Hey guys. I've recently installed Deadly Reflex and the required mods to make it work. I'm having quite a bit of fun, but as my topic states, my damn rings keep unequipping when going into 1st person; they will not stay equipped even if I go to my inventory and put them back on, as they just unequip when I exit my inventory. Strangely enough, the Rings will re-equip if I go into 3rd person. So far, only rings are unequipping themselves while in 1st person. Hi guys. I've posted about issues that I have been having with a particularly nasty version of the Lucky 38 elevator bug (where you cannot get Victor to take you to where you want to go). Attempts to kill Victor, most console commands, and suggestions by the community have failed; I have a MCIR keyboard so I always have issues with it reinstalling itself, making console commands a pain in the ass. Thus, I was wondering if someone in the modding community would be able to create a two way teleporter on the casino floor that links to the penthouse floor (allowing me to bypass this stupid bug). Thanks for reading guys.

Lucky 38 elevator bug

Deactivated both, didn't help. This is more tied towards the game itself it seems, and not mods. Everything was working fine on my last playthrough. I've tried killing all the robots in the casino to no avail, and i've tried opening companion wheels next to Victor; no dice. Everything that is important (Fook, etc) has been updated, and i can't think of anything that would interfere with the elevators operation. I'll give the raven patch a go, but it seems the game has put its hand up and said "lol no". Edit: the raven patch didn't work. Seems the game wants to drag its heels on this. Edit two: deactivating all mods did not solve the problem... definitely dealing with a game bug, not a mod bug. Looks like i have to go to the company site for TS. -
Hi guys. I've just gotten to the Lucky 38 and am trying to get to the penthouse to kill Mr. House (wild card quest). However, i cannot progress to the penthouse after talking to Victor. After selecting "penthouse|, the game glitches and won't let me talk to Victor or activate the elevator. I've used console commands to try to bypass this, but the elevator remains bugged after completing this quest. I've also tried to activate the elevator via the console, and it just drags me up to the suite, and not the penthouse. Can anyone help out? Thanks. P.S. I'm aware that I have mods active; however, google searches have shown this is a cross platform problem. I've patched to the latest version for the game itself. Thank you for your quick reply. I have the most up-to date version of FOOK2, and have been using Fo3Edit (that's why i have "patch.esp" at the bottom of my load order :P)... been using it since i started with the whole modding scene... I also have the most up-to date WMK and FOIP patches. And I have been using Aii; wouldn't have been able to get this far without it. Am also using stutter fix. I fear that my profile has been corrupted due to Animated Prostitution; i was pimping Nova in Rivet City when her AP script when buggy. Ever since, Stability has gone out the window. As well, the texture problems only occur in a few spots. They tend to happen with skeletons, as two get spawn in the exact same spot. I can pull the first skeleton and reveal another one. That is why i've concluded that there are two cells or texture spawning in on each other in some areas. And Samustus: don't waste time typing all that stuff out next time. It's my bad, I should have included that info. Save yourself some time and ask next time if i have the patches and stuff in question; i don't want somebody typing all that stuff out only for me to say "got all that already" and then feel like crap for making you type that out :P Thank you for attention and assistance -
FOOK unity appears to be down, so i'm posting here in hopes that you guys can help. "Got a bit of a problem... when I try to enter the deathclaw sanctuary, my game crashes. As well, certain areas in FOOK 2 are flickering while the PC is moving. I've noticed that certain skeletons have spawned inside of each other, and will flicker as a result... is there a double layer of mesh and textures in these problem areas? I have a texture pack installed, but this issue occurred before the pack in question was installed.

Hi. Been looking at a certain stealth kill mod that allows a player to obtain a perk that lets them kill an opponent from behind if they remain undetected. The author in question has stated that the animation was wonky when he attempted to animate the action, and led to all sorts of issues. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7208 So my question is: is it possible to get an animation(s) done for a stealth kill? I know the author of this mod (and other authors) have stated that it was impossible to get these animations to work, but it would be awesome to have an animation, rather than having the NPC just fall down. problem with with RH IRONSIGHTS MOD

You may have figured it out by now, but RH ironsights only works with weapons that are supported. That M16 mod you are talking about is not supported. -
Hi guys. I recently installed the Brisa companion mod and, forgetting not to mix scripts, decided to have sex with her using Animated prostitution. After we concluded, i saved and went on my merry way. Five minutes later i went to 3rd person, and realized my game's POV was reversed, in that it was on my left side now. I've tried console commands and 3rd person mods to fix this, but nothing works. Can anyone render assistance? Thanks.

I recommend you get acquainted with the FO3edit training guide; specifically, conflict filtering and manual path plug in's. That's what i used in order to fix the hair pack conflicts. When you gain a better understand of how this stuff works, look at agebasedbodies.esm (after FO3edit is done analyzing your load order) and note the conflicts (in red). Click on one and note the one conflict that agebasedbodies.esm has with your hair pack... its likely that it is "race" and is the only conflict present. You will want to create an override that has agebasedbodies.esm as the overriding file. Right click on agebasedbodies.esm, create the override, and then skim agebasedbodies.esm in FO3edit to determine what the override is conflicting with. At this point, drag and drop the hair pack conflict losers into the newly created override (ignore the "race" conflicts at this point, you want agebasedbodies.esm to win that conflict). Once you are done with all the conflicted races, simply continue with your merged patching, and that should fix it. If your continuing a saved game, there may still be one or two NPC's that fall victim to the "old age" bug; but for the most part, Body control and the strap on should work properly. If you are starting a new game, there should be no problems. Hope that helps.

Hi guys. First time on the forums. I am currently experiencing problems where i get some far into a game and then when i get to a certain point on the map, the game continuously CTD's. This occurs when i try to fast travel, save or enter a new area (ie: from capital wasteland to silver's cottage). I experienced these problems when i was still using the MERC currency mod, so i deleted it. I started a new character, got to lvl 8, and when i tried to move from springvale to fort independence (or anywhere for that matter), the game CTD's. When i try to save, it CTD's. This has occurred with both the MERC character and the new one. What is odd is that i have been able to restart fallout 3, load my save, save again, successfully safe, move towards the "problem area", try to save and then CTD. The game seems finicky on when it wants to let me save without crashing. I have done some downloading over the past couple days and have installed a few mods, but i don't think they are the cause.
