  1. So is this RP still going? Cause it's probably the most interesting one out there, and it being new and all really makes it easier to settle in. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes :)
  2. I am dust. Luno stretches his arms before the rising sun over Esparta's river, slicing the decaying urban jungle in two. I am the essence of Esparta, dancing in your rays, and with the morning I reach out to you, my wandering soul...my sunlight. With no notice he falls. Splashing into the rushing warm river under the bridge, suddenly at a nirvanic ease when it catches him in it's current. My only true love is your warmth. He saw something fall from the clouds last night. It's all to knowable. His soul never lies. It's all I feel. The river take Luno to where he must go - he trusts the wild daughter of the sun like no other.
  3. -------Announcement here, but take a read first if you want. Warning: May not make sense------- "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-" He screamed, falling as if for eons down the chasm he was thrown. "-OOOOOOO!" He still screamed, wondering how in the name of the Omniverse he could be so stupid as to - SPLAT Oh dear. *Four Minutes Earlier...* "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Oh right, this was a pretty deep hole. *Fourteen Minutes Earlier* The SwiftCar zoomed over the Red Row Desert, rocky outcroppings abounding, formations unlike anything an earthbound humanoid could ever dream about, some reaching for miles into the sky. Pretty tripping, really. "So who's this freak anyway?" "Subject 14755, we just call him Sourpuss" "Sourpuss??" "Yeah. It's been so long that even he thinks that's his real name." "Cheese and Crackers, what have they done to him?!" "Only the most f***ed up things, hombre" The Swift parks outside what looks like an abandoned car dealership, hunks of rust laying eternally by the side...alongside a single newfangled FlightTruck. Out of the swift step Heckle and Spyder, two low-ranking scumbuckets working for the Drainer Mob. "Alright Spyder, get that s*** out of the truck." Heckle keeps a firm glare on the building's glass doors, covered in red dust and scratches. "So who's our lucky customer?! Come out and see the merch, f***wad!" A massive creak rings out, spooking Heckle out as the doors come open, dust spewing down. "You're a little late yourself, goon." Says a small but sinister voice from the shadows. Heckle puts up a false bravado - he ain't letting some nobody scare a Drainer, hells no! But his mood changes as a pair of muscular androids with a taste for fine suits step out. These are the Gentledroids, techno-bodyguards for the highest paying customer. From the shadows behind them steps a meagre looking man with a pointy moustache. "Now where's my purchase?" "I...I didn't mean any offence mister Green, I...I..." Heckle darts his attention around to the car "Yo Spyder, what's takin' ya??" "You had no idea it was me did you? My brother really doesn't pick em well? Typical, since he was a d***head." "Was...?" "C'mon Sourpuss, up we get!" Spyder pulls Sourpuss out, high-tech shackles tight around his wrists and a low-tech sack over his face. Heckle smirks, turning his attention to Mr Green...who's eyes widen with suspiscion and maybe a little fear too - "Wh...why is he shackled?" Green starts to gets nervous, motioning to the Gentledroid on his left. Spyder can't help but chuckle - "So he doesn't try anything funny, stupid!" Poor Spyder never met Mr Green before, still laughing at the small man as he brings Sourpuss before him. Heckle desperately motions a 'cut it the f*** out!' gesture. Yes, the drainer mob aren't the brightest bulbs in the omniverse now, aren't they? "You fools have no idea what he's capable of." Sourpuss chuckles underneath the sack. "No Mr Green, they don't" The shackles drop. With a clang. In a flash, the gentledroids open fire - their micro-bolts passing through Sourpuss like jello...literally, like jello. Sourpuss flicks both arms like they're floppy noodles, knocking out Heckle and Spyder at the same time. Round after round pounds into his strange flesh. Mr Green can't help but fall on his ass in fear. "Stupid machines! Stop with the f***ing bolts, they do nothing!" And sure enough, they follow their masters command, standing idly before Sourpuss. "Oh for f*#@s sake..." Sourpuss rips off the tattered remains of his sack-mask. He grins madly at Mr Green. "Maybe these droids need a defrag." "N-no you-" Green has a sudden flash of an idea. "Melee combat! Tear him to bits!" The gentledroids lunge for Sourpuss, one grabbing and ripping the humanoid's arm off with a clean strike - and sure enough, it's like dough. The other gentledroid pounds away at Sourpuss's gut and face, leaving fresh imprints all over. "Really Mr Green...really?" The torn arm starts convulsing in the first Gentledroid's arm. Before it can react, the arm breaks down into a sludgey-gel-like form and throws itself at the droid, covering it in pinky gunk. The droid falls back, flailing as it's crushed by the pressure. "LOW POWER" whirs the other droid, tired out from beating Sourpuss into a near-pulp. Mr Green jitters, edging ever so cautiously up to the pile of goop. The lower half of Sourpuss still mostly intact. "Alright, just need to get out of here before that slimeball...hehe...reforms!" Green doesn't notice the severed arm creeping for him from behind. A near concious Heckle does, pulling out his pistol and firing repeatedly at the arm - It lunges for Green just as he turns around, with a clenched fist it punches him right out. "RESERVE MODE" the drained droid quickly sparks back to life, turning its focus to the arm - it quickly stomps on it, turning it to a puddle once again. "TARGET WEAKNESS - Excessive force shocks form. Containment, high heat or freezing necessary." A little tube pops out on the droid's arm. "Switching to nitro-thrower..." "Nope!" says a voice behind the droid. Green can't help but be bewildered and outright freaked out at the...naked mini-Sourpuss standing behind the droid. "All you robos need is a right kick in the stabiliser!" Yelps mini-sourpuss as he jumps on the droid's back. It starts spraying liquid nitrogen everywhere - covering Heckle and freezing him solid. "Feisty little mech aren't ya?" Mini-Sourpuss starts beating on the mechs head, over and over - "Good job lil guy, now rip out that nitro-gun!" The real sourpuss has barely put himself back together, at this point just an eye and a mouth in the pink gunky puddle. Mini-sourpuss heeds his order, grabbing the droid's arm, and pushing some of itself into liquid form inside the arm. Getting a good grip, it rips the nitrogun right out the socket, throwing it to the side. But the Gentledroid's not entirely stupid. It grabs Mini Sourpuss by the soft neck and throws him right into the puddle! Big mistake. "No! Dammit! You stupid machine, STOP!" And of course the Gentledroid stops moving, looking on blankly as Mr Green facepalms. The mini-Sourpuss can't help but laugh like mad as it revels in the gunk of itself, letting it all attach to his skin and quickly absorb him, taking the form of a regular sized sourpuss in a matter of seconds. Still Naked, though. "Alright you bolt-fastener, time to put you in your -" "Xan!" That innocent feminine voice stops him in his tracks. Sourpuss slowly turns his attention back to the old dealership. A woman stands in the doorway, backed by another four Gentledroids. "We just wanted you back home, Xan..." Sourpuss is speechless. No one's called him that in a long time. No one alive, anyway... "And then you went too far..." "What the hell are you doing here?" He storms up to her, even as a gentledroid cocks its gun and fires through him. It doesn't kill him, but it sure as hell hurts. That tends to happen when someone blasts a big hole in you... Sourpuss blacks out. That wasn't a normal round... Vala...what the f*** are you doing here Thoughts rush through him. Memories return - of the days when he had a name. Happiness, fields of blue grass stretching across lands like seas, Vala...and then the ships, the Cyber-wizards and the golems and the tanks and the bloodshed. And then the experiments. The torture. The repeated showings of Who's the Boss?. Good god, that was horrible. Now you're just a name on my list... His eyes open. Holy f***, I'm falling. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" SPLAT
  4. This thread's either not gonna take off or die after four posts anyway (and that's a generous estimate). But hey, you might like it! Rules 1. Don't be a dick 2. Seriously, don't be a dick 3. Have fun! Character profiles in a nutshell (what type of nut is up to you) Name: The character's name Sex: This is optional really. Maybe you're genderqueer, androgynous, trans, or physically asexual. I'm cool with it all really. Special Abilities: Are you really good at juggling? Or can you throw fireballs or eat metal? Or can you twitch your ears? Skills: Other stuff you're good at, but on a smaller level. Ironing jeans, rigging bombs, rock-paper scissors, you name it. Clothes: Naked maybe? Full Power Armour? Spandex? Lycra? Whatever you want, as long as it's not god armour or something silly like that. Vehicle of Choice: Sports Car, biplane, dinghy, tricycle, travel-power, intergalactic star cruiser?? Whatever works for your character and isn't some sort of Godmobile. Bio: Goes here. Give us a compelling story of your character. Or a poem? Whatever's passable! The Plot (?) One day a dude named Jeb decided to enter politics. So he did. But now he's kinda a dick. You see, Jeb Jabbaburger is now the Grand Boss Daddy of the Solar System, and he will stop at nothing until the omniverse is his to command. It's up to a team of unlikely heroes to stop the new Grand Boss Daddy of the Solar System, or to help him realise his dream of multi-versal control. Woah wait, what the f*** is this RP really all about???? I dunno, we're just making this s*** up as we go along. See that plot summary up there? Totally off the top of my head. Crazy right? S..so what am I supposed to do? Just go wild! That's the thrill of it! As long as you're not some sort of god-tier OP megademon, it's all good. And treat your fellow players with respect. The aim here is FUN. Writing Style? Is this like your last (failed) RP with the overly complicated script thing? Writing style is whatever the hell you're comfortable with. Screenplay, limerick, novel or haiku, as long as it's fun to read it's A-Okay! Setting The setting is totally malleable, we can have Jetbikes and magic wands and transforming mecha toilets all in the same post. The reason is that since this takes place in the Omniverse - ANYTHING GOES. Some universes have a radically different set of physical laws, some have a form of magic, and others still are bland and mundane, or filled with all sorts of horrors. I'll start with my character, and everyone can follow suit and ask questions and stuff! Wheeee! Name: Sourpuss Machio Sex: Dude Special Abilities: Can breakdown any part of himself into goop, including his whole body, reform and sometimes even multiply into smaller versions of himself, at the cost of winding up naked. Also he can cook up a killer bowl of chicken soup. Skills: Hand-to-hand combat, using his gooey powers in combat to mix things up a little. He also has a fondness for chilli, and thus, even the hottest chili sauce does not faze him! Clothes: Unless he's broken himself down or split up, he usually wears a torn up white shirt, bulky cargo pants and a shoulder belt containing a hunting knife, wet wipes and a portable TV in case he's bored. Vehicle of Choice: He uses his gooey powers to turn his bare feet into slime, helping him glide across any surface at amazing speed. Bio: Sourpuss was just a regular boy living in a boring ass world until the Grand Boss Daddy of the Solar System invaded his universe. Taken away and experimented on with a mixture of potions, science and forced reruns of Who's the Boss?, Sourpuss developed the power to break down into goop. Escpaing through the urinal, Sourpuss has devoted his life to stopping the evil Jeb Jabbaburger, wandering the omniverse looking for a movement strong enough to take down the Grand Boss Daddy, and stick his swollen hubris right up his ass. What are you waiting for? Get cracking on some magic!
  5. But that dog is just so LOVABLE! Plus that look 'suits' a certain Dog's...personality...encountered near Falkreath. How about a mod with multiple breeds of dogs all around Skyrim, given to the relevant owners. Tough mercs and war vets get tougher dogs, farmers get sheep dogs, Nobles get show dogs with healthier, non-mangy fur etc. A few pups too. German Shepards, Rotties, Border Collies, Malamutes & Huskies (would fit the setting even more, coming in wild 'friendly' varieties), and even Chihuahuas for some fun! Give the latter some skeever animations since they're roughly the same size.
  6. A village in the ruins eh? Plenty of scaffolding peices and tents to use, along with stalls and the like. Yeah, I'm visualising how I might go about with that right now. Great idea guys, I can't beleive I didn't think of that!
  7. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/485209-better-cities/ Here ya go. We're working on expanding the cities, and so far two of us have taken projects under our wings that we hope to merge when complete. It's ten pages long, so if you want to skip to the actual planning and such I suggest skipping the first couple of pages. We're starting to put up pictures of what we've got. Enjoy!
  8. Pictures! Remember these are wip and subject to change. http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/1104/warrensexpwip1.png The (unfinished) layout so far. Original warrens are to the top, untouched. That section will be considered the 'northern blocks' by the locals. The warrens will go deep underneath markarth, so the plan is to add higher levels, the highest of which will see the player entering the warrens to the sight of a disheveled community of miners, servants, refugees, 'merchants', the mentally handicapped and the homeless. Lots of transitions between caverns and ruins made to look as organic as possible. A mob lord tied to Malacath will reside here, taking advantage of the poor by offering 'protection' from both the forsworn and guards for a price. With the cities efforts on the Forsworn and the Civil war, he/she's free to run a skooma trade, but faces competition from a few small time dealers. The mob boss also restricts the flow of cure potions and medical supplies to those afflicted with Ataxia and other diseases. http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/6901/warrensexpwip2.png I'm planning on changing this part in due time. The doorway to the left takes us to the vanilla section, and perhaps some more expansion when the time comes, while the right structure is part of the new warrens. I'm hoping to replace the ramp with stairways and flesh out everything underneath the structures - some makeshift tents and such. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/7644/warrensexpwip3.png Inside that structure you'll find the first new room - this will house a merchant (in the aclove) and some of the mob lord's muscle, ordered to check on every person entering the Northern blocks. They'll be stupid brutes who you can easily persuade, but if you kill them then it opens up a can of worms. http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/1083/warrensexpwip4.png Here's a wall that turned out great by complete accident. The doorway here takes you to an area which I haven't quite decided a use for. http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/3053/warrensexpwip5.png Here's the room from that side after going through the doorway. In taking the screen shot I accidetnally cut off a hole in the wall, where a crazy guy will be trying to dig his way to the Cidhna mines as part of a revenge plot against Malacath. Unfortunatley he'll sooner wind up getting crushed in a cave in that having his sweet revenge against the king in rags. it's your choice whether you want to save him from his doomed attempt or let him die in vain. Once I've completed that makeshift tunnen I'll post it up. http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/3153/warrensexpwip6.png Same room from the other side. http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/8681/warrensexpwip7.png A nice view of the 'supports' made from upside down dwemer archways. These help me break up the caves and dwemer ruins while also transitioning between points where the ceilings won't line up. http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/4639/warrensexpwip8.png My first major snag that I only noticed just now. Pictured are two NPC's I've created for scaling purposes that'll work into the new warrens later. The rooms are quite large compared to these NPCs...I have to shrink the rooms to 75% of their original size, which is what the vanilla warrens did, If I want to start making things look cramped Mind you, there's still a lot of stuff I want to fit in that might just make the place seem smaller anyway. So that's where I'm at. I like taking time to iron out details and get rid of visual bugs, otherwise it'd be a disaster trying to reorganise things later. Unfortunatley I may just have another one on my hands with the size issue. GULP!
  9. I've gotten back into the modding mood too, been a long time since I used the geck. I've also gotten back into the habit of obsessing over details and trying to remove every little bit of spiderwebbing and clipping that I see. But in the end I think it pays off. Can't wait to see what you've done with Ivarstead! So far my idea is to relocate the entrance to the warrens (too much trouble to just tear the original room apart). Going through the door to the warrens would take you to the new areas right away, with the original warrens section being relocated to the northern most point, untouched. So far I'm working on mingling caverns and dwemer ruins, though I think it's a shame they didn't have any 'wrecked' interior kits, such as holes in the ceilings and smashed walls etc. or a greater variety of 'exterior' peices. Instead I'm improvising where possible. Using upside down arches has provided me with a 'support structure' that would hold the dirt and rock above the warrens, while also helping to transition between certain peices with ease. I'll post some images tommorow so you folks can see where I'm at.
  10. So who's been scanning through the creation kit? I've got all sorts of ideas running through my head for how we can start putting things together in a dynamic fashion. Unfortunatley I've gotten myself into Star trek online, but I'll try make an expanded Warrens in my spare time, utilising a mixture of dwemer dungeon and Markarth peices to create something unique. Expansive caves, rickety bridges, and smelly homeless people.
  11. If it worked in new vegas, it should work here. Race of course should also play into it.
  12. Riften has a second Inn that isn't open to the player because the owner's a...free spirit, though a certain quest (or the player's charms, wink wink) could get them a cheap/free room per night. Whiterun could have a second 'inn' located in the outer section, perhaps a bed in the barn offered to any willing farmhands (Work = Bed) or, in a commons house with others working to earn their keep. Twas I who suggested the warrens expansion. I was looking forward to finding a slum underneath Markarth and all I got was two homeless people and eight boring rooms. Makes the whole 'Blood and Silver' thing lose its weight. I like vaknathi's idea of a seedy drinking house in the warrens. Let's say the silver blood inn makes you pay 20 gold for a room because they're a bunch of theiving bastards, then this Inn would only make you pay 5 but put you in a small cramped rooms with a half dozen other bums. But when you wake up, your shoes are gone. Good luck finding them.
  13. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1002 JaySuS might have a few of the blades you're looking for. In fact... http://static.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/1002-4-1326614246.jpg
  14. Creating an RTS out of Skyrim may not be an easy feat, and thinking about this idea it may be better off on another engine, particularly another RTS, but just hear me out! First off, large scale battles are entirely possible in game - http://youtu.be/GsZc4VoMOH8 Though tweaking the AI settings and optimising performance is a must to get 'em right, cushioning any impact on performance for certain PCs and compensating for artificial stupidity. I've provided a rough idea of units and gameplay, but I want to get people on board and would love to see some more ideas and criticisms. I'd also love it if perhaps people can prosposition additional campaigns, units, and scenarios, because I'm not the best on Elder Scrolls lore. Alrighty then, onto the concept! Skyrim Wars Play Modes: Campaign: Choose either the Oblivion Crisis (Imperials), Great War (Thalmor) or Civil War (Stormcloaks or Imperials, your choice). Each campaign offers a different experience. In the Oblivion crisis you'll have only a small force of soldiers and will find yourself having to recruit a rag tag army in your battle to liberate the lands from Daedric rule, all the while the main event's going down in Cyrodiil. You're stranded from the action, in a different part of Tamriel (Morrowind? High Rock?). Closing the gates is a top priority - no matter the cost. You could sack a village for loot after the daedra have left it, or save the populace and earn some new recruits! Loot can be used to bolster your rag-tag army and its special hero units - completing sidequests to unlock better loot, additional units and new heroes! In the Great War, you'll be in the boots of a hot-blooded Thalmor General who'll do anything to rise to power. First up, the annexation of Valenwood and Elsweyr, where you'll encounter attempts at resistance by a few local communities who must be punished. Then you're ordered to partake in the war effort Hammerfall and then Cyrodiil, taking the battle up to Imperial City in a campaign where sneaky tactics take you a long way. Sure, there'll be some direct battles, but there'll also be a lot of espionage, blackmail and betrayl! Turn generals against their faction, earn favour with your superiors so they may donate reinforcements and resources, and sabotage the efforts of your rivals. Meanwhile in the Civil war, you choose a side before engaging in a series of skirmishes to take back the holds. Engage in diplomacy, make allegiences, declare war, pay or demand tributes, all the while the risk of a hold suddenly coming under attack by the other side...or by dragons...constantly looms. Control the forts and you can guarantee a safe place, but remember the dragons are still flying about, ready to cause trouble at a moments notice. Defeating dragons earns you a huge boost of favour from the people of a hold - but your enemies can recieve the same recognition if they slay the dragon before you. All the while, the Dovahkiin's adventure goes on in the background. Whomever slays the most dragons and has the strongest holds earns the Dragonborn's favour, and that of a certain red friend of his, turning the tide of the war when he unleashes the power of the thu'um! Skirmish mode/Custom Battle Pick whatever faction you want, select a battlefield and duke it out! Lore don't matter so much here. Build structures, collect ore, manage farms and trade with villages (or simply pillage them) for gold. Heroes can be purchases with gold - Hire famous adventures, heroes, villains and mercs (ripped straight out of the lore) from taverns, perform black sacrements to summon the Dark Brotherhood, or if you're lucky, earn the favour of a Dragon Priest! But watchout! An angry Dragon might suddenly enter the fray to lay waste to all combatants! The Factions:(still very WIP) The Empire The Imperials have manpower, using their advantage in numbers together with backup from Mages, agents and Legates to master rush tactics. However, with the exception of their legates armour they're lacking in armour and don't possess the best mobility around. Units: Imperial Archer Basic Archery Unit. A competent archer who can't really stand up on his/her own in a close-ranged fight, but can still cause trouble from range. Armour: Imperial light armour, boots and gloves w/ theives-guild hood. Weapons: Imperial Bow, Steel Dagger and Steel Arrows Imperial Footman Lightly Armoured footsoldier, a good all-rounder. Armour: Imperial Studded Armour with Leather Bracers and footwear and Imperial Light helmet. Weapons: Imperial Sword, Imperial Light Sheild Imperial Battlemage Skilled combat mages who cover essential medic roles too. Their firebolts can hold back an advancing foe while their frost runes can slow down enemy formations. Since they're unarmoured, they must be protected at all times. Armour: Imperial-retextured Adept Robe w/hood, Imperial Light bracers and boots. Combat Spells: Firebolt (Enemies), Healing Hands (Allies) Defensive Spells: Steadfast Ward Activatable Area Spell: Grand Healing Targetable Spell: Frost Rune (On ground) Penitus Oculatus Skilled stealthy agents who can spot hidden enemies from afar. They're also just as good at sneaky attacks and reconnaissance. Armour: Penitus Oculatus Armor Weapons: Imperial Agent Sword (retexed Dwarven Sword) Targetable Spell: Fireball (off hand) Passive Area Spell: Agent's Vision (retooled variant of Detect Life, allowing him to highlight all hidden and invisible units. Always on) Legate Heavily armoured imperial elite. All freindly troops rally around the Legate and recive a light combat bonus. Armour: Imperial Armour Set, Imperial Helmet (closed variant) Weapons: Imperial Sword, Imperial Sheild Passive Area Spell: Imperial Oath (based on Rally/Call to arms, makes freindlies in a wide area unable to flee; fortifies Health, Stamina, One-handed, two-handed and archery, always on) The Aldemeri Dominion The Thalmor use a cunning balance of Lightly armoured warriors, nimble Khajit scouts, Valenwood archers and powerful wizards. While they lack heavy armour, they make up for it in range and speed. Units: Thalmor Archer Armoured Archer who functions as a good skirmisher in combat situations. Armour: Elven Armour sans gloves Weapons: Elven Bow, Elven arrows, Elven Axe Valenwood Archer Bosmeri archers are skilled hunters and can hide from enemy sight with impunity. They also possess amazing accuracy with their bows, with a higher likelyhood to score a critical hit than their altmer cousins. Armour: Some type of light armour/clothing, Leather Helmets, hide bracers Weapons: Hunting Bow (note: Maxed overdraw, critical shot at level 2), Iron Arrows, Iron Dagger Khajiit Scout Especially stealthy scouts who can sniff out hidden or invisible enemies and traps. Though not the greatest in direct combat, their poisoned swords ensure they'll still be a pain even after death. As an added bonus, they can lay down bear traps to snare unsuspecting patrols. Armour: Leather Armour, scaled boots, fur gloves Weapons: Iron Sword (poisoned), 3 Bear Traps (deployable) Thalmor Soldier Finely trained swordsman. Armour: Full Elven Armour set Weapons: Elven Sword, Elven Sheild Thalmor Wizard Adept altmer mages, they work best as shock troops. Pun not intended. Armour: Thalmor Hooded Robes set Weapons: Elven Mace Combat Spells: Sparks Defensive Spells: Greater Ward Targetable Spell: Chain Lightning Thalmor Justiciar Skilled inquisitors who can debilitate enemy forces. Armour: Glass Armour set (retex'd to match elven?) Weapons: Glass Sword Targetable Spells: Paralyze, Fear The Daedra The Daedric forces rely on a Prince dynamic to back up their main forces, balancing a selection of elite units ranging from Dremora lords to Golden Saints and Afflicted swarms by whichever Prince they choose to focus on, one at a time. NPC Factions: Bandits! Mercanaries! Vampires! The Blades! Companions! Ashlanders! Forsworn! Dark Brotherhood! Theives guild! Mudcrabs! Draugr! Witches! Necromancers! Trolls! All serve as secondary non-playable factions, offering hireable units and heroes...or additional obstacles in your path to victory! Okay, that's a very rough idea of what I've got in mind so far, but it still needs a LOT of development in the conceptual stage. Some of you who are familiar with RTS's, especially the likes of Warcraft, starcraft or company of heroes, can probably guess what I mean by terms like 'Targetable spell' and 'area spell' and all that. These are basically spells you choose to activate yourself, ie making a mage unleash a healing aura around himself to heal other units surrounding him, or making a Pentius Oculatus agent shoot a fireball at a given target. i've also outlined outfits for each unit to help them stand out from one another at a distance. Anyway criticism, suggestions and assistance is welcome! Sound away!
  15. Digging the idea of a vertical expansion to windhelm, like what you're planning with the docks too! The Frozen Water mill is a great concept, and it should've made the cut as Windhelm's landmark feature.
