  1. Given your attitude previously I'm just going to write off it as you blowing hot air and making false accusations.
  2. DLC with no warning? They announced the date weeks ago, this isn't "dlc with no warning" this is you didn't pay attention to anything.
  3. Actually the reason was Australia is super strict when it comes to drug related things. Now onto the topic and away from Zanity's crazy half-thought conspiracy theories. It's probably small fusion power plants, we see numerous businesses and buildings with their own fusion reactors so the wells could be something similar.
  4. It's fun. I spent hours building a vault, decorating it and thought the writing and characters were pretty fun. I think more people are going to expect more from it but I feel it was a good addition to the game.
  5. I've yet to have a infinite load screen with a save that is over five days of playtime.
  6. If you look at other games you'll see most complicated mods took a long time to come out and were first released well after the game was released. For instance XRE cars as someone mentioned wasn't out until 2013, 2 years after New Vegas also stuff like Project Brazil (Which isn't even fully released) has a lifespan of, what, five years now and has been constantly getting re-worked and old stuff changed.
  7. Except the only time they ever look glossy or 'shiny' is when the rain filter is applied which makes sense. Otherwise it looks like wood. I think it's just you
  8. It's to mirror how soda machines were designed in the 1950s but with enough to be original in design instead of a complete copy http://www.antiquevend.com/RoundTop.html
  9. I think aesthetic wise Fallout 4 may be the most Fallout game with it's retro-futurism look taking on a whole new and accurate level of what pre-war America in a futuristic 1950s setting for the series.
  10. Physical disks were actually pretty annoying. For instance if they break or get damaged from stuff like flooding or fire you're screwed. Buy a new one. It also meant the games became harder to find especially when they went out of circulation or weren't that widely distributed. Digital is always there at the click of a button, it's easier to recover, it's easier to find old games or obscure games and download them. Digital in every way is just superior.
  11. I'm glad we have people like you to tell the game developers how to make videogames. Thank you. Your welcome. They learn more slowly than I would like. The point of TeamBacon's reply went completely over your head. Re-read their post.
  12. The Rebel doesn't use Bethesda-created assets for one and two because Bethesda released resources for modders to use for free doesn't mean you can freely spread the mods without permission.
  13. Ok we get it you never played the Sims and have no clue what you're talking about. You hate that they're doing something new that a ton of people really love and want the world to revolve around your wants.
  14. Yes, people are just going to somehow clean all that up. Ignore the raiders, ignore the monsterous wildlife, ignore feral ghouls. ignore packs of feral dogs, ignore super mutants gotta clear those roads and get rid of every skeleton. 200 years doesn't matter when people are having a hard time surviving in general, hell the NCR hasn't even rebuilt a single city yet and they're the biggest nation on the planet right now. But he's got a point. I'm wondering the same since FO3. 200 years? At least walls without holes should be feasable. Houses that actually look like houses and not shanty towns. It's not a biggie for me, but it's not logical either. Because for the most part people are trying to survive. It makes no sense people would be clearing roads of cars or anything when they're working to survive and removing the cars or skeletons in desolate places wouldn't do a thing but waste time that can be used to farm, resource gather, building, repair or hunt.
  15. Well shoot, no writing position  good luck on finding people though
  16. Except it's not going the way of the DoDo. It's still an immensely popular game that has sold a huge amount and was well received. All your post is is a giant obvious "I don't know what the Sims is but I've seen other people make this claim so I'm going to parrot it" Your entire post is inaccurate lol. Just because they chose to put in a new mechanic doesn't make it "like the Sims or Minecraft".
  17. Yes, people are just going to somehow clean all that up. 18. Uh, maybe you need to pay more attention to the game. Settlers default to whatever job is opened. For instance if there is a crop that isn't assigned the settler will go to it, same for stores and guard posts.
  19. Those were all spies which ties up again in "China only doing espionage work in the US"
  20. It's an entirely new save that won't touch any existing saves except the previous exitsave. You don't even need to load the exitsave, it's literally not a problem to blow up about.
  21. China fired the nukes because the US had landed on Chinese soil and was basically destroying them. The American forces were pushing hard into China to the point that China no longer had reliable supply chains. The only place on American soil that the Chinese invaded was Anchorage and they were pushed back, everything else was done through espionage and stealth subs. That's why you never see Chinese soldiers in large numbers on American soil, because there weren't any.
  22. They really didn't though. It's also worth noting that basic "build your own base" type stuff is really not that original. Just because a modder did it first doesn't mean "they copied the mods"
  23. Poseidon Oil Rig was destroyed so there goes them having any oil. They didn't make Frank Horrigan, he fell into a vat of FEV while on duty in Mariposa and ended up that way. He was a complete accident and it goes against the Enclave's ideology.
  24. I'm not trying to make it about the Brotherhood, I'm using canon information to form that the Enclave would be dead. Given Mid-western are around no matter what ending you get which is canon (just not a specific ending is canon), ED-E never made contact and we only have one outdated log from 2277 about some outposts and New Vegas takes place in 2281 it's enough time for said outposts to be destroyed. So yea, the Enclave are D-E-A-D as far as we know since ED-E never made it to them and this is proven by lack of logs ED-E has about it and the fact ED-E wasn't repaired by the outposts which it was suppose to be welllllllll, dead that's what the enclave are when we look at canon information. Literally everything points towards the Enclave being dead and this all can be viewed through canon sources, the wasteland nazis are gone and dead like they should be.
  25. You can't argue with canon. And before you discard it, know that if you discard canon here, you must discard it everywhere. Canon is or canon is not. You may not have it both ways. Ok but we can use evidence given to us to theorize something and we can accurately theorize that since ED-E never made it to the Chicago outposts but managed to make it to Illinois that the Enclave outposts there are gone. You can argue with certain parts of canon when enough evidence is brought up to make a claim that said piece could be no longer true. ED-E made it to Illinois, ED-E was on a set route, ED-E was repaired by a waster and not Enclave, ED-E never met the Chicago outposts and nothing in terms of it's condition and records show that that it made it to the outpost thus outposts are most likely destroyed. Especially since the Mid-western BoS are still around according to numerous pieces of lore and the Brotherhood of Steel and Enclave are sworn enemies with the Mid-Western holding territory in Illinois so given all the facts and what we know it's more likely they're destroyed then alive. The Brotherhood of Steel even has three bases around Lake Michigan which Chicago sits on. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Brotherhood_of_Steel_(Midwest) Given that what the Enclave had were outposts and not bases it wouldn't be hard for the Mid-western to wipe them out given they would see any activity from said bases. Which would happen no matter what ending you get in Tactics. Even the bad karma ending the Brotherhood is still around and powerful http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Tactics_endings It's also worth noting that the events of tactics happened in 2197, that's long enough to build an entire nation and we know they're still around because Caesar mentions he captured BoS scribes.
