Well, the two you mentioned weren't the source, but I'll keep trying with the other .esps. If anyone knows of a conflict between the mods I'm using or a possibly defective mod, let me know, and I'll see if it's what's causing the problem. Thanks! EDIT: By the way, I have been using BOSS, so the lack of it isn't an issue.

Unless there are some files that Dragons Diversified shares with another mod (or mods) that you have installed, which could cause a conflict, then no, it shouldn't.

I went through my previous problem of Skyrim crashing when I load it up, but now that I've actually been able to get to the menu, I can't start a new game (freezing @ the dragon symbol when starting a new/loading an old game). I've gone through my list of loaded mods fairly thoroughly, backed-up and deleted my skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini, looked up answers on the forums (some other people have had the same problem and haven't had a solution posted), and checked for conflicting esp's and mod's, but can't seem to fix the issue. After the last problem I had , this issue's been popping up for me, too. I'm using SKSE, and used Boss to sort out the load order, but when I want to start a new game, it just stays on the dragon graphic. Anyone know another solution to the issue?

Oh s***, I feel really dumb. I'm going to work on that straight away. As a side note, I did get it to work at the start, except now it's fairly laggy. Buuuut, that's my issue, so I won't bring it up. Thanks for bringing up Wrye Bash, it'll probably help.

I just installed a bunch of mods for a new run-through of Skyrim, but when I launched SKSE it crashed at the start menu. I installed them using the feature included in the NMM, and only barely checked for updates, thinking I was getting the newst stuff.
