  1. How would one make a melee weapon use ammo? Specifically, the ripper. I'm trying to make it use one ammo per attack, but setting the ammo to AmmoFlamerFuel doesn't do anything in the ck.
  2. So i'm trying to create a weapon, and i've come to the issue where the model is having some major clipping issues in first person. The model isn't positioned exactly the way I want it. What I initially tried to do to fix it, is copy and paste the original nif file and adjust the position in nifskope for the first person file. Only issue is that it changed both the third person AND first person positioning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. So i'm new to modding, (this is my first mod) and it's a bit difficult on where to find information and how to do things. I've got (what I believe) is the majority of the individual weapon done, but my game crashes to desktop every time I render the weapon either in the pip boy or in the world. I can spawn it into my inventory perfectly fine though, just not look at it. I followed this tutorial on how to do it, but it didn't work when I followed his steps using a pool cue instead of a Chinese officer sword. I want to say it's because I didn't put the proper textures at the time. After doing that, I tried making the weapon use it's own textures and while it DID render the texture and normal map properly in nifskope, it still had the same pitfall as before where it'd crash upon rendering in game. http://i.imgur.com/ANPtA3F.png Of course I could be wrong and there is some human error in my mod, and it would make sense since I have no experience with modding whatsoever. Thanks in advance for any help I may get.
  4. Not sure you put much effort into finding what you need. There's literally a tutorial in how to do it in skyrim made by bethesda themselves, and it's the same thing in fallout 4.
