Yeah lol. But It is sort of a pain to delete all of those save files if You die.

Adding Forges to Weapon and Armor Shops?
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion

Removing "You are here" map arrow
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
HOLY s#*! IT WORKS! Thank You so much WandeRA! ^_^ But why does It work like that when that directory/file never existed in the first place? :\ Bah whatever. Thanks again! ^^ -
Well, now after playing Oblivion for a bit, I find It silly that You are able to fully repair Your equipment with just a hammer. No fire or anvil required. After realizing this, I can only go to places and armorers that have a forge, or It just fells dumb. How else would I be able to adequately repair My things? Magic? But there is no repair Item spell in the game (I don't think) but that's not the point. So I can only go to certain places in the game that have a forge to repair My items. Everyone else I just treat like a merchant and pretend they don't offer repair services or training. Only if They have a forge! And If I go to a forge to repair I can either manually tip Them to use the forge (Use My repair hammers on items) or pay Them to repair My things. Whatever I want. *Shrugs* Is there any sort of mod that would put forges in more weapon and armor shops? Perhaps not all of them, but It would definitely be an improvement.

Okay, as You can see by My picture; I have no such directory (Data>Textures>menus80>map>[world_map_arrow_icon.dds]). However I will install whatever WandeRA has uploaded to see if It works. -

Non-Aggressive Creature Mod
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
Alright, I deleted and re-installed the Hunter Mod without touching It in the Construction Set and It just doesn't work at all no yield of meat from wolves... -_-?? Well, I remember using a different mod for creatures to yield Their meat a long time ago but I'm not sure what It was. Almost certain it was Better Creatures which has spawns of giant mudcrabs etc. So I just searched for "Oblivion wolf meat" in DuckDuck and I found another "hunting mod" called Axebanes Hunters Mod 2.0. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/1889?tab=description I installed that, It wasn't recognized by BOSS but right as I load My game the dead wolf at My feet has wolf meat x2. So It works! But now the gems and ore I find are getting shitty prices. Looks like the Hunter mod was the mod giving them more realistic prices as well as creature pelts... So I just re-installed the Hunters Mod a long with Axebanes Hunters Mod 2.0 and that seemed to fix the prices to what I'm accustomed to. From what I can see so far, They both work perfectly in unison. But now the creatures attack (but run away when They're about to die) so now I just simply open up Axebanes Hunters Mod 2.0 in the Construction Set and set each creatures aggression to 4. I save the changes, run Oblivion and now the creatures mind Their own business like They're supposed to. I'm still holding My breath though. I don't know why some mods just want to f*#@ off and not work for some reason... But for now It works! :D -
Non-Aggressive Creature Mod
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
No... what is this wall of text? What are You doing? :/ Did I mention I tried using a non-aggression mod with the hunter mod but They clashed? So I just went into the Construction Set and compared the AI values in the non-aggression mod and put those values into the hunter mod. That worked just perfectly, I could go adventuring without wild animals going suicidal on Me, AND hunt Them for Their meat and resources if I chose to, but I had to re-install Oblivion (glitches, bs) and after a couple of re-installs, for some reason the edited hunter mod that I had so much success with just doesn't work anymore. Even stranger; on a past install I edited each aggression factor for every animal. Mudcrabs just minded Their own business, which suggests that the game is indeed reading the edits in the hunter mod, but then wolves still attack Me from 50 feet away and They don't even yield wolf meat. Please help! -
Disabling combat music?
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
I've been listening to stuff like classical music with Oblivions music disabled. But Oblivion has pretty good music. Also I don't just want to listen to a playlist of non-combat music in foobar, but rather have the outdoor, city, and underground musics play respectively without the combat music ever playing. -
Non-Aggressive Creature Mod
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
Something really weird is happening. I installed the Better Hunting Mod and edited the aggression values so that creatures wouldn't just attack You. That worked but then I had to re-install Oblivion because of glitches etc. Well I did just that, installed Better Hunting, edited the aggression factors. Now everything minds (Mud crabs, Rats. I'm low level) Their own business except wolves and They don't even yield wolf meat like Their supposed to when You kill them. What the Hell is going on? This time I went into the Construction Set and deleted the "Vampire Faction" from the Wolves and Timber Wolves by editing the "Hunter Mod" to see if that helps. I'm really puzzled by this. I haven't even installed any new mods from the last time when the "Hunter Mod" and editing of aggression factors worked. ^Here's the AI window for the Timber Wolf.^ ^For some reason the Wolf and Timber wolf was part of the Vampire Faction. Where I circled in red is where the faction used to be.^ https://imgur.com/kMX8QhS ^As You can see, the wolf meat is part of the Wolves inventory. Really don't know what's going on.^ I hope that deleting the Vampire Faction from the wolves is what fixes My problem... oh and here's My list of mods: https://imgur.com/39hQVZE https://imgur.com/fBOvHON -
Please. How do I do this? I don't like the change in music when an enemy is engaging Me because It spoils the fun.

Removing "You are here" map arrow
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
I don't know what do to. I can't seem to find the directory to the arrows to make them blank. Is the DarN folder the right one? I'm not sure It is. Someone posted a directory to where the arrow would be but It's nowhere to be found in menus80 (Or whatever directory They posted). The map marker mod is pretty glitchy... -

Removing "You are here" map arrow
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
No. I tried using paint and that didn't work. My next step was to download GIMP and use that. I found two golden arrows that look like the map markers but They are in My Data>Textures>Menus>Darn and They are .dds files. EDIT: I'm just going to use Paint.net. -
Pitch-black dungeons and caves please. How?
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
Okay. I did this in the construction set and the caves are still like They were in vanilla... I went: >World >Cells >Lighting >Changed all the values to 0 ... So You're saying I have to edit every single underground area of the game? Is there a way I can do all of them? -
Removing "You are here" map arrow
GHETTOHOOPSTAR replied to GHETTOHOOPSTAR's topic in Oblivion's Classic Discussion
I was inclined to make an empty .dds file as opposed to install the mods, but I don't have the exact directory path as someone else mentioned. Although I found two .dds files that looked exactly like arrows on a map. Didn't make them empty though. -
