I'd like my compass back after removing it during frostfall / immersion / superhard gameplay phase of many freezing deaths - SGPMFD. I seem to remember doing something with the compass texture file itself but I can't remember where I found the instructions or how I actually did it. Does anyone remember a compass mod that does something apart from the showcompass ini setting? Minimal Hud, Customizable Camera settings in MCM have no effect and I haven't been able to find anything about alternative compass tweaks.

Like the name, it would be helpful to have an option to sort by endorsement ratio, endorsements per unique downloads. This ratio is a way to evaluate files quickly. Also, interestingly, the #1 endorsed mod of all time, immersive Armors, actually has a slightly below average endorsement ratio when compared to average quality mods. Other, far lesser known mods have high, extremely high or outstanding ratios; there is no real way to collect these into a query currently. Here is an excellent example; not the cup of tea for me but a very well made mod I would never have seen if it were not for word of mouth.

Black Swan was awesome. Trick or Treat terrified my superstitious friend to the point that he left the room. I just watched Edge of Tomorrow and it made me cry.

It would be neat if you reveal the various things you are referencing. Isn't that the purpose of a public forum? -

As I increase the magnitude of relevant information, which in the English language is all information, I find that your words take on a profound meaning. I do not believe that we understand all we are saying, any of us. -

I believe you are speaking in codes. I believe in the torus. -
I just realized I have no sense of privacy. I don't know if that's how I grew up, but if anyone else has insights I would really be interested in them.

This section of the forums is difficult to access; it takes a full scroll to the bottom of the page. I think, with millions of users, it might be interesting to move it nearer the top of the page.

I believe the continued use of internet based national intelligence is adversely, seriously, impacting the growth of Alibaba Group. I believe we are at a crossroads.

A mod that turns the helgen intro fight into a real quest, scripted the same way but with combat mechanics free and full control of your player. It would be the initial quest in the vanilla storyline. The dragon would have to be intense, horrible enough to require the best gear the game has to offer [req mod compatibily patches] and top tier skills + understanding of a large game lol combat build. This way, you would need to complete everything in the game almost, including dawnguard and dragonborn dlc's [optional patches] to be able to even make it through the first quest of the original epic storyline of the devs. However hard or easy the remaining storyline is not important, the hero is supposed to be an emperor in obscurity or whatever - meaning a lot of bandit flinging is going to be going on right at the start. I would do it. make it hard enough to where even a 100+ hour build would be tested and might fail.

Hello admins, just in case this is useful: www.nexusmods.com just jumped way up in response times [improved] and transaction efficiency as of 1500hrs MST; it is unlikely this is related to my system here or the connection service. It still seems to be good, I'll stick this in here in case someone is screwing around with something and you could use a outside reference.

I usually just click the wheel to open things in a new tab. Way faster, I seem to remember learning this not to long ago and I didn't understand why I didn't know it before hand. Just in case, good call though.

Well the lovely forum here just crumpled up and tossed a very helpful and resource rich post that said this: This is not as straightforward as it seems. Be positive to read the guide linked above [advanced section]. I have over 100 mods running perfectly - I'm good at deciphering complicated processes but this conversion would take an enormous amount of time in my case and there are several minor issues that come up while performing the above steps, none of which are quick to resolve. If you have not a massive load of mods then be aware that when the MO query info process askes for help selecting a Mod ID, you should pick the one that is 5ish digits long. Also, if you've installed and you choose to remove MO you must repair the Nexus Mod Download association before uninstalling. The process to complete this is located under "Uninstalling MO and fixing NXM association in Windows" and it is unclear if you are now stuck with an extraneous executable in an otherwise useless folder, unclear because I've lost interest. It may be easy to resolve.

Selecting a female at character creation crashes game
Antigravitas replied to Clinoilla's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I would uninstall race menu mods [ece and racemenu] if you are using both, then uninstall all custom skeletons. Apachii hair crashing the game sounds odd to me. just unbuild mods until the racemenu / chargen is back to vanilla then reinstall; pay careful attention to the skeleton advice in ECE, I'm not as familiar with Racemenu. I know that I have several custom skeletons running with both ECE and Racemenu installed and it pulls it together. Racemenu cannot be easily removed from savegames, keep in mind, and a failing savegame which has racemenu trouble is a hit and miss repair. Mashing everything together can be done but it needs repeated reads of details and install processes. You'll have to use some intuition to merge installation steps, a good understanding of the basics of mod building will help with that. Edit: I would advise you to remove precache killer, especially if you installed it just in case... Its a powerful tool, start by trying to get everything going without fixit patches; once thats done use fixit tools as required to come up with your preferred mix if its not running on its own. -
I see the rebirth has already run into some contention. For every king a coward, for every crown a cudgel I say. Also, I place my throne-order as well since all of us are entitled to one in this society, or so I believe. I would also like a small, symbolic cudgel... and here is a perfect fit. For the purposes of continuity I shall describe my instrument of office: It is a heater element from a 1950's era furnace designed and built by the Utility Appliance Corporation in the Atomic Age. It appears to be very slightly radioactive, which bothers me not at all considering. It's dimensions are impressive, but not so enormous as to be anything more than symbolic. Tomorrow I shall symbolically smite the first person to say the phrase "we're over the hump" though admittedly I've never heard anyone in this place say that before.

. This sound has been traced out to a low orbital and it may be originating from the Black Knight phenomenon - which itself is a badly garbled daisy chain report from an HAVE project gone terribly terribly wrong. Spine chilling indeed. just kidding 8/8/2014: in case you are now or are about to become obsessed with "the Black Knight" know this: it is a discarded thermal blanket from STS 88. Thank you NASA for wrecking up the place.

The search feature might need tweaking - for instance searching for "Skyrim Redone" returns results for just about everything related to the main mod but not the mod page itself. You have to repeat the search with omitted results. Frustrating.

Maybe a clearer path to this feedback thread so we can avoid situations like this. Also, ... was a little swat like that really necessary? If I were a new poster that would make me uncomfortable along with the insta-lock. Although I do understand the forum is heavily overloaded at this point.

Myself and a handful of others are digging into reports of the ISP Charter Communications hijacking Bing toolbar search queries and redirecting them to their own Yahoo powered search engine. There might be problems with dozens of other paid redirects running through various internal DNS servers among our ISPs but that's another project. If you have been noticing this specific Charter Communications issue please either post here with your county and state and how long it's been going on or PM me with the information. Thanks! By the way, to resolve this behavior get into your router settings and manually set the primary and secondary DNS servers to something like Google's [8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4]. Good night and good luck!

Sorry - the resources are available in this site. Download and install TES5Edit. Run this software and allow it to load everything that comes up as checked in the initial loading screen. It will generate an error message when it gets to the point that your game crashes since the loading it does is the same as the loading Skyrim does when you start it, basically. Review the pane on the right side, the last mod it attempted to load is missing its parent files, there will be a file not found error. Review that mod's requirements and correct the load order so that it's parent file [esp] is present when it tries to load. If you use Nexus Mod Manager you can do this easily with the Plugins tab; just select the mod and it will advise you of dependencies. If you do not use NMM there may be similar options in other mod managers. If you do not use a mod manager I recommend removing all mods, scripts or anything else youve put in [google will assist] and download one, preferably NMM - you can then reload your mods. It is much much easier to resolve problems when your mods are managed by dedicated clients, Skyrim is a complicated package. I'm really short on time atm, I hope this helps.

I can't figure this out - for some reason I have a set of iron armor with an armor value of 60+. This is way higher than any value I can find in TESSEdit. Also, I have a piece of hide armor with a value of 44 or so. I'm using Weapon and Armor Fixes, Immersive Armors and Deadly Combat with SkyRe, which I'm not sure if they would mod the armor values indirectly. I can't find any edits to armor in any of my other mods, ie mods that arent supposed to be messing with it. Other things are bothering me like Ringmail boots having an armor value of 10 while fur shoes have an armor value of 16. what the hell? I'll try removing the armor mods and seeing if the save loads and if the values change.

Use TESSEdit to load everything and find whats crashing, its going to be a load order problem if it CTD's at startup.

So I've been advised to post my thoughts by an authority on the subject. I've been warned of trolls and their trolling but I feel possibly that those who feel compelled to troll are themselves the loneliest. I discovered a solution to sadness, having been sad for several hours today. It is to begin to watch the movie The Fountain; finishing it is optional and this selection is also optional but it seems the easiest and most universal. After, or during, listen to music related to the soundtrack of this movie. I recommend Pandora because it provides an excellent AI for you. While this or that is going on, think of yourself and your life, and your daily life. Consider the fact that there is someone there, present in your daily life, that is accepting and attracted to you, who you may 1. not have noticed before 2. not have spoken to before when you know you should have. From this point it is up to you to become comfortable in the knowledge that you are interesting to at least one out of the currently defined set and that one is close enough to speculate upon and address. There is always another who is interested in any given person; its why we number in the billions. Go forth and multiply - by two. Also, Heartbreak Cafe is a TF2 / gaming community of which I am vaguely familiar. I do not claim any connection. Any complaints or clever counter-points or other silly nonsense should be directed directly at myself via pm in order to preserve the vanilla nature of this carefully crafted frame of thought. Also I may not respond - I am vapid, flighty, mercurial and intransigent.

CTD as soon as I get to the main menu.
Antigravitas replied to wombraider's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
According to , this is 99% sure to be a simple load order problem. If you don't want to watch the video or have slow connection, basically use TeSSedit to find the problem real quick. Start the program, let it load everything that comes up as checked... as it is doing this it will generate an error [which in the game would be the CTD]. Look at the log output by starting at the bottom and finding the last mod loaded. That's the one that's unhappy due to missing its parent file. Use NMM to check its dependecies [in the Plugins tab] and find those in the load order - one or more of them is probably going to be set to load after its dependant, easy fix. Also, if somehow this isn't the problem, the video goes on to something else but I stopped halfway because I knew it would fix my own CTD.
