Sounds like your missing textures and meshes or they are not installed correctly

The empire faction drones come from faction warefair agents, the other named drone BPC's come from drone plexs and the parts from commander drones, there basicly not worth the price, so as ppl have said you better off training scout drone op to 5 and using cheap and uusaly better t2 drones.
