  1. So I've been using Film Workshop with NAC and everything was fine until I chose to add Enboost today to fix some of my performance issues. I noticed directly after the change I was missing my NAC holotape and the game was quite a bit darker than usual, along with LOD issues which I was able to fix in the INI config. The problem remains though, after making the NAC holotape in the chem station, doing a reset of all NAC settings and then attempting to apply a preset configuration, the game goes totally dark and I have to reset all settings again. Is there something stupid I've overlooked or did the new changes alter Film Workshop in some way? NAC -IS- working but it's gonna a bit haywire and I'm hesitant to touch anything else because the game is at least stable at this point. On second thought, maybe NAC is just finicky af and I need to find something that isn't so unreliable.
  2. Ah, just me being an idiot. Overlooked the Switchboard Mod from Elianora's GIANT RED LETTERS !! ONLY INSTALL THIS **AFTER COMPLETING TRADECRAFT** !! :down:
  3. I can't figure out why this quest is failing. I've gone through the Railroad intro speech over and over but every time it ends and Deacon is supposed to speak to the main character he instead starts pathing back to the Railroad HQ with the rest of them and Desdemona isn't opening the HQ door. I have tried everything I can think of and all the things I've found on google and absolutely nothing works. It's like the quest just doesn't exist. The only mods I can think that would interfere are maybe the Synth Overhaul or Eli's Factional Overhaul. I've attempted deactivating mods and absolutely nothing. Deacon goes completely nonresponsive and no console command can bring the quest to function. The only thing I can think of at this point is maybe because I have the quest to go see Virgil maybe it's causing the Railroad to stop responding. I don't know. It's driving me insane. :( Might be forced to just kill off the Railroad at the end of the game even though that wasn't my plan.
  4. I just had to remove the conflicting logs and disable and then re-enable FOMM's archive invalidation tool to get it to actually write and everything is peachy. Thanks :3 I can finally stop being so damn irritated that I can't have giant quadruple F boobs on Fallout. Amirite?
  5. Thanks for all the replies. I appreciate it. I thought you were being rude at first, honestly. Does NMM's archive invalidation tool work at all, or do I have to install FOMM? I'm also running Windows 7. I'll attempt the steps if I don't get a response about NMM. If I do get a response, then do I need to do very similar things to enable NMM's functionality or is it simpler? Since it's beta, I assume not simpler. Oh, and UAC is a pain in itself. However, it's more popularly disabled in Vista and actually I believe I've taken steps to edit UAC due to a driver issue previously. Been too long for me to remember. Nvidia drivers are poop. And yes I did think fonger was a noun. >.>;;
  6. FOMM stopped working after I selected the directory for my mods. NMM was uninstalled, I did a fresh install on FOMM and it still gives me an error. System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. If I'm missing a key thread I just need a link to it, that's fine. I did everything I know how to do, seriously. =\ I'm not sure what a fonger is, however, 'lurk more' would have been snarky enough. Neither of the managers are stable. Why is it terrible to ask what the current work around is if it isn't discussed in the beta category of the forum? Someone just specify that FOMM's invalidation WORKS. I'm going to get internet angry at you and cry.
  7. I've attempted to get archive invalidation working using the newest Nexus manager, FOMM does not work on my computer for some reason and I can't even begin to restore functionality, and I've tried manually inserting files. Manually editing requires finding Sarchivelist, which does not exist in my directory. So I'm left asking what is the current workaround and why are there no stickies if none of the invalidation edits work? Does NMM need to be installed physically into the New Vegas directory to work, or what? Really irate not being able to find any information on this. D: FOOK works, everything works. Just the damn texture placement. The mesh works fine. lfjsflsakj Sorry if I sound rude or anything, just desperate to fix it.
