Hey, quick question about enchantment. Okay, so I've got a +2 fire damage rune. I stick it in a weapon, and every enemy I smack gets another 2 fire dmg done to him. Easy. But what if I put it on my shield? Will enemies striking me take +2 fire damage? The game doesn't seem to clarify. Thanks!

Try using FO3Edit to make a Merged Patch. It's saved me from countless freezes. It sounds (and will look) complicated, but it's a very simple process, really. :)

Hi. For some reason, changing settings in-game doesn't seem to work, and my mouse sensitivity needs lowering by a few good notches. By mouse sensitivity, I mean the sensitivity of the mouse in-game, in 3D interfaces, as I'm running around and shooting. This is different from the in-menu/in-PipBoy acceleration. Can anyone post a line for me to edit into my FALLOUT.ini and tweak accordingly? Thank you!

Bumpity. If I can't find a new Christmas radio station, I'll make one, but I'll need the tools. The work, however, I will gladly put in.

So, I was looking for a Christmas-themed radio station, and all I could find were three GNR replacers. So, I have three questions... 1) Can someone clue me in to the most expedient way I can add a new station with Christmas music to the Capital Wasteland? 2) Also, where can I find some old-timey Christmas music? I understand a lot of radio mods take them from specially-licensed databases. 3) Anyone know any good filters/programs to give modern audio that old-record feel?

Erm, unfortunately I don't know how to properly create/edit/assign races. Let's just assume I know nothing about GECK, except how to navigate it. Again, thanks SO much for the help! If this works smoothly, I might make an .esp out of it and send it to the modder of Chryslus Bar and Grill.

Hmm, so I've been experimenting off your instructions, and I'm getting the basics, but alas, I don't know how to use the GECK *that* well. Here's all I'd like to do: I want to use the DIMONIZED Type3 textures and meshes for the strippers in the Chryslus Bar and Grill. I want them nowhere else. I've removed all traces of Type3 from my Data folder, so I'm on a clean slate from here.

Done and done! Used XN Resource Editor to add some .icos and it looks great! My perfectionist tendencies have been sated. Thank you!

Erm, one last thing... I installed the Sarah Lyons fix just fine, but now my perfectionist self is getting nitpicky about these nude bodies I've strewn across the wasteland. I've got a working knowledge of the G.E.C.K. How would I go about only enabling Type3 for certain mods/the NPCs of certain mods? (I say certain because Chryslus Bar and Grill may not be the only mod with nudity I may download) Oh, and I'd like to avoid the Body Control mod if possible, for various reasons.

Hiya! In short... how do I change the FOSE icon? I'm using Windows 7 and I can't change it the regular way. I'm trying to get it to show the FO3 icon in Steam via shortcut, and if I use the "Change Icon" option it gives me a pixelated icon with a shortcut arrow covering half the little guy's face. So, I either need to change the icon for fose_loader.exe or find a way to disable shortcut arrows in Steam. Thank you in advance!
