Converter load models without texture (they just white) I used the latest MODKit, and uncooked game data. I used the in-build extractor in converter to extract all bundles. Game version: Witcher 3 GOTY 1.31 (A) Maybe there is another way to get textures and models ? I badly need house parts ( walls, roof etc) I can't attach debug file, so i just copy it

On the begining, GPU memory usage i had - 2.2 gb So, i changed my graphic card to R9 290x and suddenly came up to 60 FPS(or 40... can't remember). So don't know any reasons to change platform to Intel, or am i wrong ? In addition, all saying that my CPU would not "release" all the graphic card power(aka bottleneck), but i have only 80% load of the CPU.

Around a week i bought XFX radeon R9 290X. And the freezes are gone :D. I got stable average 60 FPS on my curr system. CPU usage around 80%

Thanks, kseon. I actually had it installed but I didn't follow their guide and add all of the extras or do any of the tweaks. I know that I should have and will do that with this next attempt at getting it all working. You are welcome :) When you'll follow the guide you still will have pretty much bugs especially because a lot of mods have new versions with different esp name or can include/don't need patch compabillity. And if you will have CTD - you should know, that there are mods that requires missing esp (this is problem of patch compab.) or your order of plugins is broken. It's the first (and single) place where you should find mismatches
-
If you disable all staff and CTD still go, than the problem is in your game i think. Maybe it have just installed incorrectly or maybe you installed previously some mod that damaged original files. Reinstall game, and start it. And after every 10 mods you installing start it to see that all thing are right and game don't CTD. If not, you would know that the problem in that bundle of 10 mods.
-
Try to read mods descriptions. For most of them is set needed version and required DLC. You can install some mod that require one of DLC you don't have. Or you forget to install patch compabillity for DLC from some mod.Or your version of skyrim if greater than requires. You don't have lots of mods, so you can easilly disable one by one and try to load. Thats how you can find your problematic mod. P.S. By the way, was your truing not to load but start new game ? There are some cases when after install some mods you need to start new game. P.S.S. Use second advice at first. It will be more quickly to find your problem. Then read descriptions of the mod and so on.

If you install mods on bow animation, don't you forget to use GenerateFNISforUsers ?

From my experience BOSS do nothing  Really. Most of CTD's i found by myself, while BOSS said that all right. First, try to look at your order(by yourself). Second, and most important - look carefully at descryption of plugins. There are situations when some of the plugins request old esp file while you have new version of it with different name. And when some plugins require other eps that you haven't install. This all are especially regarding of different patches. It's the first thing you must to look if you have CTD while trying to start game.

Hy everyone  So what happens: 1) Camera centered 2) HUD is disappearing 3) Camera shaking like when player walks 4) No move can be perform 5) Other things like NPC and menus are working. This happens everytime when the player escape from dragon to tower (the very beginning of the game). After some talk in tower if to be exact. Somehow i skiped this ones. The next this stuck was right after trying to go further(after jump in tavern) and see dragon(on the fence near narrow lane). I really don't know what this cause. I turned off mods for enchented blood and LessIntrussivHUD but it didn't help. My mods:

So, i come to choose one of this mb: 1) GigaByte GA-Z97X-SLI 2) GigaByte G1.Sniper-Z87 3) Asus MAXIMUS VII RANGER(only one option from ASUS. But it cost much more - 1.5 times ) So i would be really grateful if some of you can help to choose. P.S. Today i try to monitor my PC resources and i find one interestin thing: in Skyrim i have 18 fps. CPU usage -50% and video card - 100% or 50% (first - GPU-Z, second System monitor-> System information from Microsoft). Ram - about 4 gb. VRam - full(1gb) + 500-700 GPU System Memory(System monitor info). Then goes freeze and usage of CPU and GPU fall down to 10% and 0%. And this goes by round. So, is this shows that i have not enough Vram memory ? Or this freezes caused by something else

The best i5 is the 4690. But it doesn't matter since the 4670 is a very good CPU. As for the MB. That depends if you are planning to overclock. If so you will need a MB from the Z97 series and all of the manufacturers are fine. If you don't plan to overclock I recommend to look for the H97 series. These are cheaper (extra money you can spend on other components) and they will perform exactly as long as you won't overclock. I prefer to have option to overclock proc ) I thoght maybe some one know which is better. Or which create less problem to its user ) If i plan to use crossfire, there better to be x8/x8 than x16/x4 mode. And since i have good external card(asus essension) i don't need good internal chip(like creative in g1.sniper). So my choose should be Asus Z97-A ? -----------------------------------EDIT------------------------------------- The bad thing is that, if i set second graph card, it override PCI slot. And the last i need to set my audio card. So i am return to the begining - i don't know what mb i should to pick.( The only one mb where crossfire mode x8/x8 and the PCI din't override is GigaByte GA-Z97X-SLI. It has intel z97 express. Will it be the best choise ? Or should i not to be so obsessed with x8/x8 ?

Well i used to that changing to Intel should give me a more powerfull system, even compare to top AMD. So i want to buy: 1)Radeon XFX 280x BE 2)Intel i5 4670K 3) One of this motherboards: GigaByte G1.Sniper Z97 ATX MSI Z97-G43 MSI Z97 Gaming 3 Asus Z97-A I'm a novice at Intel system, so after a week of searches i still don't know what i'm buying  So my questions are: 1) Is the proc i want to buy good ?(actually i know the answer, because it's the best i5 in model line. But still) 2) What motherboard i should to choose ? It the most difficulte thing for me. I have a Asus essention sound card, so i don't need good audio chip. And with that, it's critically to have at least 1 PCI slot for it. I do like AMD cards, so SLI mode i think is unnecessary. In future not to buy new card, i can maybe buy the second R9 280x, if it would be chiper than new one. I don't think that i will really do overclocking but still i want that option. And the most necessary things are quality, durability and stability. I do want a system, that allow me not to think of any upgrades at least 2 year. And, if you know better mb model- tell me(but i think i will not pay for mb more than the proc cost). 3) Do you think system i want to buy is good with looking to the future ? P.S. I know that my questions are not about Skyrim. But i do really hope you will help me

Yes, i read about that. There is one big question, which game will use more than 4 core. It's not that characteristic which is announce like something common or even talking(if iit's not a feature of game). It can be found in some info about game engine, but only in popular one i think(cryE,unrealE,frostbyte ...) And there is one more - software or hardware request separation(force to use N core). If something like this will appear, AMD will be unbeatable. But still, there isn't something like this in common way). I find some tweak's that force Skyrim to use 2,4 or even 8 core's. Interesting is it give some nice result and how would it be compered to i5 So did you tweak you Skyrim to use all 8 cores and what was the result ?
-
Yes, now i understand it. Thanks, you really explained it to me. In this case there is reason to change system to Intel later. However i read that Intel is less multitasking that AMD
-
Thanks for answer. So i am really confused. I don't know what shoud i do. I think, that buying SSD is really will be usefull not even to skyrim(and i will buy it). But what about video card and proc i don't know. I can buy or R9 280x or change motherboard and proc to Intel(or maybe there is some analog from AMD). But what will be more usefull, and where i will see the video card power increment except Skyrim. Because for now my card can handle games (I think ?)

Systen is x64. Well It's not even load, i can play(but i can see you, freeze :) ). Maybe of the first locations (i don't play for too long), or maybe i install something wrong ? Some intresting thing - in task manager i saw that ENB takes about 1200 Mb, Skyrim itself - 800 Mb and 40% of proc. Maybe am i really done something wrong ? For begin i thoght about XFX R9 270x, than about XFX R9 280X . But XFX R9 290X is not far from previous by cost...

So ... Anyone have more suggestions ?
-
Well, for CPU i will need to buy motherboard - so after card it would be problematic  And the question, a moment ago i tested game with: ReservedMemorySizeMb=128VideoMemorySizeMb=6144 And there were not much freezes. Maybe i somehow wrong understand "heavy moded". Here my list of mods(Preview - increase by clicking).

I'm not so familiar with AMD CPUs but especially Skyrim benefits from an Intel CPU. There are several Intel CPUs out there that would outperform the Phenom II x4 980. Granted they are also more expensive. If i only change card to r9 270 or 280x would it be enough for somehow ? Or from what i suppose to start (SSD, CPU, Video), becouse changing all the system is quite expencive would be

So in your case you can try to set it to 7168 IF you have a 64bit Windows version. But I would not really recommend it since your GPU is too weak. I would stick with the pure value of your graphics card and set it to 1024. Thanks for answer. So ReservedMemorySizeMb is the VRAM value that is not will be used. But i don't understand with the second value. Why so big range ? How this value affect on CPU and game at all ? About hardware. So, instead of buying SSD, i should look for videocard ? I thought about it, and looked on this card XFX Radeon R9 270 2048MB DDR5 (256bit) (900/5600). About CPU, is there any AMD proc that whoud really be better than mine ?

Hi all :) Last week i waste for modding skyrim. At the and i set up to 217 mods(most of them from RealVision ENB). The fps i think normal, but i have freezes. And when i arrive to checkpoint(where we choose player) freezes become more often. Here my PC hardware: 1) Asus m5a99x evo 2) Phenom II x4 980 3.7 GHr (with Zalman radiator) 3) Radeon hd 6850 msi cyclone 1 gb 4) DDR3 8Gb (2x4Gb) Kingston HyperX Fury 5) XFX 800W (i guese ?) 5) Hitachi HDS723020BLA642 So, been wondering where is my narrow chanel ?I know that my videocard is not so powerfull, but maybe the first problem is HDD ? P.S.In my enblocal.ini there are two lines ReservedMemorySizeMb=512VideoMemorySizeMb=4096 The second line was written that it's RAM (but why there "video"). If it's really RAM, maybe i can tweak it to 8192 ? And what about the first line ?
