Well, when I first started Oblivion via default launcher, it did the usual message box that I've learned happens when no ini is present. I changed the options for resolution, and anti-aliasing, and that was it. It still failed. Now would Nehrim, since it has it's own launcher and all, somehow have messed things up? I hope not.

Well I only have Oblivion.esm loaded at the moment. I have installed Darnified UI previously. Would all the other mods I have that aren't loaded matter?

Hey, I'm playing Oblivion for the first time in years. I've had a lot of mods for it in the past, and I've played Nehrim on it. In fact, last time I played Oblivion, it wasn't Oblivion, it was Nehrim. I've got just Oblivion.esm loaded. It gets part way through the Bethesda Softworks Logo, and then it CTD's. I've tried from the default launcher. I've tried from OBMM. Now, I will end up loading more mods, like Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine, and a few others, I wanted to try the KotN Revelations mod. Any reason for it to fail? Morrowind runs without a hitch. Skyrim runs without a hitch. Fallout 3 runs without a hitch, so why is Oblivion crashing before I even get to the menu?
