Manually delete the Fallout folder. Reinstall to C:\Fallout3 to avoid any potential conflict with the damn window's security crap. I know it sounds weird but I was havin the same problem and it didn't occour until reinstallation. There was no interference with initial installtion. then copy your C:\Fallout3\Data folder to something like C:\Fallout3backup\Data. Makes playin around with mod configurations much easier and its a much shorter cut and paste than reinstall.

yeah if you set a dirty bomb off in Underworld they'd probably make you honorary mayor...... f*#@in zombies....

My recomendation for the future is to introduce as many children as you can to pc gaming to move them away from the counsol. One day hardrives will be illegal. Welp I was playin on Very Hard. The whole land 5 rounds in the head out of a sniper rifle thing was killing me. So I kicked it down to Hard. I mostly sneak and shot from way past the range of vats, unfortunatly the stock sniper rifle is poo and nowere near what I'd call a sniper rifle so i use alexscorpion's Barrett .50 cal, but the scope is WAY to shaky, it was obviosly made by some1 who is either a very poor marksmen or never actually shot a gun. The other sniper I use is the Marksman's Dream from DantheGeeks Underground hideout, unfortunately it is just that, a dream. Silenced with that much power and range, not out of a pistol round, sorry. I just pretend like its a 30-06 and not a .32, but it still bugs me. Since I've discovered these increase spawn size mods and started using FWE I think I'm gonna lower it to Normal cause it seems to have completely negated the effects of armor. It'slike runnin aroundd naked, and it makes it imposible to actually run around naked, which I usta like to do in vanilla. Neked as a jay bird with a shady hat and some shades snipin away:)

The nuclear winter would get any nation that wasn't nuked, especially if it lasted longer than 1 year. There have been a few instances in known history where this has happened for a season. It's believed one of these "nuclear winters" was responsible for the famine that brought on the French Revolution. If this winter last more than a few growing season most ppl would be dead in most places from starvation. So only ppl in vaults, survivalist, folk who got lucky and found the motherload of MRE stockpiles. Even isolated islands would get it in the winter. Some 1 else already mentioned that in the Cold War battle plan, and probably even today, you get it for being a place of strategic value, they don't care which side you fall on. If you're a strategic nation and wanna play it neutral the chances the only way you don't get nuked by every1 is if they run out of nukes. The MOST likely nation to survive would be Switzerland. They have an exstensive network of underground forts left over from WWII and would be expanding on those in the Fallout timeline. There was alot of war leading up to this it wasn't a surprise. They probably already have factories in their forts but don't advertise it. North Korea and Iran both have extensive underground factory networks too hide their modern day activities from US satalites. There are also rumors that the Japanese have a similar setup due to their paranoia about China and their long established belief that the entire American economic system is imaginary and is doomed to colapse. The Japanese believe the only real economy is a manufacturing economy, the rightwingers published a book about it in 1989 but it has never been translated into english. Don't let the business suit fool you, the Samuri still run Japan. Thx to the recent advent of nuclear bunker busters it's questionable how much of even these industrial facilities would survive, As for factories in America, well, we just aint got enough of them for any to survive. It would be a short target list to hit them all and if the government has any underground they sure as hell don't talk about it. Africa would most likely remain untouched if Fallout branches off in 1989 before the Cold War ends, which we can assume it does. If China still persues its current course Africa would get it pretty bad since China is establishing a presence hard core there right now too harvest their resources. There are several hundred thousand Chinamen in Africa as we speak establishing the infastructure too pipe raw material back to the factories in the fatherland. The South America would probably be alright as far as mushrooms go, but all the petty dictators and cartels would be too busy playing tribal warlord with whoever survived the winter. Most likely only the drug cartels would survive because of their under ground facilities and transport fleets would give them ample ability to gather supplies, not to mention the guns they already have and being usta living on the land. The dictators would make sure they were alright and so would their wealthy inner circles. The average South American would me S.O.L. except for ppl living up in the highlands. Most of their major cities being on the coast and exsposed IMHO not many would be left. The cold living folk like those in Alaska and Siberia would be double dog *banned* cause with the winter they would all turn to pop sickles. As far as Iceland and its importance to the American military as a weather station for the North Atlantic the Russians would blast the piss out of it too cut off the hop stop for Amerrican AF. well I think that pretty much covers every1 and its more words than any1's gonna read anyway. hope this TMI helps

I too like Riley's Rangers cause its the only decent merc company in the game. Not to mention it's the first time in three games that I've used anything other than power armor. I would like too see some sort of exspansion on the Rangers

....is this normal, does any1 else have this problem? I have the same problem with the game unless I exit the main menu.

Sounds like a good idea cept maybe a few things are plot inconsistent. 1. It's the wasteland, your bare knuckles boxing club doesn't havta be underground. 2. Given the danger of traveling in the waste it's very unlikely you would get very many customers since most ppl aren't keen on risking their life too see a fight. Hense little gambling, and gambling revenue is the only reason for a fight club. A few non gambling related popped up after fight club, and where are those now? With his prime location in Megaton, which is a trade hub, hense High traffic, Moriarty wouldn't open it out in the waste where his customers could get killed on their way too give him their money. 3. Why go back too the changing rooms? This is the wasteland. You win you live, you lose you die. IMHO the best thing for this idea would be too combine it with the Moriarties Strip Club mod as a third floor of the club. Making Moriarty the undisputed king of wasteland vice, as long as you add drugs too Gob's inventory. Booze, drugs, strippers, hookers (yes there is a difference, if ever so subtle), bare knuckled death matches. The only thing missing would be sellin slaves and Morty wouldn't do that cause human trafficing would cut into his sex peddling business. aside from those minor points great idea I'd love too become undisputed Wasteland Heavy Weight Champion like in FO2

I decided to stack around 50 mods together and ran FO3edit then FO3Masterupdate and when I went back to geck too try and work on my mod project it said it was an esm and most of the other esp's were also changed to esm. Is this suppossed to happen?

I wouldn't be interested in a dino mech but if you wanted to make some Battletech (A.K.A. Mechwarrior) Mechs I'd be happy to play it. In fact I would even put all my followersin teddy bear power armor and systematically murder every living thing in the waste. Oh yeah and not those punk ass MW DarkAge mechs but the real deal. OMG if you made the RoboTech Veritech mechs that could fly I would cream myself :)
