  1. MShoap, thanks for posting that. I'm a little lost, though I think I followed most of what you said. Where exactly do you suggest I start in the settings? And Slayerpaul, does anything from what MShoap posted ring any bells?
  2. As in something within one of the ENB files? Any tips, clues, ideas on what it might be if you can remember? Or at least to get me on the path?
  3. So, I am not going to bore you all with a wall of text going on about nothing. Here is the issue: the WEIRDEST graphical glitch I've seen. I have no idea how to fix it, I've never seen it before, googling answers turned up nothing. I honestly don't even know how to describe it. What I can say is it at actually looks directional. Meaning the glitch shows up when moving in a certain direction when looking at the flora of the world. What I've done and what I narrowed it down to: I did a full uninstall, started the game fresh with no mods, and no problems. One by one I turned my mods on until they all were on, and, no problems. Then I go and put my ENB in and that's when it happened. Before the uninstall, I had this issue. Taking all the ENB files OUT still did not fix it, except I'm almost certain I did not take out the d3d9.dll. So now, after an uninstall and all mods in WITHOUT this issue, I throw in my ENB files including d3d9.dll and this happens. I think the problem is specific to to that d3d9.dll file, but I could be wrong. Yes my GPU drivers are up to date Yes Direct X is up to date So without further yammering, here it is: ( Most noticeable at the :45 mark. Look at the grass.   4. Zack, how's things going with this? Or just the idea in general? I had to do a search in this forum before posting the topic as I was sure it would have already been posted, and I was right. I knew I wasn't alone in the thought of playing a 2H character but being unable to cast while holding the weapon. In fact, I still kind of can't believe a mod for this hasn't happened yet, it's kind of shocking. I hope it doesn't take the 1 year anniversary special of the game to produce this mod. I mean I rather get it later than never, but it's still surprising to see it hasn't been done yet.
  5. I can do the stuff I need to in the CS to make it a 1H weapon, but I don't know anything about Nifskpe and changing nodes to make all the animations work and such. So, yeah if someone has a bit of time and could do this it'd be awesome. Thanks.
  6. So I had this idea last night when laying in bed (when all the best ideas are had) and I thought it would be a freaking AWESOME mod. Pretty sure it wouldn't require anything other then some scripting. Even then, I think most of it would be with existing scripts as well. Mostly, I just want to get an idea of how difficult this would be. I posted a picture and a video so far about a Bard I made, and he's a bard because of the Playable Instruments mod. All it does though, is once you equip the instrument, you play a 15, 20 second instrumental ditty, raise your Speech and maybe get some gold. My idea was to take what MGStein did with his and make it go a bit further and make it like an actual Bard in most MMO's and RPG. When you equip an instrument, immediately after leaving your inventory page or favorites menu (if it's favorited) a pop up appears, could be like a page from a book. On it is listed the normal instrumental songs that you would normally have just done with the Playable Instruments. You'd select these when you're in crowds or public places. But other options listed would be things like... Inspiring Word Song of Scourge The heroes hymn Etc. What these "songs" do, is as soon as they are selected the page goes back and you are in game and you essentially cast some sort of Alteration or Restoration spell. All of these would be an AoE so it affects you, your companion and any other followers you have. So be it a group heal, or buff, or... an AoE Fear or Calm, that would effect enemies. Each spell would be just like if you were casting it and it would raise that skill and certain "songs" could only be used when you hit the appropriate level in Alteration or Restoration. I think this would be such an amazing mod. The scripting involved would really be to initiate that popup upon equip, and then to initiate the "cast" once selected. making all the spells act as an AoE isn't that hard, I could probably do that. It would be a matter of just creating a new spell and literally copying what say, Courage does, and then pasting it and making it an AoE. It would then just need to be attached to the script. The only other thing I could see that we would need to do that may not be script related, it to shorten to playing animation of the instruments. For the instrumental songs in front of crowds, it's fine as is. But in battle, when using one of the songs, I think it should be 3 seconds or so. The effect would be immediate, as in as soon as you selected the song, but you can't be standing around either. One strum on the loot, one tap on the drum and then that would be it. Animation is over, you equip your weapon and go fight. So thoughts, comments, advice? Scripters... how hard would something like this actually be? TL:DR: Equipping instruments and then choosing "songs" that allow you to do AoE Alteration and Restoration spells

Now I tried doing this myself first but talking with the guys in the chat I soon realized that modding in Skyrim is much more involved than what I am experienced with. What I can say is that in NifSkope, Iorveths armor (the one with the skirt/robe bottom) is a whole unit and will most likely need to be broken down in Blender then exported out. At least this is what I was told, so... I can understand if the process is a bit to much for someone but, I really would love to have this mod and I have nothing to loose by asking. So, pretty please?
  8. Ok Buddah, I'm I clicked chat and as soon as it opened it says "You have been kicked from the chat room" I have it opened in a separate tab though. Not sure if it would help you troubleshoot at all. Also, just tried sending you a PM in the chat, and it open ups a separate tab, but it displays no dialog.
  9. That's interesting. Thanks for getting back so quickly. As far as connectivity issues, I don't think I'm having any? I'm on Skype atm as well as just goofing off in SWTOR and neither of these programs are dropping me out. And the notification is pretty much immediate. I hit chat and it's just right there "You've been kicked". If it is connectivity, what can I do? Because from all points of view, my connectivity is fine. :-/
  10. I tried using the chat, but every time I go in it says I am kicked out? I haven't used the chat room for a few months and every time I have been, it's always been pleasant. I've never argued or got into an argument or did anything to break any rules, at least none that I know of. Is there anybody, a moderator perhaps, that can look into this for me?
  11. Just wondering how difficult it would be to display weapons when magic is active. I'm a Battlemage type guy, mostly magic but I use a 2H sword when things get too close for comfort. Aesthetically I look way BA with a 2H sword on my back. But when you equip any sort of magic, it removes to physical appearance of any weapons on your character. Just wondering how difficult it would be to have the weapon act almost like arrows, where it's deactive but selected, so it still shows on the back when magic is used. Then when you switch to it, you just use it. The one immediate problem I see this having, is the weapon always being there. Meaning when I do use my sword, it would still look as if it's on my back. But anyways, thoughts?

  14. Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. So here's where we are at right now. Firstly, it was an immediate CTD. The game wouldn't even hit the Bethesda logo. However I found the culprit, it was that I had Harvest Flora checked off for DLC's I don't have. Once deselected, it was taken care of and I could get in the game. However, I know have a whole new bag of problems! Upon getting out into the Imperial City, the first thing I was struck with was that every single NPC had black, soul less little eyes. I did as well, but I had Cernasites Dragon Eyes mod, but I'm not sure if it's that, or what mod is causing the default eyes to be black. After that I saw floating heads with the big WTF!? I'M A MISSING MESH! yellow tag. At this point, I had OOO light running, so what I did is I re-installed OOO but did the full version and deleted and recreated the 1.33 OMOD patch. Once I did that, I went back into the game. Normal soldiers look fine, I go up to the Imperial City center to look at the royal guard; the male version is fine, but the female is missing her whole body. Also, everyone still has black eyes. I did also see one other yellow missing mesh tag. It was above a guards head who was stationary at a City doorway, when I opened the console to click on it, it simply said "Wilderness of Cyrodil" whatever that means. So, after re-installing OOO and using it in full, female royal guard torsos are missing, and I have a missing mesh for "Wilderness of Cyrodiil". This is all so far... I haven't even explored any tombs, caves, or any other cities. All these issues are taking the wind outta my sails :-/ EDIT: I will post a screen of what things look like in Wrye Bash. I used BOSS to try and eliminate any mods running in the same boot order, but, hasn't seemed to work.
