    this is a serios problem

     

    how i solved:

    - I changed the 'ogg files to be played by windows media player

    - I applied the silent hill homecoming v10 fix patch that oddly enough I cannot find anywhere anymore...

    Perk Screen Freeze

    I did do a search of this and I saw answers for FOOK2 MOD but the thing is I dont have FOOK2 ANYMORE. I did use to have it but I removed the mod before I leveled up and when i finally did level up I couldn't get past the perk screen. I don't know if this still has to do with FOOK or not but I dont have the mod anymore. Do I need to reinstall it?

    Darn UI problem

    When I installed the Darn UI mod and went in game, the first problem i saw was that the fonts for the ammo count and CND was way to big so I decided to not use it (first question here is how do i fix this cuz i still want to use Darn UI). The 2nd problem which can relate to darn UI (Not sure) is that when i level up and choose a perk i want, it freezes my game when i press accept.

     

    Some help would be nice and thank you for you time.

    I decided to start Oblivion again hoping that nothing bad will happen to me when i start this time. I reinstalled Oblivion and tried some mods that i used before. I open the game and right after the Bes.. logo, the Oblivion first load happen and BANG. I crash/freeze. I decided to turn off all the mods and run it vanilla. Open the game and BANG freeze again. I just plain decided that I suck at fixing things and should ask the smarter people for help and here i am posting this. Thanks for your help ;3

    picklocking in "dungeons"

    Everytime I go into a "dungeon" (Ruins Forts..) and I see anything locked Hard and above, I'll try to picklock it but it'll glow purple and the lockpick screen won't show up and this started to happen when i installed OOO. So I'm just wondering if OOO is doing this and if it is how do I make OOO stop doing this.

    (Same goes for two hands, except its TwoHandIdle and the like)

    Thanks for the long reply, and I feel bad for saying this but it seems that if I move all the files from \My Games\Oblivion the game can start without any problems. But than would that mean I just lost all my save files?

    EDIT: Nvm it seems the problem was in the \My Games\Oblivion folder. I've fixed it and can now play Oblivion but none th eless I thank you deeply for your time and help. Im sure this will come in handy one day either for me again or someone else.

     

    EDIT2: *FIXED* But now another problem has come up =\ I must be unlucky. The NPCS don't talk. I'm using OBMM to launch the game and handle my mods. Any help?

     

    EDIT3: Nvm got it working somehow, don't know what I did tho =\. Thanks for you help dez.

    Oh well. Ya it did work vanilla before but ever since it started to crash it won't work with mods or "vanilla". Will uninstalling and reinsalling too much cause this issue, and yes I'm pretty sure i patched and it still patched.

    I don't have anything installed for Oblivion atm so its just the files they give you when you install (no patches no mods no OBSE no OBMM) and can you explain what vanilla means. Thanks for your help. One question well the *USER*/MyGames/Oblivion file affect the loading for the game?

    This is my 2nd day of not playing Oblivion and its killing me D=. I installed DR with OBSE .17 and the newest patch for both Oblivion and SI. On OBMM I did everything i was supposed to. I press launch my screen turns black and boom I go back to the desktop. I try opening with OBSE, same thing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same thing when I tried to open. Uninstall again and didnt put any mods on. Same thing upon startup. Plz if anyone can help me. HELP

    A while ago I was forced to format my hard drive. So I lost all of my wonderful oblivion mods. Most of them I have managed to download again. However one I did not manage to find is this one:
