how?

I start fallout after re-installing it. It worked fine last time, but i got a new computer. I have updated to patch 1.7, installed and updated the latest GFWL and searched for a solution. Whenever click on fallout it will come up with the start menu, but when i click play it will start to load the game and then come up with a message saying. fallout 3 has encountered and error and must close or something like that. Does anyone have a solution? :verymad: I think the pc is worse than my old one. I just uninstalled GFWL and it came up with "This application has failed to start because msidcrl40.dll was not found" PLEASE HELP

I figured it out. I did player.setstage XXXXXX 2 Elder lyons came up to me and started the quest But then i had to spawn Paladin Tristan? Some of the broken steel characters arent coming up

I started playing broken steel after fixing it, but i did the pitt and anchorage Now it doesn't come up with the quest Death from above can someone please help me

alright i got it fixed. It turns out that broken steel was top of the order, i used FOMM and changed the order thanks all!!!

thanks buddah i'm using windows XP, my graphics and everything else check out fine The location of the file is C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data I also have the pitt and operation anchorage installed (wanted point lookout but had to save money) I'm not exactly sure whats wrong

yes it is a legitimate version of Broken Steel, im using the 1.7 UK patch

When i play broken steel, there are heaps of errors 1. When i wake up, it goes straight into dialogue with elder lions 2. As i walk around, there are all of these red things which i think are exclamation marks 3. When i try to go out to the wasteland, it just gets out of the game and says there is an error Please help because i am really frustrated and want to play it.

Dont worry, i've fixed it. for any of you who are wondering, it is a simple error of me, downloading the US patch instead of UK http://card.mygamercard.net/sig/marcushugh.png

It made it so i couldn't access live!!!

I just installed 1.7, but it wont allow me to access live!!!!! When i click on live it will blank out all the other words but it will do nothing Also when i hit home it doesn't work Can someone help me please?

I have got the Fo3 archive and was looking through the textures for the glasses but could'nt find them. Does anyone know where they are? :confused:

I cant find where the glasses are in the textures files, i've looked everywhere through the textures folder. Can someone help me ?

i didn't know the metros actually went somewhere. I thought they were all blocked. I didn't know how to view karma and stats. Didn't know stimpacks did until GNR Didn't know that 3dog was slightly crucial and so i killed him and had to take the long way to the washington monument Did't know how to repair

I was walking around the station near tenpenny tower and i had my fat man out. i was on pretty low health and was walking towards these ghouls in front of a fire when something jumped out of thin air and attacked me. i was so scared that i fired my fat man at the ground and blew my self up.XD Im pretty sure it was a feral ghoul

if you ressurect lyons (for some reason) then she ends up being like a different character. try doing the same thing to elder lyons!!!

alright this happened with me when i accidently overwrote the textures file. If this adds a new texture then that is the reason why it crashes. It might be made for a dlc (addon pack) and not for the original. if you dont have the dlc then the mod wont work

maybe try player.placeatme 00000A71 if you have gone and got good karma, enter the console and click on him after you find him and type sv and then SetHasBeenHired to 1 I found him in rivet city because i blew up megaton. he is in the muddy rudder with butch he can be found in nthe ghoul underworld or tenpenny tower although i have never seen it.. edit he can be found outside raven rock after you meet fawkes that is where i found charon and clover
