@Ncudnik - how many games do you have inside of Vortex, and how many mods per game ? I can see you hitting the limits, but I'm not sure if it's correct or not based on the requests sent.

Thank you for the detailed bug report - we'll take a look at this from our end and see if we can find anything strange going on.

I'm not really sure what to suggest here as those files will be coming from the same place, so should all be the same speed. When you say there is a problem, what is the difference in speeds between the files ?

@Maharg67, I've just had to ban another IP in use by your account. You or your brother really need to get in contact with one of our community managers via discord or support ticket. Some activity from your location is sending thousands of requests to the forum repeatedly. This last happened exactly a week ago, so if you've set something automated on your end that tries to do something like backup your thread then you need to look at that because it's not working correctly - if you haven't and you've got no idea what might be going on then the only way we're going to solve this is if you can get in contact with us so we can debug it with you.

@axonis - we had a sitewide problem yesterday at the time you posted this that resulted in all infrastructure being restated - this would have likely caused this problem briefly. @MarkusTay / @ThelebKaarna - Are you able to provide us any more information on this please. 1) How did you download these mods ? (Vortex/Site) 2) Were these new downloads, or updates to previous downloads ? 3) Where are you trying to endorse these mods ? 4) Are the mods showing up in your download history ( https://www.nexusmods.com/users/myaccount?tab=download+history ) ?

In response to post #67632606. #67634316, #67634966, #67636786, #67637301, #67650701, #67671731 are all replies on the same post. The limits we've put in place are our first 'best guess' at what is reasonable. If we find that legitimate users are having problems then we are fully on board with changing the limits.

Thanks for reporting this, I have found a small problem that seems to have causing this. I have nuked our cache for now, so you guys should be recognised as premium for Vortex downloads as of now, and I'll be fixing the underlying bug as soon as possible so this doesn't happen in the future.

Hi Kaltern, You're downloading from the amsterdam server as it's your closest. I just tried and I got 50MB/sec from that server ( 0.5Gbit/sec ). Can you try these and see if any of them are better for you? http://paris.nexus-cdn.com/100M http://prague.nexus-cdn.com/100M http://amsterdam.nexus-cdn.com/100M You're getting 50% packet loss from your pings which is bad - can you check to see if you get this from all of our servers, and try some other stuff too like bbc.co.uk - this will see if it's a potentially a problem your end.

I've checked the firewall on this node and there are no blocks there. Are you able to load http://speedtest.nexus-cdn.com/ ?

Hi DonQuixoteIII, We do geographic load balancing, so you should be going to your closest server. The connections shouldn't be dropped, none of the CDN nodes have had any problems recently and I've seen no other reports for dropped connections. Can you do/provide any more debugging on this from your end ?

We're currently working on the documentation, making sure we have a good test suite and finalising all features for the 1.0 API release. We also need to work on dishing out API keys for things that aren't Vortex, so there is still a bit of work to do.

Can you please provide us with at least 1 mod that you have downloaded that is missing in your download history ?

When you say 'not great' what kind of speeds are you getting ? As a normal user ( or maybe a non-ad blocking user ) you'll be getting either 1000kb/sec or 2000kb/sec maximum over all files download at the same time. If you want to test what speed you could get with no speed restrictions then you can type the IP address you're getting into your browser and there should be some large files you can download that have no restrictions... e.g. http://185.246.211.119/1G

I have just found a problem with the Paris CDN node that I have fixed and so downloads form there should be back to good speeds again. If you're still getting poor speeds then please let me know your physical location and also what ip address you get when you ping `files.nexus-cdn.com`
