can possibly help it'd be great. I've done all that I can think of and have seen in the topics I've looked up that are similar to this one, though I might have missed something. All I did was take specific parts of one armor and added them to another base mesh, i made sure that the only NiNodes under the base are at the bottom of the list and I'm sure they are for the skeletal structure IIRC. IIRC you can't take images and other stuff from one game and put them into another game, due to some legal restriction or something. Also the skyrim engine is completely different than the other engines, so it's nearly impossible to make a mod for New Vegas with the Skyrim Creation Kit since the Skyrim creation kit is based around the Skyrim engine. Hi! I'm making a mod to create basically a sawn-off version of the caravan shotgun, but i need help with making the mesh and texture cause frankly i suck at all of it and the tutorials confuse me and don't work :( If anyone thats good at this kinda stuff can help that'd be great :D If you're interested please respond.
