  1. I moved a lot of old save files to another drive for backup still have lots of recent saves in Save directory and when I restarted game its said You are using a newer version of Fallout than this version of F4SE supports I am using F4SE 0.4.2 which is latest Help..

I have a very thin red line where the compass would be in the vanilla game center screen which is still visible although in my game the compass is actually at the top of the screen moved by mod installed trying to fix the problem. I tried using TM in the console and the line is still there so its not the mod. Any ideas please on how I can get rid of this red line, it ruins any screen shots I take.
  4. I have a problem where I can’t Copy and Paste post any text in the Forums now? I can input a Title with copy and paste no problem but can’t put any text in the message Box. I can add and reply posts in individual mods using copy and paste but cant in the Forum. I wanted to send private messages to mod authors but can’t unless I want to sit there and type everything in the message box long hand. Can you give me an Idea of what I’m doing wrong? When I send an E-mail to [email protected] I get a reply it doesn’t exist? This is the only place I could contact the Nexus team

  6. I have no civil war mods in my game I don’t want to play the civil war. Before Season Unending I can walk into any camps without any problems, But after Season Unending I am called Unblooded by some of the StormCloaks and if I approach an Imperial camp they draw their swords and say things like your trespassing get away or else or words to that effect. I was hoping for a consol command to set things neutral again even if that changes who owns which city.

Ok This is my fourth try and I’m a bit fed up each time I go through the quest Season Unending I think I have chosen the neutral rout (I even followed a the walkthrough on one occasion) but after I finish the main quest and killed Alduin and start clearing bandits from forts etc some are taken over by Imperials and I have to start making large detours in order not to kill them, as I don’t want to play the civil war, I just want both factions to treat me as neutral so I can pass through their forts and camps. I have never killed a member of either faction. Even a Consol command would do Can anyone help
  8. OK I managed to figure it out by looking at items and what TS5Edit said its Armor AddOn slot number was and then looking in NifScope at that Body Part number. For anyone else interested for instance, in TS5Edit Body AddOn slot 4 is SBP_45_DRAGON_BLOODWINGL_OR_MOD_NECK in NifScope. Don’t forget to change the Armor Addon as well as the Armor in TS5Edit. I have finished my Armor adjustments now and everything’s working together fine I thank you Caithe for your help
  9. Hi I found your information very easy to follow and have found the location without any trouble. One problem I have is cross referencing the settings in the list with the body AddOn slots 1 to 17 as shown in TS5Edit. Do you have that information?

  11. I wondered if anyone could help me. I have a few of the Skyrim piece part armour mods running in my game and I wanted to be able to change some of the items body addon slots used so I can blend some parts from one with another that at the moment conflict. I have used TS5Edit to change to body addon slots which seems to work, but in-game the mesh is invisible. I wondered if there is also a setting I need to change in Nifscope and if so a short description of where to find it and what to change would be what I’m looking for, can anyone please help?
  12. Can anyone please give me the falskaar bandit faction ID? I have been playing as a bandit in skyrim adding the player to the bandit faction, and want to be able to travel to Falskaar and still be a bandit Can anyone help? OK for anyone thats interested Using Tes5Edit I found these Falskaar Bandit faction ID's Falskaar Bandit Faction = 010FE34A - this is the main bandit faction FSMQ05ABandit Faction = 01072A75 - seems to make the player a friend Bandit Dialogue Faction = 0102FEBB of course I changed the first to digits to my load order i.e. 0A0FE34A so it ends up as Player.addfac 0A0FE34A 1 etc and using these in a bat file I can wander about amongst the bandits without any problems I just have to be careful not to encounter any Falskaar guards as they are an enemy of the main bandit faction and will attack you on sight as long as the player is part of that faction. My problem now is that the Falskaar bandits dont seem to have any dialogue apart from their set pieces i.e. they don't have any generic responses as they do in Skyrim or Solstheim so they wont talk to the player at all not even a grunt in response or have I done something wrong?
  13. That doesn’t work its scripted to respawn. I tried delete, kill delete, disable and Markfordelete It will disappear and after a few days its back. I think it’s been made very robust because of what the player could put it through
  14. I solved the problem by removing all the items in her inventory sending her home by dismissing her then re-hiring her once she is at home. Everything’s working fine now

For anyone else who has this problem this may help, I managed to solve it by clicking on the horse in consol so its ID is shown and typing setownership this apparently make things ownerless anyway Lydia now uses her own horse without any problem with the offending horse right next door. The horse's name still says its mine though.
  16. Lydia has suddenly become unable to carry anything it says “Item is too heavy to carry” Even if she has next to nothing in her inventory. If I take things from her she still can’t carry anything else even if the item weighs less than what I took from her. Is there a fix for this? Have I missed something? Is it because I married her? I’m sure I could give her items afterwards Can someone please help.
  17. I now only use Frost as my steed and I have a companion horse mode(horses for followers). But Lydia insists on using my old black Whiterun horse if we are at the Whiterun stables even if hers is closer. Everything is fine elsewhere as I don’t own another horse anywhere else. If she gets off my old whiterun horse it goes home immediately leaving her with a long walk back to get hers. I’ve tried killing it and disabling it but it respawns. so I think I just need to remove the players ownership which should stop her using it I hope. Can anyone help with maybe a consol command?

  19. I enter the dungeon and obviously there is a trigger plate on the floor ahead of us . I carefully sneak around the plate watching for enemies and suddenly I am hit in the face by a spiked swing gate, Blood everywhere. I turn to see if Lydia is ok and there she is smiling at me and standing in the centre of the trigger plate! I have tried adding the Light Foot perk to her using addperk. In consol I selected Lydia and typed “addperk 0005820C” and it didn’t come up with any errors but she is still setting off the traps. Have I done this right? Is it even possible to give a follower a perk? Have I got the code wrong? Is there a way of finding out if she has the perk enabled? Can anyone please help?
  20. Thank You both for your input I will try to find the follower behavior mods I am not a vampire it’s just emersion breaking after a long trek to have your companion just stand and watch you sleep and a bit creepy
  21. Have I got this wrong? In the Wiki it says you can command your companion to sleep which Lydia will do, but I am stuck in the command loop while she is sleeping if I come out with Tab she gets up. Do I have to stay in the command topic to keep her sleeping? Or have I missed something
