Hey guys and gals, I have just repurchased Oblivion but this time I purchased GoTY. What amazes me is neither on this site nor on the official Elder Scrolls site does it say anything about "patches not needed if" or the like. I mean isn't that a required to know piece of information? I just tried installing the Official Shivering Ilse patch on my GOTY install and it barfed saying couldn't find the old file etc. So I am just going to assume that in GOTY that the patch is not needed at all. Would that be a correct assumption? (Some "basis to start from information" would be good methinks for both Elder Scrolls and Nexus to add that simple little bit of slightly important information).....
Well . . . that's a bit disappointing. I thought Oblivion would be perfect for a SoT mod. Oh well . . . thanks. "Truth" be known, hehe, the show royally sucks compared to the books. I actually had to stop watching it because it was actually harming my opinion of the whole thing. "The Proof is in Pudding" so to speak when you compare the fan base of the books vs the fan base of the show and understand just how many actual fans of the books are disappointed with the show! It's not even remotely close to the story lines at all and INMHO is the worst rendition of book to series/movie I have ever seen made! Such a shame too, it could have been the best show ever done!
