  2. We're having cats in Beyond Boulder Dome. We already have them modelled and ready.
  3. Glad you like it guys, I just have a couple animation clipping issues to iron out, and some bone-weight adjustments, but it should be ready sometime tomorrow.

  6. Thanks, glad you like it! I must have faded out the blue by mistake, so I'll redo the texture for the coat. I'm not sure about the flaring, but I'll have a look at that tomorrow. Are there any coats already in the game that don't flare like that? You have to bear in mind the animations for walking and running. If the coat is too close, the legs will clip into it during those animations, unless I mess with the weighting so the coat moves with the legs, but that would be like a sentient coat I'm thinking. :psyduck: I'll have a look into it tomorrow though. The shirt is the vault-suit re-textured, and the pants and boots are from the Lonesome Road riot armour, in case you were wondering.

  8. Yeah, I can use JG's sleeves, as changing the colour takes about 2 seconds in Gimp. What about the torso section of the shirt, that you'll be able to see from the front?
  9. I might make this for you, if I get chance. (Been very busy lately) It would help me if you could find all the parts in pre-existing armors, if you know what I mean, so I could put it together pretty quickly for you. Or if it needs custom stuff, that will take longer, depending on what the stuff is.
  10. Glenstorm - When making a havok object, is the actual nif different than a regular static's nif? Does it need some extra data? PaladinRider - Awesome, that kind of script gives me a lot of ideas for other stuff. Is that how Speedy's elevator works?
  11. What's the best way to make a collapsing building? Any ideas? Do I need to make an animated nif file, and do some fancy scripting, or what? Was also thinking about a collapsing road.

  13. Hahah, thank you! Those are awesome ideas! We could have the posters, and actually set up the ambushes, if the player decides to follow the posters.

  15. We don't have a concept art for it, but it's basically a rapid decaying of flesh, like your skin is starting to melt, and go black and rotten, and it falls off. The scientists have to wear special suits, that use a cryo-stasis technology that slows the spread by partially freezing cells. The disease wasn't known until after the Great War. The job of the NCR death squad is to eliminate the virus carriers, so maybe we could have posters than try to persuade potential virus carriers to give themselves up, or something like that.
  16. --The mod's not based that closely on Van Buren. We don't have the New Plague, we have Seltsam Syndrome instead. Thanks for your offers to help! Could I have a look at those guns you've made, and maybe a sample of your interior work, if you have any? Also, you can ask your sister if she wants to send me a voice sample, but I can't guarantee her a part, as we already have quite a few female voices. Rob

  19. That'd be great, if you could make that T-51b toy static for him then, or any other statics! Would save me the work! :cool: To Mike Hancho - I don't mind at all! If Quetz.. wants to make that toy for you, that'll be fine, just use a prefix for new objects your add in your esp. I use the prefix 'ab', so if you use abM (for mike) or something like that, that'll make it easier for me. Still, if you want brand new items (like those board games) that need brand new models and textures, ask me.
  20. While working on my current mod project, Beyond Boulder Dome, someone brought up the issue of combat and the ways it might be lacking in Vegas. So for BBD, I want to improve upon the combat experience of the vanilla game. That's where you come in. What is your opinion of the combat in New Vegas or Fallout 3? In what ways is it lacking? How could it be improved? Are there any combat elements you'd like to see? Do you have any cool ideas related to this topic? Any and all opinions are welcomed! Thanks! Rob
  21. You don't need to worry about changing the textures, as the textures paths are within the model files themselves. In order to select the male version in the female field, you first need to extract the male model file (nif file) from the Fallout meshes .bsa file, then you will be able to find and select it. If you make sure you put the nif file in it's right place, within the right folders, then you can delete the file again later, after you've selected it in your object's window.
