  1. Is there a mod that adds a system that is similar to WoW's? Or in general, what would be the best (opinion) crafting mod? Skyrim's crafting has always turned me away for some reason.
  2. Is there a mod that overlays unlooted bodies with a glow? Only bodies that haven't been accessed yet. Similar to how the "Unread Books Glow" mod works. Also, here's an idea for a mod. Not sure how much work it would require. It would have a SkyUI requirement. You know how you can assign items to number keys from your favorites? I think an interesting aspect would be to have a hotbar at the bottom of your screen showcasing what you have in each number slot. Like I said, it could use the SkyUI item symbols as a basis. This would allow for easy mod compatibility. So if you have a sword equipped to slot 1 (number 1 on your keyboard), it would show a sword symbol from SkyUI. A potion of healing? It would show a red potion.
  3. Figured out the issue. Turned out to be Immersive Creatures. Narrowed it down after about an hour. Luckily I was able to do a clean save and reinstall IC along with the RC update. All good now.
  4. http://i.imgur.com/BxlLxcZ.png This is really weird. On my main character, a level 15 Nord, I get a constant "flare" on my screen every 10 or so seconds. It's similar to the effect that occurs when using the Frostfall mod while in freezing water. It's not game breaking, but extremely distracting and it only occurs on this character. I disabled Frostfall (yes, the proper way) but to no avail. I love Frostfall so I reinstalled it and contacted the author to see if the issue was with the mod. I gave him my save file and he ensured me that it was not due to Frostfall, but possibly another mod. However I have no idea which mod it could be, and like I said it only happens on this one character. Any chance you guys could help me out? I'll list my BOSS order below.   5. I recently checked out a mod named "The Mines of Moria BETA" (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10493), and upon completion of it, I left the dungeon and continued playing normally. In the comments of the mod, I noticed someone saying something about the mod breaking the lighting for every vanilla dungeon in the game. Sure enough, he was right. I checked a vanilla dungeon and everything was bright with no lighting whatsoever. I immediately uninstalled the mod, but the dungeons are still broken. Now I'm trying to use a mod named "Creepy Dungeons" (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12808) to fix the issue, but it's not working at all. I really really don't want to do a reinstall, as I have a lot of mods installed, etc etc. Any ideas?
  6. I have indeed started a new game and have not installed or deactivated any mods since making that character. It played fine for around an hour before the crashing began. I'm really suspecting that it may be a temperature problem, as my fans and hardware in general isn't the best, but I'm able to run Skyrim on the highest settings, except with shadows on low, and keep a steady framerate of around 25+. Thank you for the help and suggestions, and if you have anymore, it's very much appreciate. :) I'm going to test the Real Wildlife + SkyTEST thing Cataxu. Thank you. I'm also going to list my hardware below for reference: Video Card - GeForce 9800 GT 1GB CPU - AMD Athlon x64 5000+ 2.6ghz RAM - 4GB DDR2 So yeah, definitely not an admirable setup at all, but it's what I have to deal with for right now. :P I'm hoping it doesn't boil down to a mod problem or conflict, because I enjoy all of these and found a balance after testing quite a lot.
  7. It seems that after about 15-20 minutes, my Skyrim will start to crash. Now it's been crashing every time I go near Whiterun. I've verified integrity several times and everything is fine. BOSS even lists all of my mods as compatible and no bad notes. Any ideas?   11. So when I still played WoW, my favorite area was and always will be Teldrassil, the giant tree landmass. I would constantly remake Night Elf characters just to experience Teldrassil again and again. (Yes, I know I could just go back there on a previous character, but it didn't have that fresh, vibrant and unexplored feel to it.) Teldrassil has its own beauty to it, marked with shades of purple, blue and green. The water had a glow to it. And yeah, I know this is all based on a cartoony graphic premise, but it still makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. The music especially added to its atmosphere. Any chance someone would be able to work on a Teldrassil worldspace? Quests and NPCs would be a plus.   12. I love how there's no numbers. I tend to dislike "needs" mods that have specific numbers for each. Like I am 57 hungry and a carrot takes 10 of that away! Totally endorsed and keep up the amazing work.
  13. Not sure if there's already a mod out there that does this, or if there's one that's really similar. Is there any way to make the Oblivion leveling system so it's like Skyrim's? Here's a quote on how the leveling and skill system works: “There are three main stats: magicka, health, stamina. In Oblivion you have 8 attributes and 21 skills. Now it’s 18 skills and 3 attributes. What we found was those attributes actually did something else. e.g. intelligence affected magicka. They all trickled down to some other stat. The stamina/fatigue dilemma: “in the other games the stamina is called fatigue. It’s backwards.” Perks “come from levelling up character rather than skills. Pick a perk when you level. It’s like a standard skill tree but they have requirements, not just the one below it. You see a perk you like and say I’m going to start using my sword more because I want that perk. On the more grindy skill-levelling: “we’ve solved most of that” and “got rid of some skills like Athletics and Acrobatics. Who makes a character that is like “I am someone who doesn’t run?” On dynamic world levelling: “the gameplay changes as you get higher level [because of the perks. Rather than just doing more damage… it’s dramatic… mixing and matching really is different.”
  14. So when I would download a race, for example, let's use Xenius Race Compilation. My favorite out of the pack would have to be the Night Elves. However, I thought it was weird that I was the only Night Elf running around. (Even though it's not lore-friendly.) So how would I go about simply adding NPCs to random areas using an added race, not a vanilla one?
