  2. Camero......thanks here my friend! On the left side I have 124 mods mate. I understand that 250 is the max for mod load ...You have got more than this mate. Your game OK???

  3. Hi Fellas' Say, I use MO and I have been trying to find out where it gives the number of mods installed! Has anyone got any idea ... short of going through them one by one ..plz?????

  4. Well I have the 'Armored Horses' mod, which seems to please itself bojanni. I have recently re installed this mod for the umpteenth time. It has worked for a while and now stopped! The birds and flocks mods don't seem to want to work either kiddo???

  5. Hiya fellas' I am using Mod Organizer and I find it a great gizmo lads however, I still have a couple of mods or so that do not want to 'kick in' ..as it were! I usually find that a re install ill sort the matter out, but what does one do if that does not work ...anyone crossed this bridge yet ??????

  6.

The only way to exceed the 255 mod hard limit is to combine or merge mods - Meaning tat if you merge 6 mods into one - that counts as one mod tward the 255 limit.

However, larger more complex mods do take up more of your computer's resourses, and those resources are limited. So, a lot of heavy scripting or massive mods that use a lot of resources can cause your game to fail earlier than the official limit.

Even if you used 255 mods, you might have problems caused by scripted mods. It all depends on how many scripts does those mods use, and how often it has those scripts running. If you use a ton of mods that have a lot of scripts running all the time, then you'll have other problems like Save game bloat (which slows everything down) and more. My recommendation is to not go over 100 scripted mods.

I have 216 mods in my load order, and only a small percentage of those mods are scripted mods. I have a lot of mods that add stuff to the game world, several processing friendly graphic mods, and several mods that adds new items and spells and such. I also have a lot of plugins that are patches to help many of my mods to work together. So far, I haven't had a problem.

WOW! Whilst on the subject, what does one do if a mod is not working?? I am using Mod Organizer and things are pretty much ok ..other than for one or two mods not 'kicking in' ... I tried re-installing but this only works sometimes ???

  7. Thanks mate for the feed. I should think that 255 ought to take care of the mod question. I am in touch with a number of you guys and the general opinion is not to exceed the 255 in any way????

  8. Its OK now ZZZ02 thanks for your response mate. I have just moved over from Nexus Mod Loader to Mod Organizer. I have en-counted a few issues in doing this. I have re-installed MO and the problem has been solved now! Thanks again mate for your contact here!
