LMFAO I just laughed out loud. This is amazing. No but still, I was just thinking about it. An argonian dragonborn? It's like having a iranian president in America. ( no racism, I'm muslim myself ). I mean sure they couldnt force you to be a nord, but it's still a fact I think. Dragonborn should be a nord. And not a blue argonian :D
-
I just seem to be lost.. so you can become a orc and argonian but how the hell are they supposed to be dragonborns? I mean a dragonborn should be a nord right? So how come an orc or argonian still can be a dragonborn..?

NO SERIOUSLY, I cant believe nobody said this. But perhaps its just me that plays the game a little crazy. I like to wander around the world and if I see a "guard" or any other NPC I dislike outside of a city I murder him. Because I'm an a**hole and I want the loot. But then when you come back to a city they are like YEAH WE KNOW YOU DID IT. What the hell, how do you know? -_- OR if you try to kill someone in his or her house, the guard magically knows it comes to you like HEY WHO ARE YOU KILLING?! Same thing goes for on the street, if I murder someone from behind with one blow and he didn't have the time to scream and nobody saw it ( I mean when its night ), I shouldn't be accused of the murder. Especially when I leave the place directly. That is the most gay thing of that game ever. And there were some mods that supposed to fix it, none of those EVER worked for me.

Yeah I just searched on the net, since I'm not supposed to post anything I wont. But I can confirm that it's been cracked and people with 360 are already playing it right now -___________- And we have to wait for the PC version, geez..... But how the HELL did this happen, seriously? It's still 8 days, I just cant believe it..

Dude forget about the proxy, what I'm saying is the following. Check this out, I found this post on the internet. ------- "It seems Pete Hines posted another tweet indicating the game will unlock at 12:01am in each individual time zone. http://twitter.com/#!/DCDeacon/statu…10428202360832 I have never heard of Steam doing something like that with dozens of different unlock times, so it seems more likely that it will turn out to be 12:01am EST. This was precisely the time that RAGE unlocked (12:01am EST / 9:01pm PST for US/Canada). However, I suppose it is also possible Bethesda made some sort of unprecedented special arrangement with Valve to have the Skyrim unlock at 12:01am in every individual time zone, as indicated in the subsequent tweet above." ------- Now back to what I want to do, it's the following: 1. Change the download server to Japan and 2. Change region to Japan. its really not that hard. ( Check out the attached picture ) if needed I can even change the timezone on my Windows platform. This will cause steam to think that I live in japan, which will ultimatly lead to a six hours difference. Normally I'd be able to play it on 00:00 thursday November 10th but with this event I'll probably shift it back to 18:00 thursday 10th November so ( 6 o clock in the evening ). -Yes a 6 hours difference does matter.
-
Yes but you can change that in the options of Steam, and its easy to change the timezone to Japan on your computer if thats what you're coming at.
-
So I've read that steam will unlock Skyrim on 00:00 for each individual time zone. Which means if I go options in steam and set my timezone to Japan it means the game will unlock 6 hours earlier, RIGHT? Which means I will be able to play it on Thursday November 10th on 06:00 o clock in the evening!?!!?!?! ( if preloaded ) RIGHT!??!?

Lol I'm not happy, doesnt really matter if its ripped or not. Just saw the resemblance and wanted to share it :].

1. It wasn't a good movie, anyone serious about folklore wouldn't even use the DVD as a coaster. 2. It WAS NOT about dragons, it featured a single dragon who was spawned in the last 20minutes after Beowulf got down and dirty with Grendel's mother, the offspring of this formed a creature who could TRANSFORM into a dragon. 3. Treasure? Wut!? He rips out the 'Dragon's' heart from it's throat. C'mon I hated the movie and I can still remember what happened. Skyrim's artistic direction flows closely alongside that of the Norse/Viking/Olde English theme, so yes the music and style of buildings is going to be alike, the themes of that age are massively popular, they celebrate a time of brutal combat and superstition - something Skyrim is delivering in bucket loads. I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread was the connection between the two medias was obvious, however I can 100% guarantee Beth aren't copying Beowulf if that's what you're getting at. I'll depart from this convo now as I'm not sure this back and forth is beneficial. HF GL Excuse me, is your name google? I dont think so right, so stop acting like you know everything. Back to the thread, I was just saying that Bethesda might be inspired by Beowulf. Actually I'm pretty sure they DID get inspired. That explains the resemblance and I agree to what Hejpadig is saying. Both are in the same era. That was what I was getting to, Bethesda got inspired by Beowulf. Although some people state the movie is bad, remember those are justs opinions ofcourse. I thought Beowulf was a very nice movie.

I have a freaking countdown timer on my DESKTOP. Everytime my PC starts the Skyrim Theme automatically starts playing. Thats how f***ing hyped I am.
-
I dont know about a poem, all I know it was quite a good movie and it WAS about dragons. Because the treasure in the movie ought to be from the dragons throat or something like that. But back to the main subject, there is quite a resemblance right? I mean even the music sounds alike..
-
Hey guys, I was actually really unaware of the resemblance of the two titles Beowulf and Skyrim. Beowulf is a movie about a king who fights a dragon in the end of the movie. But the awkward similarity between the two titles have actually quite blown me away. Check out a clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Exk2F4CjMic&feature=related Even the OST of Beowulf is SO similiar to Skryim, check it out: What do you think?

The Thread of Computers (aka will my computer run Skyrim)
Diso replied to Zeazer's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Since your system is like x2 the recommended, I don't see your concern mister. I know but, I meant can I play on the highest settings. Ofcourse it'll deal with the "high" settings and I'd have a good time playing. But what about the highest? I read somewhere that the highest settings are quite heavy. And when I was playing Crysis 2 with the HD graphics pack and DX11 update it wasnt REALLY fluent, although I have quite the package. Thats my concern. -
