Nah, it's such a boring way to say "she is dead". It was better if was a conspiracy, and we have to solve this crime. My only disappoint is the missing dlcs about:
-Enclave
-Aliens
-The mistery of Sarah's Lyon death
-A better ending dlc
-Canada location dlc
-New Jersey DLC
-New York DLC
Such a lot of opportunities missed.
Ok I can solve Sarah's death
She died in combat, mystery over.
That's actually more boring to do. I'm tired of the badly constructed conspiracy theories of "Maxson killed her!" which ignores the fact that Maxson wasn't appointed Elder after her death, there were several other Elders that stepped down after being unable to handle it before Maxson rose to power.

Yea, that's why I think it's steam messing up. Bethesda even stated that the season pass would cover all DLC for the game, even for those that bought it early and the season pass on the steam store is literally the same product.

Beth.net is a cesspool right now, part of the reason why I moved over. That and I want to be active in modding communities.
-
There may be some truth to this, that or Valve screwed something up. The other day under the DLC tab it showed I owned the next 3 DLC coming out. However today they've disappeared. I own the Fallout 4 Season Pass by the way. Going to the page for Contraptions for example asks me to purchase the DLC for my account. There's no indication that I own it, even the store page for the Season Pass only lists Automatron, Far Harbor, and Wasteland Workshop. Maybe only people who paid for the Season Pass after the price increase get the new DLC? Hopefully it's just a glitch otherwise I'm going to be a little pissed off here.
It sounds like a glitch, might have to take it up with Bethesda or Valve to get it sorted

Can't tell if serious or joking but I disagree with every bit of your point. Everything Bethesda has given us is based on fan feedback (I've been an active member on the official Fallout 4 Bethesda forums since launch and even before then so I know this first hand)
Bethesda didn't 'hoodwink' anyone and the DLC is in response to what a lot of people wanted. People wanted to build more, wasteland workshop answered that. People wanted an Arena, wasteland workshop added that. People wanted displays, seems like contraptions is adding that. People wanted to build a vault, welp it's being added. And of course people wanted to be part of a raider faction, guess what Nuka World is adding, exactly that. Even Far Harbor answered feedback with branching quests and a neutral option for the main story as well as adding in the famous Harpoon gun that everyone wanted.
I feel Bethesda did a good job with their DLC.
-
Eh, to be fair most of the good part of New Vegas outside of DLC in terms of the writing is just the background fluff. A lot of the quests didn't even really have writing behind them and most of the NPCs lack any personality outside major figures and companions.
-
I don't know if you touched on this but the idea of having an heir as a baby sounds good but the idea of them suddenly progressing to teen in the span of such a short time sounds like an awful idea. I also think forcing marriage would make a lot of people not happy and get you nothing but complaints, especially people who are already married to an NPC and don't want multiple partners.
edit: Actually I think I just thought of a way to solve the marriage problem through the use of an assassination, maybe even to the point that you can frame one of your enemies for it which will let you further cement a reason to go to war or unite tribes that at first weren't on-board.
That being said I don't mean to tell you what to do with the mod, this is just a suggestion  I'm happy just being able to do a lot of the ideas you planned because it sounds really cool.
Though this is a suggestion that I'm not sure you thought about but what if we could make allies with certain factions or countries. Like being able to ally with Orsinium and one of the major political factions of Hammerfell or even the Thalmor that offers bonuses when fighting against whoever occupies the reach.
-
A Discord server would be better for that.
-
Fighting the Thalmor was never meant to be part of the game. Even if Ulfric was crowned then that wouldn't mean instant war with the Thalmor because Ulfric doesn't have the strength nor the resources, especially with the Empire still being a hostile force that can re-invade. Also the Civil War itself wasn't part of the main story, it was a side faction. Though I do agree it would be nice to see a crowning but it's not all that important to the ending of the game and they most likely did it so there wouldn't be problems in the next game.
Also apparently you never played Fallout 4 or even bothered to read up on it but it's not similar to Fallout 3 is anyway.
Ever heard about tes term Dragon Break? I guess u didn't. I didn't played F4 (nor i'm ever planing to) but i played F3 & it was awful. When i compared F3 with F4 videos, it's exactly the same carbon-copy recycled piece of s*** but even worse. Here i was expecting to be innovative, trully next-gen, like Skyrim was compared to Oblivion but i guess not.
Anyway, to quote Galmar:
What is the aim of this war?
''"First, we'll kick the Thalmor and their bloody Imperial puppets out of the country. Then, we will rebuild Skyrim into the land she once was. When we are done with that, we will take our army to the Dominion, and show those pointy-eared bastards not every man is fit to be their slave."
What's next for the mighty Galmar Stone-Fist?
"Heh. Ulfric's put me in charge of keeping an eye on the new Jarls. You know, make sure they're generally following orders. Can't say I'm looking forward to that. But, I will also be training men and women for their new armies. The Empire might send over a few Legionnaires to make sure we're serious, and of course, we'll be taking the fight to the elves soon enough. We'll need trained, disciplined and creative warriors for all that."
although:
Is there anything further I can do for the cause?
"No. I trust you'll do more good out there in the world, wherever you damn well please to go. You're a true son/daughter of Skyrim and'll know what to do. To begin with, killing any Legionnaire you find out in the wilderness. I've reports they've hidden military camps out there."
Also Rikke's words:
''The Legion's work is far from finished, but you are free to roam. I suspect you'll be of greater good to Skyrim out there, in the world. If while you're out there, you stumble into any Stormcloak military camps, I expect you to destroy them. I've reports they are hiding in the hills.''
"There are those who still call themselves Stormcloaks, who continue to fight us, and bring misery to the people... but they are few in number. The ordinary citizen will be happy to get back to life as normal, to have their families return home. And they should enjoy it while they can... I suspect all of Tamriel will again be called to arms in the not too distant future."
This suggests that maybe Dragonborn wasn't meant to be included in contuniation of a Civil War at all which is dissapointing. Still they could've added short moot meeting & crowning to sort of wrap it. Oh well...i guess i expected too much from it, they could've done the civil war way better (half of the content was cut from the final game somebody restored it in Civil War Overhauld mod) but still, there's literally NO EXCUSE of why they didn't gave an option for cleaning the Riften from corruption aka putting end to the Thieves Guild & Maven. Thieves Guild storyline as a whole was utterly atrocious, it definitely deserved award for the worst piece of writing in gaming.
Where are the other races of children i wonder & why the existing nord ones look the same? Lazyiness pure & simple!
Wow shocking, you never played Fallout 4 and you're making inaccurate claims.
I know about dragon breaks but nothing in the game that is directly in response to the main quest actually causes a dragonbreak unlike previous examples of a dragonbreak, even the time wound isn't the same type of dragonbreak as the Warp in the West as all it is is a look into a past.
The rest of your post is pretty much not even worth commenting on save for the child bit.
Again, the civil war ending in a dragonbreak wouldn't make a damn lick of sense and the game isn't about fighting the Thalmor or taking the fight to the Thalmor. At most the Thalmor are nothing but side characters.

I really doubt the only way to upload mods will be to upload them through Bethesda.net. That just doesn't make sense and Bethesda isn't that stupid.
-
Oh jesus christ no, please no garbage degradation system. I always hated degradation systems from how god damn awful they are, especially in the fallout games.
-
There also a restriction on using a modded save in Fallout 4. No achievements and other stuff are disabled for using any mod from nexus or Bethesda.net
That's less of a big deal because achievements are %100 useless.
-
It would be strange but hey, I wouldn't complain if they did. One of the first things people criticized about with Fallout 4 was that there was no raider faction and given Bethesda has been listening to fan feedback with their dlc I wouldn't be surprised if Nuka World would fix that. I mean, I'd obviously give it a try since it's something new.
As for being hostile to all four right now it's not possible as far as I know but I wouldn't mind seeing it added in.
-
One question; what does Steam linking accomplish aside from ensuring that everyone who uploads a mod has a legal copy of Fallout 4?
If someone gets banned they can't just make a new account and change their IP to re-upload a stolen mod. They would need to make an entirely new steam account and purchase a new copy of the game.

The funny thing is that there is a argument that settlement building and the sims are like the same thing on the official Beth forums. It's like people over there have never actually seen how the Sims games play. People are constantly going "WE DON'T WANT THE SIMS DLC FOR FALLOUT 4!" and are actually serious
-
Beth games it not just role playing, it also about doing wtf you want (it like the core thing of them.) so it only normal to see it in a beth game.Role-playing design SO BAD, no one even imagined it was possible.
FNV factions are not really that good though, they are quite black and white.Beth, of course, is still fuming over how a third-party dev did so much BETTER than any Beth attempt at factions (before or since) in New Vegas.
We should however note that better story and writing of the other beth games. Like dishonored.
Are you sure you want to be a raider?I'm kinda hoping that we can take over the Institute as the raiders without destroying it.
Of course. Put those synths under the boot of the raiders and force them to build, put a barrel behind the scientist's head and force them to make better weaponry. Force is a very good persuasion tool to get a bunch of synths and scientists to do your bidding.
That's kinda what Genghis Khan did when he conquered someplace, he would bring almost all the artists, scholars, architects and wisemen under he control...beforeslaughteringeveryoneelse. but the point remains I want to be the Genghis Khan of the Commonwealth.

You mean the combination of mods or the load order. Mods usually don't cause crashes on their own if the author isn't careless.Ok what mod did you download? You do realize crashing is standard stuff when modding a game right? Not every mod is compatible with each other and most likely it's the fault of the mod and not the service.
They can though, I've seen mods that on their own crash games because of errors. Hell, Trainwiz's Wheels of Lull had a big bug that would cause game instability and crashing after the final boss for a loooooooong time.
Like the idea that a single mod can't crash a game is pretty wrong and in my time of modding from Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, skyrim and Fallout 4 I've seen a single mod cause a lot of problems with a game. It's rare but it does happen and it is possible.
-
Yeah, cause the raiders are all about peaceful co-existence...I'm kinda hoping that we can take over the Institute as the raiders without destroying it.
No but they are hostile occupation

I will create the Raider Revolution

This is good news. I doubt many if any of them will be willing to buy F4 again on PC just to steal mods. Still, we'll see if it works.
Heh, the current mod limit on PS4 is 900mb. And I thought the limit on the Xbox was bad.
900 MB is only for the beta.

Don't know why they didn't do that in the first place. Oh well.
Agreed. i think you have to give Beth credit tho for rolling it out pretty quickly, especially since they were probably right in the middle of E3 prep.
Yea, I figured they were really busy to deal with it. Between E3 and all the new Fallout 4 dlc, the new forum and site, rolling out mods for PS4 and planning the new projects they want to do.
I'm just hoping this whole drama ordeal dies now and things return to normal.

Nexus Rules for using a script taken from DLC?
