After playing Oblivion and Fallout, I know that the default games tend to blow, and with only a couple mods it is practically a different game.
Any good non adult mods that you think are essential? Im picking up a copy of the game tomorrow.
Thanks :)

Try attaching an object script to it that will allow it to be opened and closed. If all that you want is for it to be manually opened and closed by the player then:
scn TenpennyGateCloneScript Begin OnActivate activate End
should work.
If you want it to close automatically again after a time then the script will need to be a bit more complicated. Just make sure that you save your gate as a new, unique renamed item so that you don't overwrite and mess up the original gate.
Sweet thanks

Hmm, Who knows then?

Yes. Im pretty sure something like that is hard coded...
Although, On the other hand I dont know what you did to change to color to start...maybe it's something in there?

Hi all!
I'm trying to make the terminal screens use the same colour scheme as the pipboy.
I got everything working except the scan-lines, which are green (or white if "use alternate colours" is toggled in GECK).
Any help would be appreciated!
If you are talking about how the light scrolls down the screen every few seconds, I dont see how it looks bad or anything.
Plus im not sure how you could change that without having to really edit the game itself for the computers.
Sorry

Hi! I am trying to use the Tenpenny gate in a mod. I am pulling it out of the geck item list as opposed to copy pasting it from the actual ten penny tower...Thing is though, I cant seem to make it usable by the player and I cannot get console codes to open it either.
Any assistance with this matter would be much appreciated, I dont want to use the crappy wire mesh fences and gates AGAIN.

Hi. Would it be possible for someone to make a hoody like (http://www.baysideblades.com.au/inline_skating_pics/skating_clothes/skate_hoodies/rejected_sticky_brown_hoody.jpg)
Also, Blue jeans...Why hasn't anybody made them yet?
Lots of mods try and make your character a supersoldier or fashionable, But what about those who want an average looking character?
Multiple colors would be alright too :) I would make it myself but the only modding I can do is in GECK

Hey everybody.
Posting my idea here because I lack the skills to make anything more than simple mods with Fallout 3. Im trying to see if there's a modder out there who could make a clothing mod that puts wearable sweaters in the game? Ive tried all the types of characters like "Soldier", "Raider", "Rich", "Poor", ect but nowhere have I seen an "Average Guy" look out there...If a nuclear war was to happen tomorrow and you were to start a new life im pretty certain that unless your very lucky you would probably end up running around in sweaters and jeans
The look im thinking of looks like these...

Perhaps an added backpack that looks something like...

And last but not least, Jeans...

Any comments would be appreciated. Not to mention if any modders use this idea ;)
:thanks:

Character Creation - Vanishes after choosing race and class
in Mod Troubleshooting
Posted
Every time I try and make my character, the moment I choose their origins (Human Noble, Ect) the character vanishes until I go back and unselect an Origin.
Anyone know how ot solve this?
Sigh. I went through it and putting points into things like strength or dexterity doesnt work either.
