  1. Nevermind this post guys, I managed to fix it. I needed to run the launcher as administrator. :P
  2. I recently installed skyrim and tried to launch it. What happens is when I click play on steam, it does the typical "Preparing Skyrim to launch" thing and then it brings up the launcher. After that, I then press play and windows 7 asks to give skyrim permission to make changes and I click yes. Then it loads the "Preparing to launch skyrim" thing from steam and then brings up the launcher again with no game running. I have included a video of the process which this goes through on youtube. NOTE: In the video, when I press it brings up the windows thing where it asks to give permission to the files but you can see it in the video. Just know that that is there and it asks it every time I click play from the launcher. Below is a list of everything I have tried to fix this problem. Any and all help is appreciated! Things I have done: Clean Reinstalled Skyrim Restarted Steam Restarted my computer verified integrity of Skyrim Cache Unsubscribed to Workshop mods Uninstalled Nexux mod manager and all mods w/ it Link to the video showing the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ye8RAfTFVF8&feature=youtu.be
