Is it possible to change the color of fonts in Skyrim?
Whitefire replied to Whitefire's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I have it, and there are some 'color lines' in skyui_cfg--but isn't it only for inventory? I was mainly thinking about dialogue options. -
Thx, I'll stick to NMM for now. As to manual installs.. Yes, i get your point, but Skyrim, even being one of the best games ever, is not so big a part of my life to spend hours just installing/uninstalling/experimenting with mods. I tried it and it is just spoils fun me.

I've been out of touch with this site and Skyrim for half a year, and now that I have time to play again there's a lot to take in :) Are you guys using Nexus Mod Manager or Steam for getting your mods, or perhaps it doesnt matter? Are there any good mods not available through one of this programs but available through the other? When I took a break from the game, Steam only started to support mods so I was using NMM - I still have it and honestly i would prefer to use it but I don't know if I will miss much if I just ingnore Steam services. Thx.

To give such mod a really powerful effect it would have to be used smartly, so that the happy face shows in correct context. Well, that would be the best thing. I hope this will be possible with ck.

I agree! Our hero cannot even look down or up, not to mention things like dance or kiss. There aren't even any commands for what I know, - much less anything really used in the game. I hope it's just waiting for CK...

As to sex... I think it is difficult for studios like Bethesda and titles like Elder Scrolls to implement sex in their productions. Social rules, culture, criticism, there are many reasons. it will probably sound a little stupid, but sex / 'deep' romance mods for games like Skyrim ARE A JOB FOR MODDERS. It's just my opinion. You see, it's easier for everyone, and it keeps everyone happy. Bethesda can say 'we have nothing to do with this kind of content', users are happy  - and, I hope, modders have fun, which is the most important if (I'm not a modder) we should expect them to do anything.

I (well, not me-I, , my alter-I : ) married Lidia, but she came with a mod that elimitates the swooorn thingy. And I have Aela for a follower now... Sometimes with a mod to take off the warpaint. Sooo... :)

I found some necklaces in one of the shops in Solitude. Same for fortify restoration effect. I get around 1,7k for enchanted dagger and I don't really bother with price-adjusting items. Kind of sucks, I feel like I'm cheating, but its not so easy to just 'stop doing it'. The game allows it, after all.

LE Animations that are not completely and utterly s***.
Whitefire replied to jack254's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
just not the pregnant wife animation, it would be too immersive for me :))) -

Whitefire replied to jack254's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
yeah, what's the point of having a wife i she never as much as smiles at you? :P -
really? I never noticed. Maybe that's because i reached 100 in ench and started adding paralyze.

Its a good (for me - easiest) way to make money. make a dagger, enchant with banish. 1000g in my pocket. But I cant help feeling that it breaks the game economics a bit. What do you think? Just don't tell me not to use it :)

I would very much like to see a follower/spouse to smile from time to time, or wink, or look lost in thought, or anything more than what we have. This would be SO great addition to idle animations we have now, but perhaps the time will come (will it? :) when it can be added in specific dialogues.

LE Making the water actually look blue under the water.
Whitefire replied to jimpaw's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I love sailing, swimming, diving, whatever. I do it a lot. Most of the times, water isn't blue underwater. Water is blue when it reflects blue sky. It may be a little different for open sea but we do not have it in Skyrim. Do not take it personally, these are just some thoughts. What we see underwater still could be improved, i believe. -
seriously, can't anyone even tell me if this is only my problem or is it general?

Hi guys, I suspect this might be one of the most common problems here but i (surprise) have problems with shadows. Most especially, with shadows around cooking fires or some such. You can see how it looks like below. i have geforce 8800 gts and i installed Fix Shadows by Valstein0, but it did'nt help. I tried some other things. Same result. Can it be fixed? http://www.mythai.info/images/various/lidia.jpg

Mouse lags (tears) problem, appears from nowhere
Whitefire replied to artstylee's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Wll I have noticed something similar, bu not sure if it's the same. the pointer moves fine but the selecting choices while talking/ in inventory is lagging. A little, but enough to sometimes make me say something different than i intended. -
yeah, the worst part of the game is lack of emotions and complexity of relationships. ANYTHING to help this. It should be like no.1 priority really.

Really the topic name explains itself. Some sort of counter, i was thinking about 2-3 minutes, but it could even be customizable, to prevent the same text being repeated over and over again if it was used recently. I know there are mods out there that make the npcs talk less, but i don't think they do it this way. *eehh. . NO speech, the topic's name should have been NO speech... sorry...

Wonderful ideas here; imho even more complex conversation options would be a great benefit. I think i will wait with the game-marriage until this mod is picked up by someone and done :D

I know it is possible to rename an item while enchanting, but there are hundred things that can go wrong - we forget, we misspell, we hurry because we have limited potion time - anything. Or we find out that the other name could be much better. Can someone please try to make a simple mod allowing to change the name of any item? :)

LE Companion that can ride on you with the horse.
Whitefire replied to OzoneRangerz's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Nice ideas :) Since we spend really a lot of time looking at the companon (more than looking at our own character), generally any idle /casual animations would be soo welcome. -
What do I would like to see most: 1) Happy cooperation between modders so that we get bigger and better mods :)) Well, some of you do that already, so THANKS. 2) Bug fixes. Mainly three: shadows issues; that creepy inventory where i sometimes click on, say, 'MISC' but for some reason the pointer 'misses' and I am taken back to the dialogue screen; plus a growing chance to hear nothing instead of 'Some call this junk, me, i call them treasures', or other such, for the hundreth time from the same person. 3) Mods to make Skyrim more personal. I have seen the unfortunate opinion that Elder Sroll Worlds feel 'empty' when compared to other RPG games, and I kind of agree that the main character is emotionally detached from NPCs and quests. So, nice additional NPCs (followers, wifes, whatnot) with good, deep dialogues, especially with ability to react / comment on main ch. actions (like Lidia noticing 'Healing Hands' - but much, much more) - that is the thing i look forward the MOST. Thanks for reading!
