Looks like there is a step by step guide on Star Citizens official forums for extracting the models from their game. From what I am reading it looks like this process gets all the texture data and is flexible enough to export to any model editor. Once the Starfield Script Extender and official mod tools are released I intend to take a shot at it. I may not be able to upload to the Nexus because such a mod would likely violate some policies on art-theft. But hey; even if I can't upload a functioning mod too the nexus, it would be nice to play a functioning game with ships I spent thousands of dollars on.
