I have been playing Skyrim on my new Dell Inspiron 5577 (Intel i5, GTX 1050 with 4g of vram, 8g of ram) laptop attached to my monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I also use an Xbone controller when I play because I frankly prefer it. However, I've been freezing frequently and I've determined I only experience the hang whenever I am plugged into everything on my desk. If I play on just the laptop itself (still with my BT Xbone controller) I do not experience freezes. Sometime between 5 or 45 minutes of gameplay, my game will just hang, and I am forced to close out via task manager. Also, I know for a fact that just the monitor on its own can cause the crash. Could this have anything to do with the mods I am running? This only happens in Skyrim.
