  1. Running nexus as admin and reinstalling each mod has seemed to help.
  2. Well I think I may have figured it out? I ran nexus as the administrator, reactivated all mods, and they all seem to work now.
  3. I'm having trouble getting mods to work. Fallout 4 is up to date 1.10.89.0.1. Nexus is up to date at 65.2. I changed the settings I found online for the Fallout4customs and Fallout4prefs file. I have the plugins.txt file unchecked as read-only. Some mods that aren't esp mods disable each time I start nexus. When starting fallout, it shows my load order of the plugin mods. I ran loot, checked the order and cleaned the files that needed to be cleaned. Starting the game, no mods seem to be working. I'm not sure why and I'm not sure what else to try next.
  4. After installing windows 10 my Skyrim isn't quite messed up but I have a few questions. In NMM the plugin list shows all of my mods and most of them work when running the game now, minus the realvision enb. The issue I'm trying to resolve is the mod list. The mod list is blank and I didn't notice where I had my directory before so I'm not sure where to look to set it up again. Any suggestion? About all I can say is I didn't change it when I first installed NMM over a year ago. I tried setting it to where i found a lot of the mods under the steam folder but it said I couldn't set the directory where the plugins are so I'm not sure where else to look. EDIT: Figured it out. I'll leave this post here because I'm sure something else is going to break lol.
  5. If you recall, I mentioned before that after restarting the computer, sometimes Skyrim works. Well I think I might have figured out why Skyrim crashes. I run xfire generally with my games. Sometimes I boot up my computer, start Skyrim without Xfire and it works properly. I played a bit today, closed the game and opened Xfire, tried to start the game and it crashed. I googled Skyrim crashing with Xfire and apparently it's common. So it might not have been an issue with the game itself afterall. We'll see though. Hopefully this is the answer.
  6. Well there are currently no mods present, the game has been reverted back to vanilla, and it still crashes. The DLC are checked and no mods have ever been installed to alter the DLC. The only thing I do have active, which came from steam, is HighTexturePack 1-3. What is a Bashed patch?
  7. I guess everything is okay using Wrye Bash. Everything is green, though the save files are a more redder color. When I click on a a save line, the Dragonborn and Hearthfires lines are red
  8. Never heard of that program but I can try it.
  9. So I followed the Vanilla guide, I noticed i'm missing the "reslists" folder, but all other folders are intact. DirectX10 folder doesn't have 146 listed, but 196. All other folders had what was required already and didn't need any additional deletions. My Documents/Games/Skyrim did have a few files in it about SKSE and a loader, so I backed up my save games, deleted all files and tried to start the game. I didn't put back my save game before starting. The game still crashed. So outside of the few things I pointed out, I'm not sure what is going on. Verifying the integrity of the game, it is always missing 1 single file. I've googled this and apparently it is very common and isn't necessary to play.
  10. I've uninstalled it twice, redownloaded it twice, and verified the integrity of the files through steam. I'll see what I can find about a vanilla copy and go from there.
  11. I turned off my PC last night, turned it on this morning and tried the game and it worked. Played for 30 minutes, closed the game, and when I decided to come back and play again later it didn't work. Tried to restart with no luck. Still isn't working. I did nothing to the game from when it worked to when it stopped working.
  12. Windows 7 Nvidia 670 GTX 16 GB DDR3 i7-3820 3.6ghz I should have more than enough to run this game.
  13. I have downloaded BOSS to see if there are any issues there and it didn't find anything. I have installed TES5 and that didn't find anything either.
  14. First off, let me say i'm new to the modding for Skyrim. I decided to download the game and its DLC from steam the other day. I have yet to start a game. The splash screen comes up, select Play, and sometimes Bethesda appears, others it just crashes to desktop. I have only downloaded two mods, which I'm pretty sure I've deleted in process of elimination to see what's wrong. I downloaded SkyUI and the SKSE extender, the NMM, and the FXAA injector. I've used the delete all active mods option in NMM to delete them and I no longer see them available. I also uninstalled and re installed the game with no luck. I'm not sure if it's a mod issue or not. I never actually started the game before I tried to download a few things. Do you have any suggestions for what else I can try?
