I don't know why, but suddenly the realization has sunk in that I am going to Marine Corps boot camp in 22 days. I wouldn't say I'm scared, but definitely anxious. I will be scared when I'm there, I'm not afraid to admit it. For those who don't fully understand, Marine Corps boot camp is the most intense boot camp of any military branch. Especially in the first few weeks you are there. Here is a minuscule glimpse of what I'm going to be expecting...
So you can see where the anxiety is coming from.
No, I'm sure it's going to be a good experience, I really want to go and I know it won't be like this the entire time. Speaking of which, the entire time is roughly 3 months, depending on your performance. Being overweight, physically weak, getting injured, or just doing stupid things will set you back. But I'm very excited to go and do something with my life. Being a Marine is something only about 200,000 people in the world get to do, and there's around 6,775,235,741 people in the world, so that says something.
Anyway, I just had to say that to get it off my mind so I can focus on the now a little better.
