At the moment I have two displays with different resolutions (one at 3840x2160 and another at 1920x1080). If I open the web browser on the screen with smaller resolution, the home page looks poorly designed i.e. the tiles scale too large and the page does not fully show the initial content, as if the page were designed for a phone and hastily ported for the computer. Yet, if I open the browser on the screen with the larger resolution, the contents of the page fit, and has a more "open" vibe/feel to the page. I know Nexus has received a large amount of feedback regarding the recent changes, and I thought this trivial detail might be useful when discussing the feedback received.

I can understand the motivation to revamp the mod page appearance. However, I have a hard time understanding some "changes" or "features": CONS 1. The "Trending Mods" section is too large and almost distracting. Have the section at the top, but make it collapsed by default. Or, make the section optional. 2. "Popular Collections" sections makes me think, "Why? Why? Why?" I know both mod users and mod authors have expressed their desire for this element to be removed. At the very least, make it optional (site settings/preferences). Or, make this section collapsed by default. 3. The main page seems to be designed around "mobile" formats, which does not seem to be an intuitive decision. That said, when I am modding a PC game, I am actively using a PC, not a phone. 4. Clicking the buttons under "More Mods", especially "New" and "Updated" should open the next page. Scrolling to the bottom to hit "View More Mods" is less intuitive. (See point 3 regarding having the UI designed for phones.) The above written: There are elements/changes I do enjoy. PROS 1. When you get past the main page, and have loaded the secondary page (new mods or updated mods), the page has a better aesthetic and/or feel. The navigation and functionality of the page are more appropriate. 2 From the secondary page, I enjoy the ability to select language support. This helps clean up the mod search page.
