  1. http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/177/? This mod looks like it does just that. Haven't tested it out yet though. After he get the skills to cooldown while off profile, it will be the perfect mod and I reckon it'll be one of the top 10 mods for MEA until someone manage to add new slots for skills.
  2. +1 for no cooldown profile switch. This one simple tweak would make the gameplay 100% better.
  3. You might want to consider using cheatengine. It's fast and easy and works for mats too.
  4. No weapons mod would indeed be awesome since I played a power only build from the start. They can use a dummy gun as a place holder on the equip screen so you can get some of the augment bonus and they can use Overload's charging animation as the default state in game.
  5. What are you talking about? There is only ONE attractive Asian face (preset 1 female) and you had to do a lot of work to make it appealing, the other one was so ugly that no amount of fiddling can make her look good. None of the Asian male is appealing, I'm a pretty ugly looking Asian dude and even I looked better than the male presets in the game. Wish they would model John Cho or Daniel Wu for the male preset.
  6. Hi, I would be really thankful if someone could mod out the cooldown when we switch profiles. It feels so limiting only having 3 active skills, modding out the cooldown when switching profiles would effectively allowing us to use more skills during combat. Also, if someone can make biotic more versatile, it would be great. What I mean is: allow more of the skills to prime or affect protected enemies or do more damage against them. e.g. allow pull to prime shielded or armored enemies, shield powered shockwave and faster travel, make singularity travel faster, make throw do more damage to armor. Enemy scaling after lvl 80 seems to make them into bullet sponge and unfun. Would probably be fixed by EA later but if someone wants to do it before then would be great.
  7. I'm adding them. Dunno about other mod makers. It's already in the vanilla game.
  8. Take Nick, far harbor is almost an extended companion quest for Nick. Lots of unique dialogs and story triggers. I reckon Deacan may also have some unique dialogs but I'm not sure.
  9. Far harbor is a rough place with high radiation, they're supposed to be ugly.
  10. Watch some Bob Ross and learn to paint, everybody can paint, just pick up a brush and do it.
  11. Things we can do to avoid "horse armor" situations... *Never pre-perchase or buy season pass *Buy DLCs responsibly: read reviews and articles first. *Don't give publishers/developers incentive to gut contents that should be in the game in the first place, do not buy "horse armor" dlcs....EVER... vote with your money. Far harbor as a DLC is worth it even if it got some settlement items gutted, it's a proper expansion, the story alone is worth it. However, it would've been even better with the gutted items.
  12. I second this, Home Plate is exactly what OP is asking for, and it already looks like a cave to begin with. But there are perks to regular settlements, The Castle or settlements next to large bodies of water actually generates money by producing purify water.
  13. Reinstall and run vanilla without any mods, if it still runs poorly, turn down graphics settings, if it still runs poorly, maybe you need a new videocard. Mods that claims to improve performance can actually hurt it, those texture optimization mods actually crashes my game. Results may vary. Avoid large mods or mods that changes alot of things in game.
  14. The facing of turrets have little significance, they can turn 360 degrees.
  15. I had this happened to me when I first started, I completely wall off startlight drive-in with only one entrance and the raider spawn inside the settlement when I fast travel to defend it. I've soon realized there's absolutely no advantage to walling off, just build hard to access turrets and house the generator indoors. Build turrets around water supplies, food and generators since those are the ones that can get damage. If you wall off your settlement it'll just takes longer for you to defend since the raiders will need to move slowly to the entrance, it also have zero effect on the settlement's natural defense. Conclusion, forget walls, just build turrets.
  16. I got more "survival" feeling from playing minecraft than this. It just feels like a chore.
  17. Information so far: *New weapons: level action rifle, Melee wepons (fish hooks, wrench, etc), radiation rifle, spear gun. *Maine Armor (1 new set of module armor pieces) *New clothings, outfits and hats *1 New companion *1 main quest line, many side quests. *New settlements and new workshop items to build *New creatures Overall not a bad DLC, feels more like an expansion (aka how dlcs should be).
  18. I'm using 1.5.157 and have no problem enabling mods with NMM 61.22. But I guess if anyone wants to install their mods manually, this guide works as well. No need to include Fallout4.esm though, just dlcs and mods with asterisk in front is fine. Also, try playing on borderless windows, full screen been giving me a lot of loading and hanging problems, though it could be just me.
  19. Have you tried any other games? Because that image you post is a sign of cpu, gpu or ram going bad. If you're lucky, you can try down clocking either your cpu or gpu. If you have a spare graphics card some where, you can try swapping it in and see if it works. I'm 90% sure it's your gpu going bad or poorly overclocked.
  20. Things to try: 1) playing on borderless window mode. 2) playing on default cpu/gpu clock 3) uninstall mods that uses /interface folder or *.swf files unless it's specifically patched for 1.5 4) uninstall texture mods 5) uninstall keyword mods and keyword dependent mods, it's been giving me trouble and causing slow loading, maybe it's just my hardware setting. Personally, setting the game on borderless windows fixed alot of problems for me.
  21. Try playing on borderless window mode. Playing on fullscreen glitch my games sometimes. Also, restart your computer and try turning internet off.
  22. Do what I do, op out of beta, always update manually, block the game from going online. It's a singleplayer game, it got NO business going online.
  23. Without knowing more about your issues, I can only reply: it's still working for me.
  24. I can confirmed that sResourceDataDirsFinal= and bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 does NOT cause crash, I got the game started with mods working with both lines in the ini. It's the mods that cause crashes.
  25. 1) Install the latest NMM (I'm currently using 0.61.20) 2) Install and enable mods on NMM 3) open user/appdata/local/fallout4/plugins.txt and put an asterisk (*) in front of each mods on the list. 4) Put: Fallout4.esm DLCRobot.esm DLCworkshop01.esm on top of the first mod on the list in plugins.txt (without asterisk), if you don't have the dlcs, exclude esm of the dlcs you don't have. If you do not do this step, your game will hang at startup. 5) Start game, do not touch "addon" or "mods" in the menu, just load game. Note: Old mods that uses /interface and *.swf files cause instability in this patch, so does texture mods. Avoid them for now and wait for updates. Full dialog mod with its update works, nodotdotdot doesn't unfortunately. edit: start game using default fallout launcher, NMM cause instability for me somehow, your results may vary.
