About vannixiii

  1. Those who played The Witcher (one or two doesn't really matter) will surely remember the "Unguents" he used for temporarily enchanting his swords (causing extra damage to certain foes). I'm not a modder but I'm sure that using some parts of the Elemental Fury Shout's script, we can create temporarily enchantments for our weapons. It would be quite intriguing, I guess. What do you think guys?
  2. Mmm.. kay but even now that I tried using just one, or combinations or none at all, of those previously-listed fps boosters, I still get those annoying spikes. My pc doesn't even sound like it is overloaded with processes.
  3. Hey there, I'm having problem with lag spikes in Skyrim. I used the STEP guide to optimize the Skyrim.ini conf and mods like SkyBoostR3 and FPS Booster V1.1 to increase my FPS. In result, I have a costant framerate of 30-35 fps but sometimes I get the game stucked for a second or two and the framerate drops to 0. This is my pc configuration: Intel Core 2 Quad 2,50Ghz G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB DDR3 Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB DDR5 I tried setting everything from Ultra to High (with and without using HD texture packs, ENB series filters or things like that) but spikes still remained. How can I fix them?
  4. Guys, I have this issue too and it appeared when I upgraded the Nexus Mod Manager. I don't have steam installed and I was not using WATER when this warning message popped up. How can I fix it?
  5. I know Vannixii and I share some different oppinions on our vampirism goals, although he's made me reconsider my approaches. Actually, both he and Jakisthe have provided some thoughts. I think Vannixii and I currently share a similar oppinion on this. I don't think Vannixii is considering older/higher level vampires being damaged by sunlight at the highest level, but dose remove the ability to regenerate. Given the name of the highest level, I imagine this is because Dracula was depicted as being able to go into the sun light and it wasn't fatal for him. Jakisthe's take is that the closer you become to being a higher level Vampire, the more intense the typical negative effects become. I may reconsider my take, because certainly as younger vampires you should be weaker than your older vampires, but to simultaneously increase their power as older vampires and decrease their weaknesses may be too overpowering and I think the dynamics of having to vary your play style as you level could be fun as well. -MM Actually, my point of view is the same as for Jakisthe. As I said in my latest update to the first post, I consider vampires as "mutants" affected by a magic curse which cause them to be tainted with dark powers. The higher level the vampire gets, the greater his weakness become as the dark infection goes deeper through the human body. Only when you reach the maximum level of vampirism (which is Draculean), your weakness become slightly less significant and you gain the ability to walk into the sunlight again, because the human nature of the soul inside the body has finally been able to overcome (after a hard fight) the feral demonic-creature within.
  6. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6332 I want just to report you all this mod so in case anyone is working on this overhaul, a winged skeleton may be useful for the vampire beast form :)
  7. OMG!! That is awesome :Q I never thought it was realizable. Great job man!! :D
  8. Yeah, you're right :) I took some of your ideas (just those which not require much time to be realized) and I integrated them with my mod. Take a look :)
  9. Updated and integrated with some of Jakisthe ideas. Now vampirism has 6 levels
  10. they're really intresting ideas. I had many of them too (the garlic and silver thing or the wall walk) but since they need a great work to be implemented, I discarded them. For example, garlic weakness it's not a real handicap because nobody forces you to eat garlic lol. The same is for silver swords. Actually almost nobody uses them ingame so, there's no way it can really be a problem for the player. You can add a Vampire Hunters faction for that but it wouldn't really overhaul the gaming experience significantly. Anyway, they're nice easter eggs :) For the wall walk, I thought it would be rather problematic because it would need a third person animation for that. I had an idea about a mist form to pass through locked doors and grids in my mod but I discarded it because it would mess with many aspects of the game. The Speechcraft increase it's a really good idea, same as for the Lightsap and the non-aggressive animals (I think that they should be scared by your presence instead of just indifferent). Anyway, vampires don't suck blood from dead bodies. It is almost deadly for them so, nothing to do with this :| Also, the water-repellence could be really problematic because if someone sips into a lake, he may become unable to get out of it without fast traveling somewhere. Your ideas are full of nice easter eggs but I guess they would change too significantly the gaming experience. Moreover, they need a lot of work to be put into the game and such new mechanics would probably burden it. We have to keep everything almost nice and smooth. Anyway, great work and great imagination :)
  11. I loved that mod, the idea of Bat Swarm spell is actually taken from there :3
  12. I hope someone helps me lol. Thank you!
  13. The most of my ideas use the actual contents of Skyrim. Nothing is intended to be implemented. Everything is already there. This should grant to modders the chance to make a good work without spending too much time in scripting and implementing new functions. The vampires that I inteded to create with my ideas are humans affected by a sort of mutation that slowly push them toward the inner beast, the giant bat-thing that is released by the blood hunger. They're powers grow as their humanity slowly fades so, as their dark powers get stronger, the light will weaken them until the point of damaging them. Also, on neophyte vampires, the mutation starts with enhancing their body resistence to frost, diseases and poisons and their primary senses (sight and smell). Then, on level 2, their bodies will get furtherly stronger and their first mental powers will start showing. On level 3, the vampire is fully developed, has gained whole control over his shadow and mental manipulation skills and the human side of the subject is almost subdued to its demonic counterpart. This is it! Your plan is cool and all but you'll need a lot of work. Anyway, thanks for sharing :)
  14. Since you can feed just once per night, you'd probably get old to become a master vampire XD Anyway, yours it's a good idea, thanks for commenting and sharing :)
