  1. I do have the Unofficial patch installed, but the entries I mentioned only have Skyrim.esm and Dawnguard.esm affecting them, and the only changes Dawnguard makes to Enchantment Cost and Enchantment Amount. I don't even think they have any relevant effect anyways, which is why I'm wondering what that point of it all is. Edit: On that note, is this even unique to me? Does this only appear in my ESMs or does everyone else have this?
  2. Hi there. First time poster here, and would have probably stayed a lurker longer if not for my OCD bugging me about this thing I found. So, I was trawling TES5Edit researching how to make a new enchantment when I found that curiously, EnchWeaponShockDamage04 and EnchWeaponStaminaDamage05 had changes from Dawnguard.esm that made no sense to me. While the other enchants from their series followed logical increments to Enchantment Cost and Enchantment Amount, these two have different values for some odd reason: 3 changed to 30 for FrostDamage and 17 changed to 51 for StaminaDamage. So what exactly is the deal with that? Was this intentional, for some unapparent reason? Did someone get wanker's cramp while typing back at Bethesda? Are my files corrupted and I need to reinstall all my s#*!? I really want an answer for this. The last time I was pondering something that bothered me, I had a dream where I was discussing horror movie theory with my former boss in a theater full of naked people while The Replacements was playing. It was really awkward.
  3. So, I was inspired by the completely ridiculous Prime Laser and decided create my own mod that uses the same methods but somewhat nerfed. To that end I want to create a reasonable substitute by doing the Unthinkable: by disabling some of the weapon modifications. I searched around a bit and apparently no one has ever brought it up, so I want to know if it's possible in the first place, and if so how it can be done. This one humbly asks for assistance!
  4. http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/scale_small/1/16207/1208127-the_edel_bernal.jpg I'm The Legend Of Das Desu, and I'm a complete and total amateur... so I decided to start modding with Fallout 4 while the game is still fresh. I hope to learn a lot during my time with you all, please be my stepping stones. All joking aside, I really am glad to be here.
  5. The best way to go about it is to use Expired6978's Standalone Power Armor Paint Compiler. It's a tool that allows you to easily create an .esp and the relevant .bgsm files. Of course, you require pre-existing textures to complete your mod. As for tutorials, you can use Jamie1992's Usage Tutorial for said tool. I can profess to the ease of use of this program. Being always frustrated that the coolest looking mods came with crap stats, I worked with this for 2 afternoons and went from complete newb to creating my own private mod.
