  1. an angle... I can't work it out. I've disabled texture mods. Uninstalled them and tested. Even went to my texture folder and removed the grass folder and landscape. Yet this weird problem WILL NOT go away. I really don't want to uninstall either as it's a pain in the butt to redownload the whole damn game again and reinstall the mods. I did have the Skyrim HD DLC in once, but I removed it (by tugging out the BSAs and esps) and this is a new save. I had this on my previous save too. When I look at it, it looks like grass textures and seeds, but surely the issue would go away if I had my grass folder removed and mods disabled. It only appears at certain angles and certain places, and when I move these 'invisible' texture move with me. Thought it might've had something to do with WATER but even after removing that, the issue was still there. Picture 1 Picture 2 Shows how when I look in a different direction, the issue goes away, Picture 3
  2. Trying to find the author and the mod which is basically a copy of the Star of Elendil necklace from LoTR. I know I've seen it, but I can't remember the name and something tells me it's not simply 'Elendil'. There is Elendil but it's been hidden by the author so I can't find out if it's actually that mod or not. Edit: Managed to find it. Typical lol.
  3. Lol'd when I heard the C&C deaths. Was waiting for that Wilhelm scream though :( Either way it was good. Wondering whether this was the start of a plot or something.
  4. Been wondering, what happened to the update for this? Lol

    Really love it though.

  5. Getting desperate for this one lol, especially as OWB looks promising but I can't continue it due to this bug and right now, if I can get a fix instead of using console commands, that would be preferable. Anyways, seems there's a conflict with Requiem's Rivet City barter dialogue and OWB's SINK AI dialogue. Whenever I exit the chat after talking to the AI, my game crashes. This fix does exist, it's in these topics/posts http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/372651-a-requiem-for-the-capital-wasteland/page__st__7940__p__4797834#entry4797834 http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/409744-old-world-blue-crashing-problem/page__st__30__p__4797813#entry4797813 I sort of know what to edit in FNVEdit, but not where, and from what I gather editing the esm produces a few more errors too, but this fix corrects the error above without producing further issues, at least that's what I understood. If there's no luck with this topic, I might just shift it to mod finders :P.
  6. Hey you wouldn't happen to have the fix in this topic would you? I'm desperate for a working one.

  7. BoS. Sort of feel FO3 and New Vegas really changed the BoS in a bad way for me, making them overly 'obsessed tech fanatics'. In Tactics I see the BoS helping people, as they should be. FO1 BoS weren't a real issue either. Enclave aren't any better than the BoS, never ever will be. They massacre innocents. This is mainly coming off of FO1/2/Tactics though.
  8. http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/13/namco-bandai-takes-note-of-dark-souls-pc-petition/ I watched a clip of a playthrough, looked interesting, and was sad to see it wasn't on PC.
  9. Uhm... Yes you could. You try standing still and being fine after being smacked in the head, neck, legs or ribcage with a strong sturdy spear. It's just like a stick.
  10. Main thing I'm sad was missed, was the physics of the fat Giant and clothing. Why on earth...
  11. SW seems to be full of really useless mods. It's very messy lol, and not attractive at all. I'm just hoping the proper mods also make their way onto the Nexus eventually.
  12. Yeah, except some 'good' modder(s) aren't using Nexus for their mods at all, which is unfortunate.
  13. Got doubts about SW. People seem to think it's a magical downloader which will solve all conflicts and problems, no need for Bash or BOSS ever again, Steam will do it. But it won't, and already people are encountering errors. Not only that, it seems like SW has an influx of multiple silly mods which don't need to be uploaded at all, like many Giant animal mods. I think we'll get a better idea of where SW stands in comparison to Nexus in two weeks or so. As I remember reading a while ago, Steam will be fine with minor mods, but with overhauls it's going to struggle, which is where Nexus will hopefully remain strong. I'm just hoping Nexus doesn't become second priority because of SW, I've already seen some modders saying 'Oh SW will have faster and more updates than Nexus! Check here!' =_= I don't have much trust in what Steam and Bethesda are doing, as I do feel they're trying to dethrone Nexus, lol.
  14. Laughed when I heard the Wilhelm scream. It had to be done. Now all we need is actual battles like this in Skyrim.
  15. Thanks for this, was looking for something along the lines of what you've done. Answered a question I wanted to ask lol.
  16. Nice to see a few responses. I decided to give it a try, but slowly, as in just making my character walk around a lot more, rest, eat, I even removed heavy gear to safely submerge myself underwater without 'drowning' lol. Admittedly, the only problem I have with is the walking, it feels so slow. Of course it's going to be slower than running around all the time but usually I'm certain if I had the choice, I would walk much faster than this game lets me :3. I'll probably move onto creating a background for my character at the moment, as I really don't feel like starting over anew. I remember when I was in my early teens, I used to literally RP easily on RTS's all the time, like building towns/settlements, naming Generals, units and ranking people in terms of importance and such, good times. Very different now though, obviously.
  17. I've noticed a few mods that are based around roleplaying in Skyrim, and people mentioning their RP characters, but one question has always appeared in my mind: How on earth do you actually RP on Skyrim? Only thing I can think of is just... Talking to myself, or in my head while things are happening or something, or maybe not doing this/joining a faction because your character is supposedly against it. But even that feels a bit limited. I just can't seem to understand it. Is it even fun? Do explain lol, this is a curious and serious question.
  18. I think this will go far. Primarily because it's already in the works and had a considerable amount of progress and success already, only around a month after the game came out. Keep it together guys, you're setting a good example. I wish more modders would do this lol.
  19. I'm not a Vampire, but a Werewolf. Though I wasn't in Werewolf form at the time, so I assumed they wouldn't hurt me with their silver. I did do some sneak attacks, even equipped the DB's gloves, and I did only around 25% damage on one person from behind with a superior two-handed skyforge great sword, they turned around, sliced me and I lost half my health. Even blocking seemed dangerous. I guess it's partially my level, as I just read into the leveling system of Skyrim, but I didn't expect a few of the standard grunts to be so problematic. Sure the ones with special names but the typical guys? :/ I did get through the fort, I'm just concerned for later encounters with enemies now.
  20. Has anyone else found the Silver Hand to be quite... Overpowering at some points? I just attacked a fort to get an object and while there were ones who are just useless meatshields, quite a few of the guys there just ripped through my armour over and over again, I had to rely on cheap tricks like luring them into the deadly traps. Like I came across some person wearing pretty much the same steel armour as me, 1-2-3 swings and they forced me to the ground, while it took me too many swings to down them. Some half naked guy with just trousers on, had the same trouble. Are quite a few of the standard 'Silver Hand' meant to be a HUGE challenge even when you're not 'most vulnerable' to them? Or is it just me? I don't think my character build is that lousy either to have such a bad effect. I'm on the default difficulty.
