lol i got bored one time and made a skooma dealer in IC that sells Uber Skooma. It basically sends you on a trip. I even made a random world cell for it. If you want, throw me some ideas and I'll add them to it. He's just named Skooma Dealer, so if you wanted a name, I could do that too. Once you go on a trip, there's another drink that sends you back, and you wake up in the skooma den too. I'll upload a pic of my skooma dealer. he looks shadier that shady sam lol. and a redguard to boot. Try to give me insanely bizzare ideas for this one.

oh, and the reproduced rooms is just two as far as I can see. I just copied the basement and the main hall w/elder council chamber where Tharn will be. I'm just working on making them slightly more eerie and removing some things from the originals, like the glass of time and disabling a few doors so that you can't somehow exit the palace until Tharn is dealt with. And I need to make Tharn. My CS was being a pain yesterday so I never finished him. I can't remember, but I think he was a Breton. I should actually make him a different race and give him white eyes. that would be interesting. So far, here's how the scenario will work. let me know how you would change it.
You sneak into the imperial palace basement, as Ealdor instructed, finding his Dremora herald hiding in the shadows. He mumbles a few profanities and death threats to you and Ealdor as he gives you the scroll of truth and teleports back to Ealdor's keep. You must use the scroll, as the door locked to get back out, just so nothing weird happens. once activated, the scroll teleports you to the exact same place you're just standing, yet something is different. As you look around, you notice that the glass of time has been replaced with a large statue of Mehrunes Dagon and the other strange artifacts lying in the basement have been replaced with macrabe decorations and evil talismans. Before you can move, a palace guard walks up behind you. Startled, you look back at him only to realize that he is nothing more than an animated skeleton in palace garb. He doesn't attack, but instead, walks towards the door to the main hall and you get the notion that he wishes you to follow. You pass into the main hall as the guard leads you past several more of his skeletal comrades, who simply watch you hungrily as you pass. finally you reach the council chamber and the skeleton stands post at the entrance, seeming to bid you to enter. As you cross the threshhold, you see a figure clad in black robes sitting at the far end of the room, his eyes shine bright from under his hood. "I was beginning to wonder when you would see through my illusion." The figure rasps. you <say nothing>, "Who.. Who are you?", "Identify yourself!" "I have been waiting for you, hero. You've been a very good servant these past months. I chose my 'Champion' wisely. I must admit, I would never have thought it possible for a mere peasant to overthrow Mehrunes Dagon. But yet here you are." you say, "what do you mean?" "Allow me to explain... the end of the septim line has been planned out for some time now. Ever since I was humiliated those many years ago by Uriel's little pest, I've longed for vengeance. I was sent to the furthest corner of Oblivion, to the feet of Mehrunes Dagon himself. There, I made a deal with him. A bid for power. He was to return me to the land of the living, in the mind of a powerful political figure, Ocato, and I, in turn would help him orchestrate his invasion of Tamriel. But I would not simply stand idly by and let Dagon take Tamriel for himself, no. I've watched you for a long time. It was I who had you thrown into the Imperial Prison. I, who instilled your 'Prophecy' into the mind of Uriel Septim. Along with the help of Dagon's cult, I sent the Septims to their death. You were my insurance to make sure that the Daedric Prince would never get a hold on Tamriel once they were out of the way. Why else did you think you survived this long? And now, you've done your job, and once again, I, Jagar Tharn, am at my rightful place in the throne of the Emperor!" you say, "You used me Tharn... And now, I kill you!" "That's where you're wrong, my child. Kill him/her!" Tharn Teleports to the upper lever of the council chamber, out of reach and a flood of guard skeletons pours in to destroy you. Once their bones scatter the chamber floor, you run down the hallway, firing fireballs at the stragglers who attempt to slow you down. You run up the ramp to find Tharn at the top balcony. The railings have been removed, so you'd better be careful not to slip or you will fall to your death. Tharn, "<wicked laugh> I'll admit, you're resourceful, child. but your life is at an end. I will kill you myself." Tharn casts a spell that makes him at least 10 feet tall, he hurls spell after spell at you as you try desperately to dodge. You pull out the magic dagger Ealdor had given you to defeat the Battlemage with. You dodge a blast of lightning and sink the dagger into his flesh. Tharn retains his normal height and falls to the ground in a heap, then suddenly, bursts into flame as his skn is seared off, straight to the bone. You wait until the fire smoulders and you see his heart, still beating in his ribcage. You take it from his body, and feel a surge of energy. You are forced to close your eyes, and when you open them, you are standing back at the original palace balcony, the railings are back, Tharn's body is gone, and you still hold his heart. The spell is broken. Now to return the heart to Ealdor.
I've got spells that alter height. I can script Tharn to burst into flames and turn into a charred skeleton. however, I cannot make his heart in his ribcage. it will just be in his corpse's inventory. But I can most likely do everything else, short of voice acting and lip synch. someone else will have to do that.
-
Grr. changing the scale of some things, like skulls, messes with the collision data or something and my giant skull keeps falling through the floor  but i think it seems to stay if its sitting on a few crates. same with the giant septim. oh and I think it's just about impossible to make chronomancy available for spellmaking. I could do armor and creature summons, but not chronomancy. >:( frustration. oh well, I think we just need a lesser power anyways, and i already have that. Now I need to figure out the slow time thing. that would have to be a greater power. It might be game-breaking if it could constantly be used. The chronomancy is too, but it's still borderline balanced so i think i'll keep it lesser power for now. maybe I'll add some kinda detrimental effect to make it a little more balanced, but balance isn't my focus right now.
-
yeah =[ i could've told you that. :( That's why someone needs to create an imperial watch armor mesh to fit skeletons. kinda like how midas' magic used elven armor. or the vanilla db armor on dark guardians. sadly, I have no idea how to make meshes
-
ok, well i kinda have a chronomancy spell. i'll try and fit it into a real magic slot but no guarantees. basically you just cast it and the target is frozen there in that pose until the effect wears off, completely open to attack.

Actually, scratch the portal idea. Ealdor should give you a scroll or something that teleports you to the real palace. like a scroll of truth, like the lens of truth from zelda. That way, there's no idle going through portals and back making it less believeable. Just have Ealdor tell the player to meet him in the palace's basement, have him give you a scroll there, and use the scroll to transport to the True Palace, though seemingly the player just unmasks Tharn's magic with the scroll of truth. Then you can't return until you've dealt with Tharn. That seems like it would flow better. I might be able to make that part. Actually, maybe "Bob" can be the one to give you the scroll. Ealdor's too hardcore to waste time playing delivery boy. :mage: lol
-
lol, bob was pretty funny though. but it takes the seriousness from the quest. a bit. Maybe he can be "Gilgamesh" some sumerian king turned demi-god, not him but the name. Or Izdubar as he was accidentally called, which sounds like a good Dremora name. Or just call him Ealdor's Herald.
Also, about Tharn. He should have his own little place in the Imperial Palace. I'm thinking somewhere in the palace basement that leads to an alternate version of the imperial palace, slightly different, and having Tharn in place of Ocato. So just duplicate the cells in the imperial palace and have some kind of portal/hatch that leads to the alternate palace basement and back to the original palace basement. Since Tharn has magic that lets him create his own dimensions and create epic illusions, this could be the True Palace, being that this is what the palace really looks like when not obscured by Tharn's magic. Once Tharn is dead, or sometime before, the player, and maybe Tharn if he's alive, will move to the original palace, and the portal to the True Palace will disable, making the regular palace be the True Palace, and Tharn's illusion will be broken. Then Tharn gets brutally killed.
Also, if someone is good at meshes, I think it would be awesome to have the imperial palace guards in the alternate palace be skeletons wearing imperial palace armor. I don't care if they're hostile or not, preferrably not, as they would still technically be the same guards, just with their true appearance unmasked.
As a matter of fact, the alternate palace should contain a bunch of things that are somewhat the same but more aimed at evil, i.e. the torches have blue flames, instead of a giant club in the basement, a giant bone, random blood puddles, dead people who Tharn didn't particularly agree with, statues of Daedric Princes, especially Mehrunes Dagon, etc. but nothing too drastically different.
-
Lol I agree, Ocato is creepy. He could totally be Tharn. And the only reason he was so happy that the hero defeated Dagon is because he didn't have to share his power with him and is now the ruler of Tamriel again, maybe he even planned to use the player to eliminate Dagon from square one, using his powers to give the emperor visions of you and the oblivion gates opening, then he struck his deal with Dagon so that the Mythic Dawn would hunt down the emperor and his heirs and the emperor would come to you, his ace in the hole, for help. So the entire main questline could have been orchestrated by Ocato (Tharn) to gain the empire and throw Dagon out of the picture when he was no longer useful. And then you kill the little weasel and create a god.
then there's gotta be some way to totally anihillate him so he can never come back. maybe its just the heart thing. or maye by killing him in favor of Ourobouros, he gets sent to the space between time or something nasty like that.
-
Since we being all lore-sy, we should make the imperial battlemage who's heart needs to be taken, a reincarnation of Jagar Tharn. Ha, now we can span this quest over every single elder scrolls game. I wonder what the creators of the game would say if they heard this idea. It's a pretty epic idea. more of a completely new game than a simple quest. Maybe we could even throw in another elder scroll. that would help us get around a lot of plot holes since the elder scrolls can do just about anything. except someone would have to read it and go blind because of that. maybe oruboros himself could be blinded. Since nobody can see the true path of time, time itself should be blind, right?
just a bunch of spontaneous thoughts

well, thankfully bethesda left a happy little opening in the CS for an extra summon of your choice. I wish they left more but I can't complain. It's completely bug-free and works just like a real summon. you need to change the magic settings. there's an Extra Summon 20 that you can add a slaughterfish to. To change the setting in CS, go to the bar up top that says "Gameplay menu" then click on the drop menu to "Magic effects" The one your looking for is called "Z020 Extra Summon 20" select it and you can set the base cost, the ability to use it for spellmaking, the name (Summon Slaughterfish), the icon, casting sounds, school (conjuration). Then change the "Use Creature" setting to CreatureSlaughterfish, or make your own, more powerful slaughterfish, and you've got it. just go to the list of spells in CS and when you add an effect, summon slaughterfish should be a choice. then make a spell or two with it, give the spells to NPC's that sell spells, and buy it from them in game. I've done this before and replaced a few weaker summons like faded wraith with other animals, like wolves, mountain lions, and boars. It just helps make a stable summon without the scripting mess

This is an awesome idea! maybe i can try to make some parts of it. Especially the spells, I really wanna try my hand at chronomancy, I've made spells that turn people into stone and freeze them for a set time, so maybe I could do something like that with the time thing, except make it a toggled freeze/unfreeze spell. as in the first cast freezes them permanently and if you cast it on someone frozen it will return them to normal. The slow and speed up time will be tricky, I don't know if its possible.. but it must, because deadly reflex uses slow motion for criticals. Maybe some of my necromancers spells that I'm working on would work with this too.
Ourobouros? The black sludgy thing from Resident Evil 5? Lol nevermind, it's all good.

no that's the point, there is no hot love with cutter. it's cold blood and mutilation. hence the axe-ing. Hm, how to explain... it's like um, fairly oddparents with the ugopatamians, or whatever (there is some education recieved while babysitting) they are the exact opposite of humans in that, hugs=death, staples to face=true love. Ergo, cutter's way of expressing her total and undeniable love of you would be to hack you into dog chow. After all, she is from Sheogorath's realm
-
Ah, Genesis. my fav character in Crisis Core. If anything, I would just want his sword. It's so freakin awesome. it should have the ability to change like it does in the game where he like mutters some stuff and runs his hand across it and the blade glows red and the sword behaves like a friggin lightsaber. yeah, that would be impossible
-
ooh and you can give her presents! like severed heads and grummite eyes! And +20 rep to Cutter if your a vampire. I imagine they're right down her alley. plus you gonna need new clothing for cutter. goth/punk/emo dresses/outfits, either non-safe or safe, depending on taste. I just don't know how easily it will be to make "lore friendly" outfits of that category. She strikes me as one of those girls that would be all about a big masqurade ball like on van helsing, maybe this can be one of those 'dates' And if your up to it, a new dungeon themed house for you and cutter to live in, complete with blood spatter, bones, and occasional corpses. Also, there could be an "oh, sh**!" ending to the relationship when she starts to act extremely provactive and just when you think you're gonna get some, she tries to kill you with an axe.
Just some random ideas ;D

*WARNING* Adoring Fan Idea *ACTHUNG!*
So one time I got bored and made a mod that takes the adoring fan and makes it so when you kill him, two more of him spawn. Imagine the horrifying reprecussions. Or the endless hours of glee, hacking through a swarm of Adoring fans.
-
Ok, well if your going for peasants, then you of course need to incorporate Trogdor the Burninator.
A pit of death from 300, that you can kick random ppl down and shout THIS IS SPAAARRTAAA!!
The rednecks should have an old yeller summon which basically just summons a useless lab that lays down and licks his...
A boomerang, that you are not quite able to catch when it comes back.
A spell that makes the target start juggling chainsaws.
A monster truck style anouncer for the arena.
A dude with a deathly fear of beautiful half-naked women
Super drunkeness, its like spinning around for 20 minutes and running in a "straight" line
Leprechauns with a mean streak. Hence "the fighting Irish"
Throw tomatoes that splatter on random NPCs
A spell that makes the target laugh uncontrollably and defenseless
A magical kingdom ruled by a wee little kittah
Cruise missile strikes, mercenaries style
Adoring fan overhaul, complete with gruff beard, shades, a cigar, and a minigun
For the mime, a spell that traps the target in an invisible box
meh good enough for now

hm or just get the mod for "Ring of console"
Speaking of random memes, someone should make the shoop da woop guy. that would be awesome. Basically just a huge blue beam that destroys everything in its path. add the sound effect, IMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR!!!! and poof you got it. Maybe have a delay so it says that first and while the lazer fires it says BLAAAAAHHH!!! If your completely lost, just watch "the lazer collection" on youtube

no, no thats the trick you see. the infamy and fame is the masks fame and infamy. the player's infamy has no impact at all. the masks themselves will give you a completely different identity like the gray cowl. if you commit good/bad deeds wearing the masks it will become stronger/useless and you will just have an unequippable mask until you get it cleansed/corrupted. but I really like the idea of the mask shattering if you betrray it. The quest is for the masks. not the player. you could even do vanilla quests to increase fame and infamy.
-
so I made a mod the other day with lamoyja's armored mask mod and applied an altered version of the gray cowl script to it. then I got this awesome idea. So apparently, the mischevious god, lorkhan made two masks, well before he was hunted down and mutilated by the other gods. anyway, these masks have within them the very fabric of destiny woven into them. One possesses the courage, honor, and might of a noble hero. The other, the greed, bloodlust, and deceit of an evil villain. When donned, these masks give the player immense power, and in turn, transforms them into one of these warriors. While wearing the mask, the player takes on a completely different identity and their choices influence the masks power. If the player wears the heroes mask and does good deeds, the masks power and potential increases, however, if the player is evil in spirit while wearing the mask, their power wanes and eventually, the mask cannot be worn and must be cleansed by a priest. The opposite would work for the villains mask, where evil deeds generates power and good deeds result in lack of power and eventual rejection in which the player must corrupt the mask through a daedra worshipper. The masks will come with their own questlines where the players actions will either generate fame or infamy based on the way they solve the problems. Eventually, the player will reach a point where the masks power is at it's peak and threatens to forever bind itself to the wearer. The player can then opt to destroy the mask, or embrace it's power and forever wield it as the hero or the villain.
This mod would be fairly easy, but would require a lot of planning and quest-making to make it flow evenly and believeably. I hope to use voice acting when necessary. I'm not a fan of mods without voice acting as it sort of ruins the believablilty and makes the experience weaker. Also, I wonder how the game would continue to progress as far as completing other quests, as you would have a permanant mask and therefore a permanant alter ego. Also, I'm wondering what the mask should do if it is permanantly bound and the player is excessively good/bad and would normally render the mask unusable until cleansed/corrupted. My thought is that the mask would just be destroyed. but if you could think of something more creative, feel free to say so.
-
ok so I can't believe this hasn't been done yet. Aztec gold from pirates. you get the coin in your inventory and it basically just makes you look undead and i'm thinking just adds the setghost flag on yourself so that normal weapons don't affect you. something like that. maybe other powers/disadvantages. I just thought i'd get the idea out
-
ah i almost forgot you can only have 10 items in a menu. you would have to subdivide the weather types into other menus i.e. normal weather, oblivion weather, Lost Spires weather, etc then have the different weather types listed in those categories. I just hate making the menus. also there's some personal preference things with the weather. if you want it to instantly change into the desired weather, the line is forceweather. however, if you want it more natural, setweather makes the weather change at a gradual rate with a realistic feel instead of just poof its snowing.
-
have you not completed the main quest? they make a statue of you in bruma. if you just mess with the script you could make a statue of yourself whenever and wherever you want
-
yeah. very easy. but i'm too lazy to download lost spires and stuff. so sorry. maybe some other day.
-
meh. my quest isn't scary enough. it's not worth uploading. when i get a good grasp on meshing and texturing and i throw them all together, then i will have a quest that will make pyramid(triangle?)head shat himself. i'm talking about skinned humans, dogs, other creatures, big bloody butcher knives, blood and gore abound, a horrible bloody death around every single corner, just like dead space, and a really hardcore dracula that has all the attributes of a REAL vampire. by REAL vampire i mean none other than the legendary KAIN. So just be prepared to fight a bloodthirsty vampire that can drain your blood with a single spell, flay your skin from your bones, turn into a wolf and rip out your throat, or just turn into mist and go into your lungs and solidify, ripping you apart into a big gory heap. Or if he's merciful, just pulling out a giant sword that blows you apart and steals your soul. yes pyramid head: owned
