  1. It's alright, I finally got the file and the game is working like a charm! :)
  2. Ya neither am I.. :P I'll have to see so... If anyone is willing to upload it, would be appreciated...
  3. Are you sure it would be illegal? Since I purchased the game legally am I not entitled to have that file?
  4. Well... A small bit of blemish I suppose, not very noticeable and some scratches, hard to say what the problem there is. I have heard that there were some problems with some of the games published (bad quality discs or something). Regardless of, I have tried everything for days (nearly weaks now) and would really like to get my (virtual) hands on that file! Its killing me! lol :)
  5. Yes, I have tried that too. Have even made an image of the disc and mounted it virually without success... Its just broken unfortunately.
  6. Heh, your lucky that you found the source of the problem, Fallout 3 seems to have gotten a reputation for frequent random crashes. Very annoying as Oblivion never had this many crashes. Ah well... Sure keep us updated whether the problem really is resolved. :)
  7. Hi, As it seems, I attempted to install Fallout 3 but it gave me a CRC error when it came to the "Fallout - MenuVoices.bsa" file. I retried without succes so I simply ignored this error. The rest of the installation went fine so I started the game succesfully and started playing a new game. Everything seemed to be going fine until the part of your 10th birthday where you must talk to everyone in that room to continue. Unfortunately, this is where I get stuck. Talking to some people causes the game to crash just as it goes into the dialogue (due to the broken MenuVoices.bsa file). I have tried everything to fix this but to no avail. Bottom line, is there anyone out there who would be willing to upload their "Fallout - MenuVoices.bsa" file (1GB) from their Fallout 3 Data folder? Please, it would be highly appreciated... :)
  8. Heh, the problem is resolved now, turns out the problem was moDem's City Life mod, caused the game to crash for whatever reason. Took a lot of trial and error, but when I eventually found out it was this specific mod, I disabled it for a while, my character played smoothly, and after a while of playing, I turned it back on and everything's working fine now... :) Thanks for your time regardless... :)
  9. Oblivion crashes after a few minutes of loading my safe (or my account from that point). I have played Oblivion with this account or character for over 85 hours and I was just in the middle of the Shivering Isles main quest. It seems to crash at the exact same time... My Oblivion is totally updated (v1.2.0416), I am using OBSE and quite a few mods. I also have all the Unofficial Patches installed too. My character is level 32, I think. I think I remember that this used to be a problem for characters with 100 hours gameplay roughly (with Shivering Isles installed) that Oblivion would simply crash... Are there any solutions to this? Any help is highly appreciated!
  10. Well, no it is definetly not the GOTY version; Oblivion, Shivering Isles and Knights Of The Nine are all separate and have been separately bought. I'm also pretty sure the patch isn't preinstalled as my current version is v1.2.0201, whereas the latest patch is 1.2.0416..?
  11. Well, you see, I attempted to install the "ShiveringIsles_v1.2.0416English.exe" file which, I'm pretty sure, is the right file... And my oblivion.exe is definetly not hacked as I tried to install the patch directly after I installed Oblivion, followed by Shivering Isles and Knights Of The Nine plugins, without ever starting Oblivion. But thanks for the help anyways. :) Any further ideas?! P.S. In the Main menu it says that the game version is v1.2.0201 if that helps.
  12. Hi all. I seem to be having a problem with the v1.2.0416 patch, I am unable to install it as it gives the usual "Old file not find" error after I clean-installed Oblivion, then Shivering Isles and finally all the Knights Of The Nine plugins. I hadn't even started the game when I attempted to install the patch and it gave me that famous error... :wallbash: Oh, and I installed the game in a different location than the default ("C:\Program Files\Bethesda..." etc"), although I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with it. Any help is highly appreciated.
