  1. Ok thanks it works better on Chrome than Opera Gx. Thank you very much all of you for having helping me !! Good continuation !
  2. oops its 20 mods sorry but it's too small
  3. I forgot that I should make backups from my mods and I delete that folder Picky told. Now, it works, but do you have any idea to make the downloads history from nexus bigger ? because it only seems to remember 10 mods...
  4. Ok, but, how can I contact Picky ? has he already told how to do that but on social medias ? and, could you possibly tell me how to find those 2 folders ? I'm attaching a screenshot and I don't know if it's one of thoses 2 folders. I'm a bit lost actually with all the stuff with Vortex. Oh sorry I didn't see your message Picky
  5. My downloads folder was set up correctly for a while, but I recently acquired a new drive. So, I started making space in my overloaded c: drive and moved my steam games (including the games I modded) to my new e: drive. I did this in Steam, correctly. Since then, I've reopened Vortex and I've had a message telling me that the "hardlink deployment method" for modding no longer works because the games and mods have to be on the same drive (so I had mods on c: drive and games on e: drive). So I went and changed the location of the downloads folder and the staging folder. I started with the downloads folder and that's where my problem began. So that's where I am now. PS: small correction, it was my e: drive that was copied entirely into the Vortex folder that I had created on the e: drive, a bit like Inception . PS 2: I didn't really understand the meaning of the last part of your sentence, what stuff are you talking about? PS 3: today when I launch Vortex I get a big pop-up, I'm attaching it if it's any help and by the way, sorry, my English isn't perfect so I may use terms that are too approximate like "configured". Thanks again for taking the time to read me and trying to help me with my problem.
  6. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I already told you that my folder is clean, without any files. As I've already said, I went to see what was happening in the folder and Vortex, for some reason, copied my entire drive into the folder. That's why, as you say, because the folder is not clean and clear, Vortex can't move the folder downloads. I've attached 2 screenshots if that helps you understand. If you have a problem with understanding my problem, I invite you to reread my first posts. Have a good day.
  7. Hello Showler! Thanks for taking the time to reply, but unfortunately the problem I explained in my first post still persists. Indeed, when I try to configure my downloads folder by choosing a folder that I have created, empty or not, and I press apply, the loading bar appears but after a while the progress of the bar stops and a message from Windows appears (image in attachment). I tried to press cancel, but it cancelled the movement of the downloads folder. I tried to give permission but when I do, the message reappears and after a while, another windows message appears (image attached) and when I press yes or no, the first message and the second alternate ad infinitum. It only stops if I refuse to give permission for the first message. Vortex is copiying the entire disk inside the Vortex folder and that's why he needs permission to access to a game (Aragami 2). PS : the second message is in french because it's my native language but the text isn't important. It says : Do you want to allow this application to make changes to your device ? PS 2 : I can provide more informations or even footage if it can helps you. Have a nice day !
  8. Hi ! My supposed downloads folder and my games are already on my E:, my largest drive. For the latter part of your post, I already know that. When I said that I thought the message appeared because the downloads folder had to be configured, it was because I deduced that, since neither the staging folder nor the downloads folder are configured, Vortex must be lost because it can't not "complain" because the staging folder is subdirectory of the Vortex downloads folder whereas the downloads folder is not configured. In short, I'm lost and I have another question: which folder should I configure first, then ? and of course, what do I need to do to play with mods since i can't configured these 2 folders ? Thanks for replying to my post, have a nice day ! PS : When I try to apply the change to the downloads folder I had created (E:\Vortex\Downloads and E:\Vortex\Staging), the folder is deleted. In addition, 2 new files appear (see attachment). I had launched Vortex with hogwarts legacy as the selected game.
  9. Hi ! Recently, I had a problem with Vortex. Indeed, I moved games from steam from the disk C: to E: and, since that, Vortex ask me to configure another folder (staging mods folder and downloads folder) because my "deployement method" needs the staging mods folder to be on the same disk as the games. So, I went to try to configure another folder for the mods staging folder but it says that the "Staging folder can't be subdirectory of the Vortex downloads folder". I think that this message appears because the Vortex downloads folder is not configured for the moment. So, i tried to configure another downloads mods folder but, that's when my problem came, it launch a progress bar and it stops and says that Vortex need a permission to acces to game that I installed on the E: disk (Aragami 2 from Xbox Game pass). I couldn't understand why it was asking me for access to an unrelated game and then I had the idea of launching the file explorer and seeing what was going on in the folder I'd created for the downloaded mods. I tried again to apply my choice for the folder and I saw in the folder that Vortex was copying my entire E: ssd into the downloaded mods window. So now I'm stuck and I don't know how to make it work. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. Thanks for reading and have a nice day! PS: I already tried to reinstall Vortex. PS 2: English isn't my native language so if you don't understand something or you need more informations, ask me please.
