So many of the items in the game seem to be Larian's original creations. I'm finding the game incredibly lacking in terms of items actually published by Wizards of the Coast tabletop D&D books. I'd love to see eventual mods add more of the actual vanilla RAW (rules as written) 5e items.

When I use a stoneflesh tome, what i learn is the oakflesh spell. Normally this wouldn't bother me, as my spells get stronger through leveling with Mighty Magick, but I have alternate textures for mage armor spells. Now that I'm higher level I'd like to be able to have rock skin instead of wooden skin. I saw an npc use a spell to get jet black skin, which i can only guess was ebonyflesh. My alteration is level 50 or 60, so I'm not quite sure what the issue is. Any ideas? Perhaps these two mods are just not very compatible?

Frame rate problems since getting Dawnguard
ImNotCrazy44 replied to ImNotCrazy44's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The lag was too much, so I tried making a new file, and had no problems for a while...now I'm about level 30, and noticing the issue has been creeping back up for a few days. Could it have anything to do with saving frequently possibly? I know with some games, there are ways to set a minimum frame rate...can this be done in skyrim? Perhaps in the .ini file? -
My gpu is an AMD 6950, and I'm running windows 7 64-bit. I have the steam version of both Skyrim and Dawnguard, and where as my computer automatically sets my game settings to ultra, I am having issues. Everything ran fine both with and without mods before getting the expansion. Since installing it though, my frame rate drops to about 11-18 while in first person mode. If I change to 3rd person, the frame rate goes back to 60, stays there and all lag stops. Since this problems started happening, I've uninstalled and deleted all mods, reinstalled and tried playing with no mods at all. The problem does not go away. Anyone know of a solution or have similar problems?

Thank! :D Am I supposed to download .BSA viewer/extractor with nexus mod manager or manually? I downloaded and activated it with mod manager...but I don't quite understand how to use it to view or extract things after that... EDIT: Seems I was supposed to download it manually, as now I can open the program. If you happen to know off hand of one of these tutorials that deals with 3DSmax or z-brush, I'd love a link.

I'm looking to edit the way some armor looks while its being worn. How can I extract the model of the worn armor to use in something like 3DSmax? (I'm trying to alter a suit of armor and eventually import it to pepekura designer to make a physical replica lol...I'm not good enough at 3D modeling to make anything usable in game yet haha.) Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

If you put on the shrouded cowl, and have a beard (even if its just the 5 o'clock shadow) it takes away the mouth/nose covering. Is there a mod that fixes this? I like the way the cowl looks with the face piece, but hate the way it looks without it.

I'm using the steam version of dragon age ultimate edition and need to lower my approval value with Leliana so I can unlock her quest. I set the value in the .ini file to "Keyboard::Button_Tilde" and changed the launch options in steam to "-enabledeveloperconsole" but the console still wont work. I also have the mod that makes it legit appear. I've tried tying " ` " instead of "Tilde" and I've also tried mapping the command to the Z key...is there some simple thing I'm missing here?

Do I need to worry about it if I'm not making mods? I dont know how to make them, just how to use them lol. Oh, also, I've been hearing about something called bash patch. I dont know what that is either.
-
Ok, so I'm going to start using wrye bash, and have seen mention of something called wrye python. What exactly is it, and do I need it? http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368 It says there that the installer gives you both bash and python...I wont need any other download correct?

NPC bodies? & installation order vs load order?

Ok good to know. I'll switch asap! Is wyre bash compatible with OMOD's? I ask because I have some mods downloaded in OMOD form and am hoping i wont have to redownload them lol.
-
Can any and all mods be turned into OMODs? What about ones that are just textures/meshes with out a .esp? How about plug-ins for OBSE? I recently realized how to make OMODs and see how simple it is, but want to be sure of what I can and can't convert. As for wyre bash, I've never used it and see that some mods say they require it. I had thought it was basically just an alternative to OBMM except it could install zipped files instead of using OMODs. Is there any reason to use both at once or would it be wise to switch to using wyre bash instead?

NPC bodies? & installation order vs load order?
ImNotCrazy44 replied to ImNotCrazy44's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
Thank you kindly :D Edit: I was just thinking...how do I know what order to install my mods in? I can't check with BOSS because they need to be installed for that, correct? -
NPC bodies? & installation order vs load order?
ImNotCrazy44 posted a topic in Oblivion's Discussion
Ok, I just have two quick questions. Do body mods like eyecandy and roberts mod only the player character, or do they mod everyone in the world? Does it matter what order I install mods in? I use all OMOD's. I want to make sure that installation order does not matter and only load order does. Thanks in advance! :D -
Awesome! Thanks guys, this was amazingly helpful ;D

I recently installed Bananasplit Better Cities. I made OMODs out of 3 required archives and they're all activated in OBMM and it says there is no compatability issue. When I start Oblivion, I still have the vanilla cities...there has got to be something obvious I'm missing... Oh, and when I hit "yes" when prompted to the opened better cities plug-in, I get a message saying "install the better cities resource pack (perminant and current) if you want better cities to display properl." The only problem with that is that those are 2 of the 3 OMODs I installed. Edit: Ok, so after trying random things to try and fix this, I found that if I boot up oblivion the normal way, and look at "data files." A lot of things were unchecked even though they didnt even exist in OBMM...I guess this topic can be deleted then.

I haven't played Oblivion in a long time, and just got a new desktop,so I should be able to run the best graphic enhancing mods. Is there an up to date list of them out there? Aside from scenery and all that, I'm also looking to improve the faces and also for a realistic body mod (preferably one with an underware version lol). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I have Alistair marry Anora, does he leave the party? I wanted to make him king but hoped he wouldn't actually take up duty as kinda till after i play through and finish Awakening.

My rogue is using a long sword enchanted with a flame rune and a dagger enchanted with a lightning rune...when he goes into stealth mode and then exits, the graphic elemental effects aren't shown unless I re-equip the weapons. Any idea what's going on here?

performance tweaks?
ImNotCrazy44 replied to ImNotCrazy44's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
Ah, thank you kindly :) I used those both of those and have significantly less trouble while using much better settings than I thought I'd be able to use. -
performance tweaks?
ImNotCrazy44 replied to ImNotCrazy44's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
intel core 2 duo (p7450) at 2.13 GHz windows 7 32 bit nvidia geforce 9600 graphics card I've tried running the game on just about every possible resolution setting, all the graphics/texture setting...and none seem to make a HUGE impact whether for better or worse...even on the lowest setting for everything i still end up with a bit of lag every couple min. -
Are there any tweaks/mods that make the game perform better like there are for Oblivion? It seems that no matter what settings I use, I still have the same frame rate issue that are evident and them subside back and forth...I would have thought they would dramatically get worse with slightly higher settings, but apparently not.

importing and attributes
ImNotCrazy44 replied to ImNotCrazy44's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
So even in awakening is there a point to raising str over 20? I was strongly considering the Legionnaire Scout as my 3rd specialization (along with assassin and shadow). I'd take duelist but I figured I'd have a pretty high crit chance so it wouldn't give me much advantage. i figured my character would focus mostly on backstabs and crits.
